Overview
This Elder's Realmbreaker build focuses on supporting PvE groups by constantly decreasing the defenses of mobs even though it deals negligible damage. It is one of the easier builds to play as your job is to keep the mobs debuffed as much as possible while also constantly keeping up the Spirit Crush effect on mobs. This build shines in both Group Dungeons and Avalonian Dungeons but it can also work well in statics or Avalonian Roads, offering great support.
Equipment
Usage
Elder's Realmbreaker
Rending Spin — Use this skill on cooldown against mob packs to keep up bleeds on all mobs after a pull, try to always maintain the maximum of 3 stacks of bleeds on the mobs and also keep in mind that this ability deals higher damage if you hit the mobs with the outer edge of the skill.
Deadly Chop — This skill is used to apply a single target defense decreasing debuff and you should try to focus on using this skill on the mob your group prioritizes in order to make it easier to kill it. Always account for the short cast time when using this skill as it takes a short moment to hit an enemy with Deadly Chop.
Aftershock — Use this skill whenever your tank is done pulling and aim to hit as many mobs as possible as it lowers their max HP by 15% and sets up an easier clear for your team while also putting them into the air and interrupting abilities mobs might use.
Aggressive Rush — A nice damage buff as you will be auto-attacking a lot to keep Spirit Crush active.
Elder's Royal Armor
Energy Source — Use this skill to replenish mana for your group, always communicate when you are about to use it so your allies can come closer and make use of the ability.
Authority — This skill increases the duration of your Aftershock by a little bit which is nice to have.
Spirit Crush - Always try to auto-attack all enemies in a pack but especially the one your group is focusing. While the debuff applied by this passive lasts for a few seconds, you can cycle between mobs so it lowers all their HP bars and pairing well with Aftershock.
Elder's Stalker Hood
Mortal Agony — You should use this whenever the group of mobs is below 50% HP in order to strip all their defensive resistances but also boost your damage and by extension boost your group's damage when attacking the mobs.
Quick Thinker — This passive makes it so you can use your skills more often!
Elder's Cultist Sandals
Rotten Ground — Use this ability, then move within the group of mobs once your tank pulls them in. This will strip defenses off all mobs hit by the ability. Make sure to move around to spread the Rotten Ground so it affects all mobs.
Concentration — This passive helps a bit with casting Deadly Chop quicker.
Elder's Lymhurst Cape
Energy Reserve — As the build can be rather mana intensive due to relatively low cooldowns, this cape will help with mana sustain. It triggers automatically once your energy reaches 40% and restores 80% of your max energy over a short time.
Rotations
- Start by waiting for your tank to make the pull before using Aftershock followed by using Rending Spin to apply the first stack of bleeds on the mobs. Follow with Rotten Ground to keep the group of mobs debuffed while you switch between targets with your auto-attacks, with a greater focus on the main mob that your group aims to kill first. Use another Rending Spin for a second bleed stack then use Deadly Chop on whatever high HP mob your group is focusing. Use yet another Rending Spin to apply the final bleed stack and use Mortal Agony if the mobs are under 50% and apply a final defense decreasing debuff. Continue a mix of Rending Spin and auto-attacks triggering Spirit Crush on the remaining mob/s then use Energy Source to refresh everyone's mana.
Consumables
Major Poison Potion — Use this on bosses or mobs with high HP, usually following a predefined rotation as you want multiple members of your party to use the poison one after another so its always active on a target.
Pork Omelette — This food will decrease the cooldowns of your skills which helps a lot as your main goal is to use them as much as possible and this food offers you exactly that.
