Weaknesses
- Low Mobility
Overview
This Elder's Longbow build focuses on dealing high burst damage on bursts while lowering the defensive stats of mobs. The build remains easy to play and offers good support through the use of Elder's Royal Jacket, lowering the CDs of your entire group. This is the perfect build for new players! It performs well in Group Dungeons, Statics and Hardcore Expeditions or Roads of Avalon PvE.
Equipment
Usage
Elder's Longbow
Deadly Shot — You should always align this shot so it hits as many enemies as possible during pulls because each hit decreases mob defenses and helps with killing them efficiently.
Explosive Arrows — Use this on cooldown as it adds an explosive AOE effect to your next 10 arrows, helping a lot with improving your DPS.
Enchanted Quiver — This increases your auto-attack speed but also loads up 6 enchanted arrows that are shot when you auto-attack a target. These arrows have increased damage but makes sure to keep away from your targets or else the damage you deal will be lowered. You can use this ability again to charge up 4 more arrows and also dash 6 meters away in any direction.
Piercing Arrows — This passive will help a bit by decreasing the defenses of all mobs you hit with your auto-attacks.
Elder's Royal Jacket
Royal Banner — Use this skill after you've used your DPS abilities in order to refresh them and also help your group by lowering their own cooldowns. This is your main support ability that can be reset using Flash of Insight.
Quick Thinker — With build's reliance on skills, you want to lower your cooldowns as much as possible and this passive does exactly that.
Elder's Specter Hood
Flash of Insight — You should use this after you've used your Royal Banner in order to reset its cooldown and use that ability again. This will reset your Royal Banner cooldown and allow you to use it again.
Quick Thinker — This passive decreases your cooldowns and its an obvious choice.
Elder's Shoes of Tenacity
Blind Spot — Use this skill to deal damag after activating it. It's a good choice for some extra damage and should be used as often as possible.
Quick Thinker — Another good passive that lowers your cooldowns.
Elder's Morgana Cape
Mark of the Raven — This cape skill increases your auto-attack speed, greatly improving your single target DPS. Keep in mind that this cape skill is triggered every time you activate Enchanted Quiver.
Rotations
- Wait for your tank to pull mobs first before using Blind Spot and Deadly Shot before activating Explosive Arrows to deal AOE damage when you use your auto-attacks. Follow up with Enchanted Quiver so your auto-attacks are further boosted while also triggering the cape skill Mark of the Raven increasing your auto-attack speed. Use Deadly Shot between auto-attacks and don't forget to use Enchanted Quiver againt to reload your special arrows and make use of the entire skill.
Consumables
Major Poison Potion — The poison primary use is against bosses to inflict true damage and reduce boss defenses. Be sure to coordinate with your party before using the poison, as they do not stack. By cycling everyone's use of poison, you can ensure there is always an active poison effect on the boss.
Pork Omelette — Use this to decrease your cooldowns and make it so you get to use your abilities even more often! Use a 7.1 version if you can afford it.
