As a Tank, you rely a whole lot on your blocking and that for investing points into Sustained GuardSustained Guard is an obvious choices to reduce stamina drain while blocking (default key E). Adding Mental FortificationMental Fortification is also helpful, as it lowers the chance of being crowd-controlled (CC’d) while blocking, which can be situationally useful. However, the most important node you want to unlock as soon as possible remains the Empowered GuardEmpowered Guard as it greatly improves your blocking efficiency.

Once you've unlocked the right side of the Stamina tree, start unlocking the rest with Escape VelocityEscape Velocity to boost your movement speed while sprinting in combat (default key C). This becomes especially important later in the game, allowing you to kite mobs while waiting for cooldowns or to escape dangerous situations entirely if needed.

Next, invest in Recuperation Training and Evasive ManeuverEvasive Maneuver to improve your evasion rate while dodging. This also unlocks SpringstepSpringstep, which significantly enhances mobility by increasing the distance you can roll.

  • This rotation is perfect for CCing groups of enemies and keeping them in place so your group can follow up with damage.
  • Start by using ChargeCharge to dash in to a group of stacked enemies before using Tremoring BellowTremoring Bellow to apply snare (slowing) them down. Use Ground PoundGround Pound to then trip the same group of enemies before they can get out. Once tripped, you should follow up with TomahawkTomahawk for extra damage against tripped targets and SlamSlam to deal good AOE burst damage.
Pull Rotation ↴

  • This rotation is much more defensive with the goal of pulling in enemies from a defensive position with GrappleGrapple before transitioning into Tremoring BellowTremoring Bellow which will snare the target you pulled before using Shield AssaultShield Assault to trip the target and lock them down in place for both yourself and your team to damage.
  • The damaging part of this rotation starts with TomahawkTomahawk for increased damage while finishing up with SlamSlam and DesolateDesolate for extra damage before the enemy can react.

ReflectReflect: Use this whenever the mob channels a hard hitting skill, allowing you to survive where otherwise you could easily die. Once you've gotten Refreshing ReflectRefreshing Reflect, this will also restore your mana, acting as a great way to regain mana.

ProtectProtect: Use this on one of your healers to constantly decrease the damage taken by them, this will make it much more difficult for enemies to burst down your healers, especially if all tanks in your raid do the same.

AegisAegis: Use this during pushes or while your group is being focused, helping a whole lot whith negating damage.

FortifyFortify: Use this only when you have a good amount of Courage stacks. Usually best used when enemy DPS is trying to burst you or someone you use ProtectProtect on.

WallWall: Be careful when using this skill as it puts up a shield and can make it awkward for allies. You can use it as a follow-up to your CC rotations, making it more difficult for enemies to get away and/or help the CC'd targets if you place the wall between them and their teammates.
