Overview
This PVP Ranger build offers insane single target burst damage capable of killing off enemies with ease in the open world of Ashes of Creation. It is one of the top choices for caravan runs but also does fantastic in larger group PVP thanks to 
Raining Death and File:-1Shatter Shot hitting many enemies. This build's mobility remains a core part of it though with 
Air Strike and 
Disengage allowing you to move unhindered through the battlefield.

In PvP, the Ranger’s kiting ability is key to staying alive. Investing in 
Escape Velocity is ideal, as it boosts your movement speed while sprinting in combat (default key C) and makes kiting enemies much easier, helping you avoid unnecessary damage. This becomes even more important later in the game, allowing you to kite players effectively while waiting for cooldowns or escaping ganks.
Next, put points into Recuperation Training and Evasive Maneuver to increase your evasion rate while dodging. These upgrades also unlock 
Springstep, which improves your mobility by extending your roll distance.
Finally, use your remaining points on the Guard Training branch to lower stamina usage when blocking (default key E). Adding 
Mental Fortification is also a good option, as it decreases the chance of being crowd-controlled (CC’d) while blocking, which can be useful in certain scenarios.
Rotations
- Make sure you are using File:-1Imbue Ammo: Barbed for this before you use
Bear Trap onto the ground between yourself and the enemy as you prepare to pull the mob in question. Use 
Barrage to apply Bleed then use 
Snipe to deal very high damage before enemies can usually react to you.
- Continue the rotation with
Thundering Shot followed by Raining Death as it deals extra damage when used on Shocked targets. Finish off the target with 
Headshot once the target is below 50% HP.
- First, ensure that both File:-1Imbue Ammo: Barbed and
Hunt of the Tiger are active. These skills are very useful for kiting, as File:-1Imbue Ammo: Barbed applies bleed which helps with your overall DPS while Hunt of the Tiger greatly increases your critical damage.
- If you have a tank, let them pull mobs together before using Bear Trap and letting the mobs run over it to deal damage and also snare the mobs. Follow up with
Scatter Shot two times in order to apply bleed then turn it into Hemorrage with 
Ensnaring Vine Field. Use Thundering Shot to then apply the Shocked debuff and boost Raining Death damage to deal even more AOE DPS before using 
Lightning Reload to use Raining Death again.
