Stamina
As a Cleric, you can outheal most of the damage and usually never have health issues either in group or in solo play, avoid focusing on Sustained Guard, as your primary strategy relies on dodging and sprinting. Instead, start by prioritizing Escape Velocity to boost your sprinting speed in combat (default key C). This becomes essential later on, allowing you to kite enemies during cooldowns or escape danger quickly.
Next, invest in Recuperation Training and Evasive Maneuver to increase your dodge evasion rate. These upgrades also unlock Springstep, significantly enhancing your mobility by improving dodge distance.
Finally, use any remaining points on Guard Training to lower stamina costs when blocking (default key E). Adding Mental Fortification can also be useful, as it reduces your chance of being crowd-controlled (CC’d) while blocking, which can help in specific situations.
Rotations
- This is the main rotation you should use when grinding mobs and AOE farming with a group as it provides great AOE DPS while also healing your party. Make sure you have Bless Weapon active on yourself at all times as it adds a lot of extra damage to your auto-attacks. However, in group play you can use this on your melee DPS.
- While the ranged DPS or Tank is making the pull, make sure to cast a quick Soothing Glow on them for some healing to negate damage taken during the pull. Channel Chains of Restraint on top of all mobs before using Consecrating Wave to deal AOE damage and also heal your entire group.
- Continue the rotation by using Divine Flare in the center of the group of mobs but make sure that you are also hitting your party members with it to heal them.
- Use this quick rotation to kill single mobs. Make sure that you have Bless Weapon active before doing anything else though! You should be using this whole rotation in melee range using a Greatsword.
- Use Soothing Glow to apply a HoT (Healing over Time) buff on yourself before using Smite in melee range so you negate the cast time. Use Judgment next with Consecrating Wave to kill off the mob.
Wings of Salvation: Use this to save friendly players from dying. You can also pair it with Barrier if needed but the two skills can also be used interchangeably. It should be quickly followed up with Defiant Light to make sure that the player doesn't die.
Condemn: Use this to CC a mob if you or your group doesn't want to kill a mob and instead would rather have the mob remain CC'd while you fight other threats.
Communal Restoration: This is your main AOE Healing spell that you should use to keep allies alive throughout all content.
