Defender PvE Build
- Very Tanky
- Easy to play
- Solo-friendly
- Good Damage
- Low Range
- Can have mana issues
Overview
This Defender hybrid PvE build focuses on mixing attack power and resistances to make the Defender into a bruiser capable of taking down all content either solo or in a party, more than able to deal damage while remaining very resistant. The build is perfect for any skill level, great for both new and veteran players.
Skill Bar

Champion Strike: Your primary damage skill. It deals solid damage and helps maintain aggro while also hitting multiple targets thanks to
Splash Wave, further upgraded into
Blademaster for even more damage.
Shield Throw: A versatile ability that damages and stuns enemies while also reducing its own cooldown. Be careful, though, if you miss, the shield drops to the ground and must be retrieved, leaving you with reduced armor until it’s recovered.
Assault: Your main mobility and AOE tool, letting you leap onto enemies to deal damage and apply a taunt while also offering the ability to fear the mobs taunted thanks to
Intimidator.
Stand Behind Me: A powerful defensive buff that reflects all frontal damage back at enemies. While active, you take no damage, and allies standing behind you also benefit from reduced incoming damage.
Vanguard: A passive skill that increases your armor and magic resistance based on the number of nearby enemies (up to 6).
Mana Boost: Important for leveling, use it whenever its up and you need some mana, very straightforward.
Cleanse: Very useful when dealing with mobs and bosses that apply DoT debuffs as this clears them all out.
Equipment

Runes: Typhoon provides extra armor, while
Jagged Scar grants a strong, long-lasting AP buff when killing mobs.
Gear: Raptor Augment are the artifacts that increase raw damage while
Invictus Plate and
Plated Lungs help a great deal with HP and armor rating.
Consumables: Use Bread alongside
Sweet Baked Pumpkin for steady HP and mana regeneration. For extra stats,
Titanium Ointment Ultra increases your Armor rating further, while
Hugh Mangus Blunt adds a solid boost to your damage which helps a great deal with solo content like Prison Island.

Rotations

The damage rotation begins with Champion Strike to deal good AOE damage. Keep in mind that
Champion Strike has a 3 hits combo, using auto-attacks inbetween each hit. Follow up with
Shield Throw to further damage and stun the target before using
Assault to keep the mobs taunted. You can then the
Intimidator part of
Assault to fear the mobs and wait for CDs again.
