Shaman Leveling Build
- High Single Target DPS
- Fun to Play
- Solo Friendly
- Squishy
- Low Mobility
- Low AOE Damage
Overview
This Shaman Leveling Build focuses on building up high AP (Attack Power) to boost damage done while coupling it with attack speed buffs and high crit chance making it very fun to play as its capable of jumping from target to target with ease and kill mobs quickly before moving on to the next group of mobs. While the build has limited AOE damage, it is made up for with an early investment into Blade Fury to help with clearing camps quickly by doing extra AOE damage.
Skill Bar

Rip Apart: This is your main damaging skill, however, keep in mind that it has two parts. The first time you press it you jump onto a target and deal damage while also lowering resistances while the second cast allows you to dash away to avoid damage if needed. Once you've unlocked
Accelerated Assault, the dash also increases your attack speed, helping you do impressive damage very quickly.
Totemic Fury: This spell has three different options. You can cycle through your
Elemental Mastery to choose which totem to summon when you use the skill. The Fire Totem can be placed down and it does fire damage to mobs around it. The Water Totem heals you and nearby allies. And lastly, The Earth Totem increases your damage and also the damage done by the
Elemental Mastery wolf.
Lightning Strike: While this is a nice skill on itself, with this heavy AP (attack power) build,
Lightning Strike does very little damage and isn't even worth using as it does raw Spell Power damage.
Call of the Wild: This skill spawns a wolf that does good damage and can also cast its own skills every 5th auto-attack depending on which
Elemental Mastery you have active. The Fire Element makes the wolf do an AOE fireblast and leave behind a fire behind dealing damage to all mobs caught into it. The Earth Element allows the wolf to do the most burst damage and also slow mobs caught in the AOE. And lastly, The Water Element heals you and the wolf every 5th auto-attack the wolf does.
Elemental Mastery: This skill automatically increases your attack-speed every 3rd auto-attack you make and adds a charge. Once you reach 5 charges,
Elemental Mastery allows you to use
Totemic Fury and summon a totem. Depending on which element you have active on this skill, it also controls what kind of damage your wolf (
Call of the Wild) does.
Mana Boost: Essential for both leveling and mana management. Activate it whenever it’s available, especially if your mana is running low. With proper mana management, this skill alone can sustain you for long stretches, making consumables unnecessary while leveling.
Heal: Just as important as
Mana Boost, this skill shines during leveling and can be a lifesaver when you’re taking heavy damage.
Equipment

Runes: Lamprey and
Scar are excellent choices for leveling and keeping high attack power. They provide a stacking damage buff and adds an extra damage tick on a low cooldown. Upgrading to
Mantis or
Jagged Scar isn’t necessary, though you can pick them up if they drop for you or come up at a good price on the marketplace.
Gear: Steroid Implant and
Battle Sleeve are both strong options for leveling. While
Battle Sleeve can be tough to obtain early on, it becomes easier to find as you progress. Until then, equipping a full set of
Steroid Implant is a great way to maximize your damage. Once you can afford it and get to level 10, start looking for good deals on
Steam Cells Implant and buy a pair to help with staying alive.
Consumables: Bread &
Sweet Baked Pumpkin are useful to help with HP and Mana regen while
Biosteroids Shot increases AP and
Small Joint improves crit rate. (Improve into
Double Biosteroids Shot and
Strong Joint once you are level 10).
Talents

Mastery

With the max level currently being 20, it is unrealistic to assume anyone would have much more than 15 weapon mastery before or at fresh level 20. If, for some reason you have more than that, consult the PVE Ranger Build for more.
Rotations

With this Shaman leveling build focusing mostly on buffed auto-attack damage, begin the rotation by making sure that Call of the Wild is active and your wolf is out and your
Elemental Mastery is on the Earth Element. Then walk up to a mob and use
Rip Apart to deal damage and debuff the mob before using it again to buff your attack speed through the use of
Accelerated Assault. Once you have 5
Elemental Mastery stacks, use
Totemic Fury for another damage increasing buff.
