Heavenquaker Spear & Infernal Twinblades PvE Build
- Easy to Play
- Good AOE DPS
- Good Single Target DPS
- No healing
- Low Range
- Low Sustain
- Can be boring to play
Overview
The
Heavenquaker Spear combos well with the high single target damage of
Infernal Twinblades as the build allows you to deal both AOE and single target damage quickly, making it the perfect choice for all PVE content and maintaining this build as one of the easiest to play in Where Winds Meet thanks to the heavy use of Light Attacks with the
Infernal Twinblades once buffed up with
Flamelash.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Morale Chant is a fantastic choice for boosting DPS as every hit has a chance to increase damage. Using
Echoes of Oblivion and
Bitter Seasons offer high DoT potential while also shredding enemy armor by using the
Infernal Twinblades light attacks. Wrap up the Inner Ways with
Seasonal Edge to boost your stats whenever you use the Dual-Weapon Skill, further increasing Critical Rate and overall damage you do.
Mystic Skills
Ghost Bind is an incredibly powerful AoE CC support skill, helping you set up groups of mobs for yourself or your allies. Another strong CC option is
Talon Strike, which knocks down a target for easy follow-ups, such as
Soaring Spin for a burst of damage.
Dragon's Breath provides solid damage over time on its own and stacks perfectly on bosses, but it also combos seamlessly into
Drunken Poet, causing the
Dragon's Breath debuff to explode for extra damage with every hit you land using
Drunken Poet.
Leaping Toad is another very strong PvE skill, applying a poison that deals good damage and, once upgraded, spreads to nearby enemies, causing multiple explosions for excellent AoE pressure.
Rotations
- Just like the other rotation, you want to use
Dragon's Breath first to put burns on a target. Continue with
Addled Mind, then follow up with
Calamity's Greed to keep the combo going. After that, use
Addled Mind again and switch back to
Calamity's Greed. Finish the sequence with
Flamelash into Light Attacks as they are buffed then swap to the
Heavenquaker Spear.
Make sure to always have
Dragon's Breath active on the boss if you can.
- Use
Sweep All first to debuff the enemy/boss then use
Sober Sorrow to deal damage before transitioning into a full charged
Drifting Thrust. Make sure to keep
Dragon's Breath active though, so refresh as its about to run out.
