Vernal Umbrella & Panacea Fan PvP Build
- Good Range
- Easy to Play
- Great Heals
- Revive
- Requires Setup
- High Skill Ceiling
- Squishy
Overview
This setup is one of the strongest ranged DPS plus healer builds in Where Winds Meet, especially in group PvP like guild fights, 5v5, or prison breaks. It lets you deal solid damage from range while still fully supporting your team with strong healing. It is weaker in 1v1 arenas since it does not burst enemies down very fast, but it shines when fights get messy and long.
The
Vernal Umbrella is your main damage weapon. It allows you to pressure enemies from the backline without needing to step into close range. You can keep attacking safely while your teammates push forward and control space.
Adding the
Panacea Fan turns the build into a support monster. You gain powerful heals and, most importantly,
Resurrection. Being able to revive teammates in PvP is huge and often decides fights. With good positioning, you can keep your team alive, bring allies back, and slowly overwhelm the enemy through sustain rather than raw damage.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Morale Chant is still one of the strongest Inner Ways you can use. Every hit or heal boosts your damage and healing, so it fits perfectly into this build and is easy to keep active during fights.
Blossom Barrage is a very strong pick because it gives you an extra charge of
Spring Sorrow. It also makes enemies take more damage from your attacks, which helps your team win fights while also being able to CC enemies from range more often.
For defense,
Trapped Beast adds a shield when your HP gets low. This makes it much harder for enemies to burst you down and gives you time to heal or reposition.
Evasive Charge works great with a dodge focused playstyle. Perfect Dodges refund endurance, letting you move more, kite better, and stay alive longer in PVP fights.
Mystic Skills
Your most important PvP Mystic Skill is still
Serene Breeze. It breaks CC right away, lets you escape combos, and helps you reset fights. Skipping this skill in PvP is not acceptable.
Golden Body is also very strong, giving you protection and Fortitude. It can even help nearby allies stay safe too as it can extend to them.
For ranged pressure,
Meridian Touch is very useful. It lets you poke safely and Execute low HP enemies without getting close.
Dragon's Breath also fits well, adding burn damage to single targets or groups and keeping pressure while you play defensively.
If enemies jump on you,
Talon Strike and
Yaksha Rush are great counters. Both knock enemies down and go through block, making them strong against aggressive players.
Leaping Toad is another solid option. It deals good damage, applies poison, and staggers enemies, which opens them up for follow ups. You can also spam it for strong AoE damage in groups.
For movement and surprise engages,
Cloud Steps helps you reposition or close gaps quickly. It can be blocked if predicted, so use it smartly when enemies are distracted.
Rotations
- This build doesn't exactly have a ranged rotation outside the
Spring Sorrow +
Spring Away combo which lets you simply stun and then fire on enemies from range. But naturally, you can also push in and use
Dragon's Breath to deal AOE damage, or your other Mystic Skills as needed.
Your main source of healing, however, comes from frequently using
Emerald Dewtouch to quickly top off allies whenever needed.
Light Dust After Morning Rain: Use this to apply a healing buff to yourself or teammates who are low on HP. When it shifts into
Resurrection, you can also revive fallen allies and bring them back into the fight.
Cloudburst Healing: Place this near the boss or where your team is fighting to heal multiple allies at once. It is effective at the start of encounters for pre-healing, or during intense boss mechanics to help keep everyone alive.
