Usage

Elite specialization basics

  • In spite of A-Net insisting on turning scrapper into a "cool bunker" all top level scrappers have realized the only way to play scrapper competitively is to go full damage
  • For most of the game you stay at range and spam mortar attacks
  • Dive in with gyros and hammer skills to finish off weak targets
  • Get out before dying and return to spamming mortar

Ranged

  • When approaching teamfights from afar first throw Toss Elixir U at your feet and cast Blast Gyro to get damage modifiers from superspeed and vigor, and stack might, fury and quickness.
  • If you are sure you won't go into melee range any time soon feel free to use Elixir U for more quickness.
  • Immediately pull out your Elite Mortar Kit and spam the number 1 attack on point.
  • Rotate your Gyros and toolbelt skills to maintain fury and quickness on yourself.
  • It is generally good to use Poison Gas Shell when bombarding people because it prevents them from healing.

Melee

  • You are very squishy so you should only go into melee range if you are sure you will finish off kills.
  • You may want to cast Flash Shell to give yourself some added survivability as it will cause enemies to miss their attacks
  • Pick a low health target and cast Thunderclap as you run into melee range
  • Use your Shredder Gyro
  • Now use Rocket Charge and finish them off with Electro-whirl
  • If they are still alive use Elixir U and auto attack them to death

Utility

  • Your gyros and their associated toolbelt skills grant superspeed. Use them to run around the map.
  • Use your Function Gyro to stomp downed targets and revive allies
  • You can use Flash Shell to stop enemies from stomping your teammates
  • Use Shock Shield to block attacks if you fail to get a melee kill and need to escape.
  • Click on the ground to untarget people and use Rocket Charge. Works to create space when trying to escape enemies. Make sure to turn off auto targetting.
  • In your settings you need to put ground targetted spells to instant cast and make sure that you check the thing that retargets spells to updated targets. Your mortars aim where your mouse is so its very important that you have these settings for propper aim.
  • Maybe I'll write more later idk
