Rogue - Leveling Build
- Good for Solo Play
- High Burst Damage
- Great Mobility
- Good Utility
- Squishy
- Low AOE DPS until higher levels
Overview
This Rogue DPS build focuses on the leveling part of the game from level 1 to 25. The Rogue is the perfect choice for solo leveling with its large arsenal and many tools that allow any Rogue player to do well in different scenarios. Access to Stealth not only allows you to navigate through the world of Ashes of Creation but also halves the cooldown of your
Stab when using it from stealth. However,
Stealth utility doesn't stop there as
Soothing Shadows allows for constant self healing throughout the whole leveling journey.

Stamina

As you progress and level up in this Rogue build, prioritize Escape Velocity to enhance your movement speed while sprinting in combat (default key C). This becomes particularly valuable in the later stages of the game, enabling you to kite mobs during cooldowns or completely evade dangerous situations when necessary.
Subsequently, allocate points to Recuperation Training and Evasive Maneuver to boost your evasion rate while dodging. This will also unlock
Springstep, which dramatically improves mobility by extending the distance of your roll.
Finally, direct any remaining points toward the Guard Training branch to decrease stamina consumption while blocking (default key E). Adding Mental Fortification is also good, as it reduces the likelihood of being crowd-controlled (CC’d) while blocking.
Rotations

- While the rotation is very easy to pull off, you should make sure to always start fights from behind the enemy while in
Stealth to make use of the extra damage done with
Stab followed by
Thrash. Continue the rotation by using
Acrobatic Strike once the mob turned to face you, this way you build the Advantage buff.
- Cast
Doublestrike so it casts
Stab again for extra damage, spending Advantage. Use
Thrash again then continue with
Feint to boost resistance by increasing your evasion rate, using
Thrash one last time, applying bleed and making it easy to transition into
Lacerate to turn the bleeding debuff into Hemorrage for extra damage over time.

- Start by using
Stealth to get the Advantage buff before starting to gether mobs together using your bow. Once you've done that, use
Thrash to do some damage to a first mob before using
Throw and
Thrash again. Use
Lacerate to deal damage and apply bleed to all stacked enemies, then use
Thrash (this one will do AOE Damage thanks to
Trounce) and also apply Advantage again and use it on making
Kick hit all mobs.
- Doing that will also grant you the
Trounce buff, making it easy to follow up with
Flurry for more AOE damage. Use
Feint to boost evasion rate and also gain Advantage once more. Use
Doublestrike to finish off the targets as it will cast
Lacerate.
Consumables
While leveling, make sure to also use the appropiate level consumables, starting with Novice Scroll of Adventuring Experience at level 1 &
Apprentice Scroll of Adventuring Experience at level 10 before working up to
Journeyman Scroll of Adventuring Experience once you reach level 20. Level 20 is also where you can start using
Elixir of Strength for extra damage while
Fresh Salad can be used from level 1 to max while
Roasted Grem is another good choice if you can get access to it once you have the level requirement.
