Overview

This Rogue PVE DPS build does particularly well when dealing with single targets but also can hold itself well in AOE grinding scenarios, dungeons and so on. The Rogue is perfect for those looking for a more difficult class to play that requires higher APM when compared to other classes. Playing this will require you to memorize and perform your rotations well as skills like DoublestrikeDoublestrike and ThrashThrash have specific conditions to use properly.

The Rogue offers a large amount of tools that allow any Rogue player to do well in different scenarios. Access to StealthStealth lets you reposition and move as needed even if its use is minimal during combat. However, StealthStealth utility doesn't stop there as Soothing ShadowsSoothing Shadows allows for constant self healing between mob pulls while Draining PoisonDraining Poison helps with mana sustain.

As you progress and level up in this Rogue build, prioritize Escape VelocityEscape Velocity to enhance your movement speed while sprinting in combat (default key C). This becomes particularly valuable in the later stages of the game, enabling you to kite mobs during cooldowns or completely evade dangerous situations when necessary.

Subsequently, allocate points to Recuperation Training and Evasive ManeuverEvasive Maneuver to boost your evasion rate while dodging. This will also unlock SpringstepSpringstep, which dramatically improves mobility by extending the distance of your roll.

Finally, direct any remaining points toward the Guard Training branch to decrease stamina consumption while blocking (default key E). Adding Mental FortificationMental Fortification is also good, as it reduces the likelihood of being crowd-controlled (CC’d) while blocking.

  • Make sure to always start the fight like a true rogue and thats with Draining PoisonDraining Poison and positioned behind the enemy with StealthStealth.

First you should use Death's MarkDeath's Mark so once the target dies you also regenerate some HP, making it easier to chain kills. Use StabStab with extra damage by being behind the enemy, followed by ThrashThrash. Continue the rotation by using Acrobatic StrikeAcrobatic Strike once the mob turned to face you, this way you build the Advantage buff.

  • Cast DoublestrikeDoublestrike so it casts StabStab again for extra damage, spending Advantage. Use ThrashThrash again then continue with FeintFeint to boost resistance by increasing your evasion rate, using ThrashThrash one last time, applying bleed and making it easy to transition into LacerateLacerate to turn the bleeding debuff into Hemorrage for extra damage over time.

  • Start by using StealthStealth to get the Advantage buff before starting to gether mobs together using your bow. Once you've done that, use ThrashThrash to do some damage to a first mob.
  • Use Smoke BombSmoke Bomb to start ticking down enemy HP with the constant DPS done by the AOE smoke. Use ThrowThrow and ThrashThrash again to deal extra damage before using CaltropsCaltrops and forcing mobs to remain slowed. Use LacerateLacerate to deal damage and apply bleed to all stacked enemies, then use ThrashThrash (this one will do AOE Damage thanks to TrounceTrounce) and also apply Advantage again and use it on making KickKick hit all mobs, knocking them down and making it easier for you to follow up with Shadow CascadeShadow Cascade to debuff mobs even further.
  • Doing that will also grant you the TrounceTrounce buff, making it easy to follow up with FlurryFlurry for more AOE damage. Use FeintFeint to boost evasion rate and also gain Advantage once more. Use DoublestrikeDoublestrike to finish off the targets as it will cast LacerateLacerate.
