{{Rotation|Low Level AOE Burst Rotation|Enhance Armament: Weight, Hunt of the Tiger, Scatter Shot, Scatter Shot, Disengage}}
* While the rotation is incredibly easy to pull off, you should make sure to pull a group of mobs using your auto-attacks or using your bow to lure mobs more efficiently before using {{Skill|Brutal Cleave}} and {{Skill|Whirlwind}}. You can do this in the early game just after making your character, making it easy to level to 4 by simply AOE grinding the mobs in the starting zone. Keep in mind that once you unlock {{Skill|Climactic Whirlwind}}, you will have to angle yourself in such a way that the final hit hits multiple targets.
* First make sure that you have both {{Skill|Enhance Armament: Weight}} and {{Skill|Hunt of the Tiger}} active as it helps a great deal when kiting by staggering targets you hit. At the same time, {{Skill|Hunt of the Tiger}} greatly increases the crit damage you do.

{{Rotation|Single Target Rotation|Blitz, Rupture, Lunging Assault, Overpower, Wallop, Lethal Blow}}
* Start the rotation by pulling mobs through the use of your bow auto-attacks before lining them up so you hit all of them when using {{Skill|Scatter Shot}}. Having them in a line helps a great deal once you have {{Skill|Concentrated Scatter Shot}} active as the width of the skill doesn't reach too far. Finish the rotation with {{Skill|Disengage}} then either wait for cooldowns before doing another pull or regenerate your HP.
* This is your bread and butter rotation for single target DPS when leveling solo. Start with {{Skill|Blitz}} to build up quick Combat Momentum before continuing with {{Skill|Rupture}} to apply a bleed dot before transitioning to {{Skill|Lunging Assault}}.

* Continue the rotation with a hit of {{Skill|Overpower}} and then use {{Skill|Wallop}} to maximize the damage it does based on the amount of Combat Momentum stacks you gained throughout the rotation. The last skill in the rotation is {{Skill|Lethal Blow}} as its used to finish off a target with its high damage and also reset {{Skill|Blitz}} cooldown by using {{Skill|Reinvigorating Lethal Blow}}. Once upgraded with {{Skill|Consuming Lethal Blow}}, {{Skill|Lethal Blow}} also returns some of your HP and mana.
{{Rotation|Single Target DPS Rotation|Enhance Armament: Barbs, Bear Trap, Power Shot, Barrage, Snipe, Lightning Reload, Snipe, Thundering Shot, Headshot}}
* Make sure you are using {{Skill|Enhance Armament: Barbs}} for this before you use {{Skill|Bear Trap}} onto the ground between yourself and the enemy as you prepare to pull the mob in question. Use Barrage to apply Bleed then use {{Skill|Power Shot}} followed by {{Skill|Barrage}} and {{Skill|Snipe}} to deal very high damage before transitioning straight into {{Skill|Lightning Reload}} and following up with another {{Skill|Snipe}}.

{{Rotation|Extended AOE PVE Rotation|Form Of Celerity, Battle Cry, Brutal Cleave, Cataclysm, Maim, Lunging Assault, Lunging Assault, Leap Strike}}
* Continue the rotation with {{Skill|Thundering Shot}} and then {{Skill|Headshot}} once the target is below 50% HP as that will increase the damage you do with {{Skill|Headshot}}.
* Wait for the tank to pull mobs and stack them up before you start the rotation! Spend this time making sure that you are in {{Skill|Form Of Celerity}} before using {{Skill|Battle Cry}} to buff yourself and your allies followed by {{Skill|Brutal Cleave}} which will apply the Staggered thanks to {{Skill|Form Of Celerity}}.

* Continue the rotation using {{Skill|Cataclysm}} to deal high damage and and trip the targets. However, if you have a mage in your party, pay attention and wait for them to freeze the mobs so the damage done by {{Skill|Cataclysm}} is increased. Transition into {{Skill|Maim}} for extra damage before using {{Skill|Lunging Assault}} 2 times then finish the rotation with {{Skill|Leap Strike}}.
{{Rotation|High Level AOE Burst Rotation|Enhance Armament: Weight, Hunt of the Tiger, Scatter Shot, Scatter Shot, Air Strike, Thundering Shot, Raining Death, Lightning Reload, Raining Death}}
* First, ensure that both {{Skill|Enhance Armament: Weight}} and {{Skill|Hunt of the Tiger}} are active. These are very helpful for kiting, as {{Skill|Enhance Armament: Weight}} staggers the targets you hit, while {{Skill|Hunt of the Tiger}} significantly boosts your critical damage.

* Pull mobs with your bow auto-attacks before luring them together so you can use {{Skill|Scatter Shot}} two times and apply the Snare debuff thanks to {{Skill|Enhance Armament: Weight}}. Follow up with {{Skill|Air Strike}} and flip over the enemies, rooting them in place. Use {{Skill|Thundering Shot}} in order to apply the Shocked debuff and boost {{Skill|Raining Death}} damage to deal higher AOE damage.

* Use {{Skill|Lightning Reload}} and then use {{Skill|Raining Death}} again to finish off the rotation.

While leveling, make sure to also use the appropiate level consumables, starting with {{Item|Novice Scroll of Adventuring Experience}} at level 1 & {{Item|Apprentice Scroll of Adventuring Experience}} at level 10 before working up to {{Item|Journeyman Scroll of Adventuring Experience}} once you reach level 20. Level 20 is also where you can start using {{Item|Elixir of Strength}} for extra damage while {{Item|Fresh Salad}} can be used from level 1 to max while {{Item|Roasted Grem}} is another good choice if you can get access to it once you have the level requirement.

This Ranger build focuses on leveling up in Ashes of Creation quickly by making use of the incredible AOE DPS the Ranger offers, with skills like Scatter ShotScatter Shot and DisengageDisengage at early levels, making it easy to clear out groups of mobs without any real issues, grinding XP quickly. Even though this Ranger build requires good knowledge of how to kite, it can still be picked up and played well even by new players once you've gotten the hang of it.
