Overview

In this PVP build, you use the Mortal Rope DartMortal Rope Dart for its ability to deal high damage while also having a temporary pet that adds an extra attack whenever you use Light Attacks on a target. Using Bladebound ThreadBladebound Thread gives the option of pulling them into close range where you can dominate them with ease. Of course, the Nameless SpearNameless Spear adds great follow-up by using the Qiankun's LockQiankun's Lock in order to abuse the stun lock potential, letting you deal high damage as a follow-up. While this build is capable of doing good damage, the build can struggle with highly mobile targets and requires good practice and experience to play well versus those builds.

Seasonal EdgeSeasonal Edge is a fantastic Inner Way to add extra damage as you receive a buff every time you use Dual-Weapon SkillDual-Weapon Skill, making it a great choice for the build as you switch weapons often enough.

Morale ChantMorale Chant is one of the strongest PvP Inner Ways in Where Winds Meet, and is considered a core choice for most builds as it adds extra damage with every hit you land on an enemy. For PvP, you should take Trapped BeastTrapped Beast, as it provides an extra layer of defense by automatically activating whenever your HP is low enough.

With VendettaVendetta, whenever you use Bladebound ThreadBladebound Thread, you also apply a longer lasting Vendetta Token debuff, allowing your rat pet to deal increased damage for an extended duration.

Soaring Spin
Drunken Poet
Golden Body
Talon Strike
Dragon's Breath
Yaksha Rush

Dragon's BreathDragon's Breath is a core defensive skill and it also applies damage over time, and you can cancel its animation with Deflect to cut the animation short and not remain stuck in the animation. Once Dragon's BreathDragon's Breath is used the first time, you gain the Intoxicated buff and this is what allows you to cast the Dragon's BreathDragon's Breath instantly. Cloud StepsCloud Steps is extremely useful for engaging, disengaging, dodging incoming attacks. Keep in mind however that this can be blocked, so be careful how you use it.

Yaksha RushYaksha Rush can combo with Free MorphFree Morph so you can air juggle enemies into the air. You can also swap Yaksha RushYaksha Rush for Wolflike FrenzyWolflike Frenzy as it also combos perfectly with Free MorphFree Morph. Talon StrikeTalon Strike is yet another damage skill that does great damage but can also be used to CC, knocking down players quickly.

Another must-have is Serene BreezeSerene Breeze, which breaks you out of CC and enemy attack chains, letting you safely reset and get back into the fight. Golden BodyGolden Body is also a strong defensive option, giving you full CC immunity for its duration and helping you survive or even finish a fight when its getting close to a loss or if you are facing a build using Infernal TwinbladesInfernal Twinblades.
