Mortal Rope Dart & Panacea Fan PvP Build
- Good Heals
- Decent Range
- Good Utility
- Squishy
- Stationary
- Average Damage
Overview
This build focuses on the healing potential of the
Panacea Fan and its access to
Resurrection used in group PVP content where it performs the best, more than capable of aiding allies in small and larger group PVP scenarios. The
Mortal Rope Dart adds a bit of damage and mobility but also offers Fortitude (CC immunity), making it difficult to overwhelm as you can use the
Rodent's Resilience for protection and self-healing. While this build doesn't have enough damage to kill players quickly enough, it can out-sustain them while healing allies.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Rainwhisper + Moonflare set combo and make sure to keep the buff active by weaving in Heavy and Light attacks as needed. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Morale Chant is one of the best Inner Ways for boosting both damage and healing. It’s very easy to stack in this build because you use a lot of Light Attacks, and it also gains stacks from any healing you let out either on yourself or others.
Vendetta is another key part of the setup, since it helps you build Tokens of Gratitude and increases your damage by making the Vendetta Token from
Bladebound Thread last longer. You should also use
Seasonal Edge, as it gives you extra buffs whenever you swap weapons, and this build swaps weapons often, making it an obvious choice.
Mystic Skills
Leaping Toad &
Talon Strike are good for CC as they can be used to knock people down but
Talon Strike is tough to land and doesn't do very much damage.
Meridian Touch does good chip damage while also allowing you to execute from range by following up with it right after using the
Meridian Touch.
Serene Breeze is an incredibly important skill as it breaks you out of CC chains and allows you to make a comeback in a fight.
Cloud Steps is very strong for catching enemies off guard and closing the distance to the enemy.
Dragon's Breath is good for doing quick damage at the end of combos so you can add an extra dot on the target while also denying potential comebacks from them.
Cloud Steps is great for its extra mobility, letting you jump between targets while
Yaksha Rush goes through Block and can be used to settle a block hold.
Rotations
- While this build doesn't have much of a kill rotation, it can still catch enemies off guard and do good damage before forcing them off and kiting again. Use
Rodent's Resilience as the default for the Fortitude (CC Immunity) before using
Rodent Rampage to buff yourself.
- Catch an enemy with
Bladebound Thread when they are close, continuing the rotation into the Light Attack Chain before finishing by dotting up the enemy with
Dragon's Breath and blocking front attacks.
The strength of the build remains in its healing though and you should try to use
Emerald Dewtouch as much as possible to heal yourself and allies. Use
Cloudburst Healing for quick AOE healing and of course make sure to keep
Light Dust After Morning Rain up as much as you can.
