Overview
Strategic Sword combined with the
Soulshade Umbrella offers good self and small group healing thanks to the
Echoes of a Thousand Plants as it constantly heals whenever it is active (and you should have it active at all times). This is one of the top picks for those new players looking to get into the PVP side of the game. Having help from
Soulshade Umbrella to not struggle and have enough time to learn the way PVP works in Where Winds Meet.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Rainwhisper + Moonflare set combo and make sure to keep the buff active by weaving in Heavy and Light attacks as needed. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Morale Chant is one of the best Inner Ways for boosting both damage and healing, making it a must-have not just for this build but for most builds, as it’s currently the strongest Inner Way in Where Winds Meet. Along with that, another must-have is the
Sword Horizon which extends the the combos of the
Strategic Sword. Both
Inner Track Slash &
Inner Balance Strike III are improved and do considerably more damage this way.
With
Echoes of a Thousand Plants constantly healing, the
Morale Chant is very easy to keep stacked up. Another important Inner Way is the
Trapped Beast, granting a shield whenever your HP goes low, giving you more time to heal up and recover. Finally, the
Mending Loom is very powerful as it restores Dew and increases healing.
Mystic Skills
Leaping Toad can be used in many situations to knock down and deal damage and is one of the top choices as it can be used instead of block to get out of attack chains.
Talon Strike is a very good skill to get attention off you when you are being focused, knocking down enemies as needed.
Soaring Spin is a strong offensive skill as well, letting you push in and pressure players & debuff them, lowering healing on them.
Golden Body grants CC immunity and is one of the best Mystic Skills, helping you survive when you’re being focused in PVP.
Serene Breeze is one of the top Inner Ways for all PVP, freeing you from CC skills and saving your life.
Dragon's Breath be another good skill that has multiple uses but works particularly well in a defensive scenario where you can use it to block enemies attacking you from the front. This casts instantly after you've used it once and gotten the buff, so keep that in mind and try to keep the Intoxicated buff up as long as you can.
Ghostly Steps is also a great movement skill letting you move around easier.
Rotations
- Pop up your healing skill by
Echoes of a Thousand Plants so you can heal yourself and others. Then, swap to the
Strategic Sword with
Dual-Weapon Skill. Fish for a
Inner Track Slash to catch the enemy in it before continuing the combo with a full
Inner Balance Strike III. Be careful after this as they can comeback from this. If they don't though, go in again with
Soaring Spin then cancel out of second attack if needed in order to continue with
Talon Strike and another
Inner Balance Strike III.
Floating Grace: Use this in group settings as it buffs allies and increases damage done. You can also use it in 1vs1 arena but it can be difficult to time well.
Pale Petal: While it’s not a skill you need to prioritize, you can use it to keep enemies Exhausted when your allies pull them together or when your team needs help keeping enemies controlled.
