Thundercry Blade & Panacea Fan PvE Build
- Very Tanky
- Healing Skills
- Easy to Play
- Revive Potential
- Boring to play
- Slow
- Low Damage
Overview
Using
Thundercry Blade with
Panacea Fan creates one of the tankiest builds in Where Winds Meet, perfect for both solo play in the open world or as a tank in group PVE content against bosses. While the gameplay of this weapon combination is very slow, the damage is still potent enough to clear all content in Where Winds Meet without issues, giving you plenty of time to fight challenging bosses that might otherwise be too difficult for other builds. With the
Panacea Fan having access to
Resurrection, it makes this build particularly good in group play as it means you don't have to rely on others to revive party members.
Martial Arts
Gear
Stats Priority
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Rainwhisper + Moonflare set combo and make sure to keep the buff active by weaving in Heavy and Light attacks as needed. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Exquisite Scenery is a must-have because it gives the
Thundercry Blade extra speed, letting you deal damage without needing to fully charge your attacks as often.
Morale Chant is one of the best Inner Ways for boosting both damage and healing, and it’s easy to keep stacked while fighting.
Adaptive Steel increases the crit damage of your Charged Skills, like
Avalanche and
Galecloud Cleave, and
Battle Anthem adds even more damage on top of that.
Mystic Skills
Leaping Toad is a strong damage skill that hits fast and can be used up to three times for a big burst. When upgraded, it also adds an exploding poison effect that spreads to nearby enemies.
Drunken Poet is great for extra damage and works perfectly with
Dragon's Breath, since every hit triggers more burn explosions.
Dragon's Breath is already a powerful DoT skill with good starting damage, and after the first use it becomes instant-cast thanks to the Intoxicated buff.
Ghost Bind is a useful setup tool that CCs enemies, giving you time to follow up with skills like
Dragon's Breath for more damage. You can also use
Cloud Steps and
Guardian Palm to combo and deal high AOE damage wherever you land it.
Rotations
- The rotation is very simple. Use the
Predator's Shield to protect yourself from damage and channel
Sunrush Gale into a
Galecloud Cleave. Then, continue with
Avalanche to deal even more damage. Use
Cloudburst Healing to create an AOE healing zone around you to heal yourself and allies.
You can use
Emerald Dewtouch to heal yourself and allies too alongside
Light Dust After Morning Rain as needed.
