Vernal Umbrella & Panacea Fan PvE Build
- Decent Damage
- Great Range
- Easy to Play
- Revive
- Requires Setup
- High Skill Ceiling
- Squishy
Overview
This is one of the strongest ranged DPS + Healer combo capable of dealing good damage while still being more than capable of healing with the
Panacea Fan. The
Vernal Umbrella offers a great choice for those looking to play a ranged DPS build as it deals good damage without you having to come close to the boss which can be important in certain boss fights and in group PVE content. With the use of
Panacea Fan though, this build is more than capable of healing an entire party and more importantly, revive them too as the
Resurrection is one of, if not the most important skill to have in a PVE group.
Martial Arts
Gear
Stats Priority
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Blossom Barrage is a very strong pick for this build. It gives you an extra charge of
Spring Sorrow and also makes enemies take more damage from your attacks so it becomes an obvious choice.
Fivefold Bleed works great for passive damage. It adds extra bleed stacks over time without you needing to think about it, and it pairs very well with
Breaking Point, which boosts your damage even more, especially during longer fights. This combo adds a lot of damage, especially with
Morale Chant being one of the best Inner Ways in the game and cannot be skipped. Esentially, every hit increases your damage and healing.
Mystic Skills
For boss fights,
Leaping Toad is a very strong skill as it deals damage quickly. The poison damage builds over time, and once upgraded it spreads to nearby enemies and causes extra explosions if it lands on other mobs, adding AoE damage. When fighting groups,
Ghost Bind is strong for CC-ing them and continuing on without having to kill the mobs or simply use this before bursting them down.
For single targets,
Talon Strike is useful because it knocks enemies down, deals good Qi damage, and sets up follow ups like
Soaring Spin so you can finish them faster. For combo damage,
Dragon's Breath is very strong thanks to its burn effect. Using
Drunken Poet right after makes the burn explode on every hit, adding more burst damage while also recovering endurance at the cost of using viality to do damage.
Rotations
- Start close to the boss with the
Dragon's Breath to apply a dot that burns the boss over time. Use
Vernal Umbrella and launch the
Spring Sorrow to hit the enemy and buff yourself further before holding down
Spring Away to deal high damage. - Then, use
Unfading Flower to add extra DPS from the umbrella, refreshing
Dragon's Breath if needed before using
Drunken Poet to deal high damage while your endurance goes back up and you can do it all over again with
Spring Sorrow and
Spring Away.
Light Dust After Morning Rain: Use this to give a healing buff to yourself or teammates who are low on HP. When it turns into
Resurrection, you can also revive fallen allies and bring them back into the fight.
Cloudburst Healing: Place this near the boss or where your team is fighting to heal multiple allies at once. It works well at the start of a fight to pre heal, or during heavy boss mechanics to keep everyone alive.
The main way of healing allies though is through
Emerald Dewtouch spamming as needed, using it to top up allies easily.
