Overview
Longbow and Sword build for large-scale PvP which is perfect for newer players that want to get involved in large-scale PvP as its very easy to play and generally cannot harm a zerg by being played badly. It's role is to help the zerg by providing defensive buffs and by pulling enemy players that are out of position into the reach of your team while you remain relatively protected.
Attributes
With this build you want to maximize your HP and resistances which 30 points into dexterity and 30 points into strength will help you achieve that. The remaining 9 points can go into perception. This build doesn't focus as much on dealing damage as it focuses on helping setup kills for other players in your zerg.

With only a few of the Sword abilities being used, you want to prioritize bow skills when upgrading your active abilities. Zephyr's Nock,
Decisive Sniping, and
Ensnaring Arrow are your primary abilities, enhancing their damage significantly. These will allow you to constantly poke the enemy and be annoying.
Strafing, one of your earliest rare abilities and is your best ability for poking the enemy with damage, being a nuisance against the enemy frontline or picking up low HP targets on the side.
Counter Barrier stands out as your most crucial defensive ability. Upgrading it first is strongly advised, as it enables you to counter both ranged and magic attacks effectively. Additionally,
Chain Hook gains the ability to bind a target once it reaches epic grade, functioning similarly to
Ensnaring Arrow in this regard.
Provoking Roar complements both
Spectrum of Agony and
Skillful Evasion, providing additional damage while also enhancing your defensive capabilities.

Regarding passives, this build incorporates several high-level ones, which are relatively more affordable to upgrade but not as economical as other weapon combinations. The primary aim is to enhance damage potential, with passives such as Distorted Sanctuary and
Devoted Shield providing some defensive capabilities.
Skillful Evasion comes into play whenever you are near an enemy, the passive gets considerably boosted if you also provoke the targets! All targets provoked will also be subjected to damage from
Spectrum of Agony on top of whatever damage your abilities do. Because of skills like File:Stafing.webp
Stafing that can be used in quick succession, the target will remain provoked for a long period of time because of the epic effect on the
Spectrum of Agony passive.
Steady Aim amplifies the additional damage achievable with an upgraded
Zephyr's Nock after ensnaring an enemy with
Ensnaring Arrow or an upgraded
Chain Hook, while and
Sniper's Sense further increase your damage based on your distance from the target.

Investing 9 points in the Boss row is a straightforward decision as it provides you with extra PVE defenses tailored for fighting bosses, along with some additional health. The remaining 3 points will be allocated to Provoke & Counter for further defense.
Longbow:
Allocate 9 points into Sniping for its substantial damage boost. Then, invest the remaining 3 points into Check for additional damage and bind chance, which will aid your Ensnaring Arrow skill, making it easier to begin your rotation.

- This rotation prioritizes drawing in a target using
Chain Hook and immobilizing them. Immediately cast
Blitz to reset your
Chain Hook cooldown. Follow up by debuffing with
Deadly Marker, then use
Zephyr's Nock to inflict high damage while the target remains bound by
Chain Hook. Finish off the target with
Strafing unless your team's damage output is slow and the target is already eliminated.

- This rotation shares similarities with the previous one. However, it leverages the combination of
Provoking Roar and
Spectrum of Agony to unleash high burst damage using
Brutal Arrow and
Zephyr's Nock on a stationary, rooted target. Follow up with
Strafing for additional damage, and consider using
Decisive Sniping if the target attempts to move away.
Counter Barrier: Activate this skill when you begin to draw focused attention. Utilize your defense skill to reflect damage when you're under pressure or when an engagement doesn't go as planned.
Stalwart Bastion: Use this ability when initiating a push with your team or when being pushed by the enemy. It's usually requested by your shotcaller, but you can also initiate it yourself if your shotcaller doesn't issue the command.
Brutal Arrow: Your only AoE damaging ability worth mentioning. Try to use this whenever you see a group of enemies pulled together. You can pair it well with
Blitz unless you used it already for resetting
Chain Hook.
Nature's Blessing: Used whenever you need a bit more HP or after a push to help your group with health regen and also improve mana regeneration. Keep in mind that it pairs very well with
Inner Peace!
Useful Information
- Choose Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it offers crucial protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only helps mitigate damage but also boosts your cooldown speed, allowing you to pull enemies using
Chain Hook more frequently.
