Mortal Rope Dart & Nameless Spear PvE Build
- Good DPS
- Great CC
- Easy to Play
- Very Stationary
- No Utility
Overview
For this PVE build, you have to combine
Mortal Rope Dart for its ability to deal high damage while also having a temporary pet that adds an extra attack whenever you use Light Attacks on a target alongside
Nameless Spear. While the
Nameless Spear adds extra CC (Crowd Control) through
Qiankun's Lock, it also offers good steady damage with the combo of
Legion Crusher to decrease the wind-up time of
Storm Dance. While this build has low mobility and requires standing still to do damage with skills like the
Storm Dance, it is still very powerful and a great choice for new players looking to enjoy all the content in Where Winds Meet.
Martial Arts
Inner Way
Seasonal Edge is a great Inner Way for adding extra damage, since you gain a damage buff every time you use
Dual-Weapon Skill. This fits the build well because you switch weapons often.
Morale Chant is one of the strongest Inner Ways in Where Winds Meet. It increases your damage based on how many hits you land and can stack up to five times for a big boost. You can also use
Breaking Point to gain extra damage by increasing your physical penetration.
With
Vendetta, every time you use
Bladebound Thread you apply a longer lasting Vendetta Token. This lets your rat pet deal increased damage for a longer period of time alongside your Light Attacks.
Mystic Skills
Dragon's Breath is one of the core skills in the game, providing strong and easy-to-maintain DoT damage that can be refreshed frequently during fights. After applying the burn, use Deflect to cancel the animation and resume attacking immediately. You can pair this perfectly with
Drunken Poet in order to deal more damage and also trigger the
Dragon's Breath debuff into an explosion.
Ghost Bind is a solid option for AoE crowd-control (CC), grouping mobs together so you can follow up with other skills as needed, while it isn't useable on bosses, it can still be very strong, particularly in solo open world content.
Soaring Spin does great damage and can be used on cooldown to boost overall DPS.
Rotations
- Use
Dragon's Breath before buffing up yourself up with
Rodent Rampage to get your rat out. Then, use
Bladebound Thread and Light Attacks so your damage is synced with the rat damage until the buff ends and the rat goes away. Swap into the
Nameless Spear with
Dual-Weapon Skill and use
Leaping Toad.
- Continue the rotation with
Legion Crusher to lower the wind-up of
Storm Dance before refreshing the
Dragon's Breath debuff and continuing on with
Drunken Poet so you can regain some stamina while still doing great damage.
