Nameless Sword & Inkwell Fan PvE Build
- Good Mobility
- Good Range
- Easy to Play
- Great Damage
- Squishy
Overview
The
Nameless Sword adds strong mobility to the setup. With a simple damage combo that relies on endurance, the
Nameless Sword is the main DPS option for the build, capable of carrying the entire build on its back even if only using it alongside Mystic Skills.
The
Inkwell Fan offers good damage from range and lets you do damage even if you aren't close enough to the boss. Using
Jadewind Shield lets you block out enemies and force them to go around the
Jadewind Shield while
Peak's Springless Silence offers mobility and a way to airjuggle mobs.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
You want to use
Breaking Point to add good extra damage when the boss is exhausted, helping DPS tremendously without having to think too much about it.
To strengthen potential DPS further,
Sword Morph is an important pick. It adds extra hits to
Vagrant Sword, turning it into a very powerful skill when used either after a full
Daunting Strike combo or after
Shadow Step once you've upgraded
Sword Morph.
An obvious choice in most builds,
Morale Chant cannot be skipped in this one either. Each successful hit increases your overall damage, making it one of the most effective Inner Ways for steady DPS gain.
You can finish the setup with
Seasonal Edge, which provides a damage boost when swapping weapons and helps maintain consistent pressure throughout your rotations.
Mystic Skills
For group control,
Ghost Bind is one of the most effective tools. It gathers enemies into a tight area, making it easy for you or your teammates to land wide AoE attacks.
When dealing with single targets,
Talon Strike offers reliable crowd control by knocking enemies down. It sets up quick follow-ups like
Soaring Spin and also helps break a mob’s Qi bar so you can finish them off efficiently.
To apply steady pressure against bosses,
Leaping Toad is a strong option. Its poison damage ramps up over time, and once upgraded, it spreads to nearby enemies and causes multiple explosive hits, giving it useful AoE reach.
For combo damage,
Dragon's Breath works well thanks to its lasting burn effect. When chained into
Drunken Poet, each hit triggers additional burn explosions, increasing overall damage while giving you time to recover stamina between strikes.
Rotations
- Use the
Peak's Springless Silence to close the distance to the boss first.
- Then, apply dots to the boss with both
Dragon's Breath and
Leaping Toad, stacking up on the boss to deal damage while you do the rest of the rotation. Use
Daunting Strike until you gain a shield, then fully charge
Vagrant Sword to release additional energy waves. Re-apply
Dragon's Breath and make sure it keeps ticking before going into
Drunken Poet.
