Strategic Sword & Inkwell Fan PvE Build
- Good Range
- Good Damage
- Easy to Play
- Boring to Play
- Off-meta
Overview
The
Inkwell Fan brings valuable mobility and range damage while also giving the air juggling potential. Its access to
Jadewind Shield adds another way of controlling enemies while gaining a range damage buff you can use if you want to wait for endurance regen or just DPS from range.
Either way,
Strategic Sword is the main source of damage.
Inner Track Slash delivers a strong multi-hit damage, and this is pushed even further with
Sword Horizon, which extends the combo.
Inner Balance Strike III adds more of the same in a long damage combo thats impossible to ignore and rivals the
Nameless Sword. This is a great build for those looking to play a hybrid in Where Winds Meet, capable of doing damage from range while also jumping in and out of melee range.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
To keep good damage going in long fights,
Morale Chant is your main DPS choice. Every hit you land increases your power, so it stays strong the longer you fight. For extending your
Strategic Sword combos,
Sword Horizon is very important. It boosts your sword damage and makes your full combo chain smoother and stronger.
If you want extra damage over time,
Fivefold Bleed is a good pick. It adds a bleed effect that keeps hurting the target during long battles. To finish the setup,
Seasonal Edge gives you a small damage boost each time you switch weapons, helping you keep pressure on the enemy without extra effort.
Mystic Skills
For groups of enemies,
Ghost Bind is one of the best skills because it pulls them together so big AoE skills hit easily. Against single enemies,
Talon Strike works well since it knocks them down, lets you follow up with things like
Soaring Spin, and helps break their Qi bar. For boss fights,
Leaping Toad is a strong choice because its poison gets stronger over time and, when upgraded, spreads and creates explosive hits for extra AoE. For combos,
Dragon's Breath is great thanks to its burn effect, and using
Drunken Poet right after it gives you more burn explosions and lets you recover stamina while still dealing good damage.
Rotations
- This rotation is very simple as it uses the
Peak's Springless Silence to jump onto a target before using
Moon Shatter Spring to deal some airborne damage (skip this if its a boss) and just use
Dragon's Breath to apply a fire dot on the boss.
- Then use
Inner Track Slash full combo into 2x
Inner Balance Strike III full combo. Continue with
Drunken Poet for extra damage and to pop the burn dot into multiple explosions that deal high damage.
