Strategic Sword & Panacea Fan PvE Build
- Great Damage
- Easy to Play
- Good Heals
- Low-ish damage
- Low Mobility
Overview
Using the
Strategic Sword together with the
Panacea Fan creates one of the strongest self-healing solo PVE builds in Where Winds Meet. The
Strategic Sword alone already has enough damage to clear every part of the game, thanks to its long combos, steady bleed buildup, and the natural downtime it gives you to weave in Mystic Skills for extra DPS like using the
Dragon's Breath and
Drunken Poet.
When you add the
Panacea Fan to this setup, the build becomes much safer and lets you make a lot more mistakes. You gain healing during boss fights, which reduces how often you need potions and makes mistakes far less punishing. This combo lets you keep fighting without having to pull back every time you take a hit.
In group content, the
Panacea Fan becomes even more important. Its strong healing skills help keep your whole team alive, and
Resurrection allows you to bring dead allies back into the fight. On top of that,
Cloudburst Healing provides reliable AoE healing during boss encounters, making the build extremely valuable in parties.
Martial Arts
Gear
Stats Priority
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Morale Chant is still one of the strongest Inner Ways, giving you steady damage and good healing at the same time. It’s also very easy to keep stacked in this build.
Fivefold Bleed is another key option, adding extra bleed damage to your
Strategic Sword combos and helping you deal more DPS without extra effort.
To improve the
Strategic Sword,
Sword Horizon is amazing because it extends your overall damage output and keeps your pressure going as it increases combos. And for more healing,
Restoring Blossom is great too.
Mystic Skills
The main way of dealing damage with Mystic Skills is the
Dragon's Breath and
Drunken Poet combo as it puts a burning dot effect on the target, dealing damage over time while also using no endurance as you use
Drunken Poet to blow up the target.
Ghost Bind stays one of your strongest AoE CC skills but you can swap for something else too. For fast single-target clearing,
Wolflike Frenzy works very well because it deals high damage to a single target quickly without needing much setup and you can follow up with
Free Morph.
Leaping Toad is a great pick, dealing good damage while also offering some AOE damage once upgraded as the poison spreads, making it easy to burst groups of mobs.
Rotations
- While this isn't a complex rotation, it gets much better once you've unlocked and started using
Sword Horizon. Begin the rotation by using
Dragon's Breath to stack up fire damage over time. Begin with
Inner Track Slash full combo straight into
Inner Balance Strike III for an extended combo. Easy as that is, continue by re-applying
Dragon's Breath and spamming
Drunken Poet to keep dealing damage without spending endurance.
Cloudburst Healing: Ideal for situations where several allies need healing at once. Place it on the ground whenever group healing is required or just use it in the beginning of boss fights.
Light Dust After Morning Rain: Use this to apply a healing buff to yourself and to an ally who is running low on health. When it transforms into
Resurrection, it also allows you to revive dead teammates.
