Crossbow + Longbow Large Scale PvP Build
- High Sustained DPS
- Easy to Play
- Squishy
- Group Reliant
- Low Movement
Overview
Longbow and Crossbow build for large-scale PvP which plays a crucial role in the backline of any zerg. Its capability to consistently deal ranged DPS and apply pressure on the enemy team is indispensable. Although it may not excel in 1v1 encounters, it can still fend for itself well enough to buy time for teammates to provide assistance if caught out of position.
Attributes
You want to maximizing damage output as it is crucial for this build, making Dexterity and Perception the primary attributes to focus on. While it doesn't make a big difference which one you pick first, both remain equally important in the end game. By allocating points into these stats, you can significantly enhance your damage potential, ensuring that you can swiftly deal with targets on the battlefield. The cost to invest 30 points in one attribute is high so it's preferred for you to start investing in Wisdom for extra mana regeneration which can be beneficial to sustain your abilities during prolonged engagements, although the primary focus should remain on maximizing damage through Dexterity and Perception.
Skills
Skill Priority
Given that this build relies heavily on abilities obtained early in the game, it can be quite expensive to upgrade everything. It's advisable to focus on this build from the start of your adventure in Throne and Liberty, utilizing the free books obtained from completing the main story. Prioritize upgrading Quick Fire, Zephyr's Nock, Decisive Sniping, and Ensnaring Arrow as they are your primary abilities, enhancing their damage significantly for easier PvP kills. Strafing, is one of your earliest rare abilities and a powerful skill that gets used a lot and only gets better when upgraded to epic.
Once your offensive abilities are upgraded, shift your focus to utility by improving Health & Mana regen with Nature's Blessing. Selfless Diffusion not only provides an escape from roots but also increases your off-hand weapon attack chance, making it a valuable ability alongside Thorn Gale, which is initially epic.
Passives Priority
As far as passives go, this build utilizes a decent amount of high level ones and that for is considerably cheaper to upgrade but not as cheap as other weapon combinations. The main goal is to improve damage potential while passives like Distorted Sanctuary and Devoted Shield offer some defensive capabilities. Steady Aim boosts the extra damage you can achieve with an upgraded Zephyr's Nock after entrapping an enemy with Ensnaring Arrow while Eagle Vision and Sniper's Sense boost your damage further based on how far away you are from the target.

Crossbow:
Allocate 9 points into Chain Fire to boost your raw damage output and improve your ability to secure kills. Invest the remaining 3 points into Regen to increase Amitoi Heal amount by an additional 6%.
Longbow:
Allocate 9 points into Sniping for its substantial damage boost. Then, invest the remaining 3 points into Check for additional damage and bind chance, which will aid your Ensnaring Arrow skill, making it easier to begin your rotation.
Rotations
- The ranged DPS rotation is tailored for single target elimination, your primary role within a zerg. Initiate your rotation with Deadly Marker to apply a debuff on your target, followed by buffing yourself with Thorn Gale, allowing subsequent skills to deliver an additional projectile upon landing. Ensnaring Arrow sets up your target for the high damage output of Zephyr's Nock, further boosted by Steady Aim. Utilize Blitz to reset Zephyr's Nock, then repeat its usage while your target remains immobilized before transitioning into Strafing. If the target still lives and you're still at a safe distance, use Decisive Sniping to ensure its demise.
Weak Point Shot: You can use this ability instead of Deadly Market asi t offers a similar buff to your damage but it also extends to your other party members.
Selfless Diffusion: This remains your only defensive active ability, perfect for situations where you get immobilized by bow users using Ensnaring Arrow or if a foe with an upgraded Shadow Strike targets you.
Brutal Arrow: Your only AOE damaging ability worth mentioning. Try to use this whenever you see a group of enemies pulled together. You can pair it well with Blitz for extra damage but it still doesn't compare to Infernal Meteor.
Nature's Blessing: Used whenever you need a bit more HP or after a push to help your group with health regen and also improve mana regeneration. Keep in mind that it pairs very well with Inner Peace!
Useful Information
- Select Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides essential protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only aids in mitigating damage but also increases your cooldown speed in order to let you cast your abilities more often.
