Dagger + Staff Large Scale PvP Build
- High Burst Damage
- High AoE Damage
- High Skill Floor
Overview
Staff and Dagger build for large-scale PvP that provides high AoE burst damage, utilizing dagger abilities for protection or stealth as needed. It excels at securing numerous kills during prolonged skirmishes at riftstones or other PvP events, making it an essential addition to any guild's zerg lineup.
Attributes
For this build, prioritize allocating points into Dexterity and Perception, aiming to reach 30 in both stats to enhance your damage output as that is the main strength of this build. The rest of the points can be allocated into wisdom for some extra mana and mana regen but wisdom shouldn't be the focus at all as this build doesn't have any issues with mana sustain.
Skills
Skill Priority
Due to its reliance on higher-level abilities, this build remains relatively affordable and accessible, even for those that don't normally play Dagger or Staff. It's a solid choice for players looking to contribute to their guild's large-scale PvP efforts. Prioritize leveling Serial Fire Bombs, Chain Lightning, and Shadow Strike to rare quality, with Shadow Strike being particularly crucial for binding targets for Brutal Incision. Frost Smokescreen should be the last ability you upgrade to Rare, offering valuable mobility with the ability to use it twice when upgraded.
When it comes to epic upgrades, prioritize upgrading the same abilities, but Frost Smokescreen can take a back seat and be upgraded later. Brutal Incision and Inferno Wave should be upgraded as soon as possible due to their significant damage increase. Inferno Wave benefits greatly from the epic level Serial Fire Bombs, which apply 2 stacks of burning with each hit.
Passives Priority
Upgrading passives remains relatively inexpensive, with only a few skills requiring upgrades. However, it's crucial not to neglect them. Prioritize upgrading Assassin's Instincts and Flame Condensation for additional damage, while the other passives focus on boosting your defenses.

Staff:
To maximize damage output, allocate 9 points into Destroy for significant skill damage increase through Weapon Masteries. Then, invest 3 points into Attribute for an additional boost, granting 10% extra Burning Damage.
Dagger: Allocate 3 points into Assassination for increased Off-hand Weapon activation chance, which is beneficial. However, prioritize investing 9 points into Disguise for valuable defensive passives, crucial for survivability during prolonged zerg fights.
Rotations
- This rotation emphasizes positioning over everything else. First, find a cluster of enemies who are distracted or regrouping. Utilize High Locus to enter stealth via Camouflage Cloak. If you're unable to reach them swiftly, use Shadow Strike to bridge the gap. Next, activate Block Blade to stealth yourself once more, immediately followed by casting Infernal Meteor for high AoE damage. While the spell is casting, apply damage buffs from your hotbar. Finish off weakened targets with Inferno Wave, Ice Spear (to apply frost using Frost Master), and Judgment Lightning before you either die or your team pushes through, making use of your engagement.
- This rotation applies pressure to an out-of-position enemy or simply inflicts damage on demand. Start by using Shadow Strike to immobilize the target, setting them up for Brutal Incision. Then, unleash Serial Fire Bombs for sustained damage and to apply stacks of burning. Consider using Frost Smokescreen for repositioning before using Serial Fire Bombs, although it's not always necessary. Inferno Wave does high damage based on the stacsk of burning already existing on the target. Finally, finish them off with with Chain Lightning and Judgment Lightning to finish off the target.
- This is your shortest AOE DPS rotation to use on groups of targets while your Infernal Meteor is on cooldown. Starting with Ice Spear applies the Frosted debuff to targets it hits which spreads the damage of Chain Lightning and Judgment Lightning to nearby enemies.
High Locus: You want to use this ability on cooldown before starting up a rotation in order to lower the cooldowns of your abilities constantly.
Infernal Meteor: You should use this whenever the chance appears instead of just following a rotation. Try to keep your eyes on your frontline players as they engage the enemies and see where enemies are grouped so you can deliver damage.
Useful Information
- Select Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides essential protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only aids in mitigating damage but also increases your cooldown speed in order to let you damage more often.
