Fury - Crossbow + Wand Large Scale PvP Build
- Great Damage
- Can Heal itself & Others
- Squishy
- Low Mobility
- Off-meta
Overview
This Crossbow and Wand large-scale PvP build is perfect for DPS players that are also looking to support their teams and heal themselves between fights, acting as a support player whenever they aren't blasting everyone with high AOE burst damage. The use of Merciless Barrage allows you to pick up kills on unsuspecting enemies while your strong healing abilities allow you to heal your teammates during the times when you aren't actively fighting. Even though this is an off-meta build, it is very capable as the access to Cursed Nightmare offers great engage and play potential for both yourself and your team.
Attributes
For this build, focus on Perception and Dexterity as your main stats to maximize damage output. These attributes are key early on and should continue to be prioritized as you improve your gear, boosting critical hit rate, accuracy, and range. Strength and Wisdom are secondary but still useful: Strength increases health for added durability and is preferred to reach at least 30 points for extra HP. Wisdom supports mana regeneration but its less important.
Skills
The combination of Quick Fire & Mortal Mark is well known for it's damage potential and should be the upgraded quickly alongside Merciless Barrage as they are your main source of DPS. Nimble Leap is another good upgrade to keep in mind as it increases your critical hit damage (not rate) and also lowers its cooldown, pairing even better by resetting the Quick Fire cooldown whenever Nimble Leap is used. Make sure to upgrade Selfless Diffusion for the extra off-hand weapon attack chance while Mother Nature's Protest should always be active when you are actively PVPing as it adds passive extra damage.
Once you are done upgrading the main DPS skills to epic, start focusing on your healing and support skills: Clay's Salvation & Fountain of Life are great for healing yourself and your team while Invincible Wall is fantastic when used before taking high burst damage.
Your main DPS passives that you should also prioritize are: Ambidexterity & Eagle Vision but also Nature's Power and Piercing Strike. Leveling up these passives early will help a great deal when advancing your character to max level. The healing passives shouldn't be ignored though! Both Devotion and Emptiness and Noble Revival greatly increase your healing capabilities.
Equipment
These are the first items you should strive for through the leveling period as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup before you start changing pieces into the Midgame. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples. The same goes for the blue ring as you keep it for a long time.
This is the gear you should transition to once you're leveled to 50 and start grinding gear. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by completing Litographs, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important and should be your main focus.
This is the current endgame gear you should aim for, and while it isn't easy to acquire, it offers great power without the need of acquiring archboss gear pieces. However, items like Tevent's Fangs of Fury or other archboss weapons are superior but difficult to acquire for the majority of players. If you do manage to get the archboss weapons for your build, feel free to use them over the weapons shown here.

Wand: Put 9 points in Weaken to increase overall damage. Spend 9 points on Recovery to reduce cooldowns and improve your sustain. The last 1 point should go into Damage to further enhance your damage output.
Crossbow: Invest 9 points in Chain Fire to boost your damage and improve your kill potential. Next, put 9 points into Move to increase your damage and movement speed. The remaining point should go into Regen for better health regeneration.
Rotations
- This is your main damage rotation in Large Scale PVP. Start by making sure you have Mother Nature's Protest active before beginning to look for an opportunity to catch multiple enemies stacked together. You can use the AOE Sleep rotation to catch enemies but you can also just walk up and use this combo on its own!
- Make sure you use a quick Nimble Leap to increase range before using Merciless Barrage to wipe out the group you caught.
- This combo is easy to perform but depends on staying close to enemies. Look for grouped-up enemies during a clash between your own zerg and your enemies. Pick a target in the crowd, use Cursed Nightmare to put them to sleep, then activate Karmic Haze to spread the sleep effect to nearby enemies, creating an opening for your team or yourself.
Selfless Diffusion: This is your main escape tool for when you want to get away from someone but it also helps with lowering your cooldowns so make sure to use it before major damage rotations as much as possible or as emergency escape.
Mana Exchange: Due to the many healing abilities and Mother Nature's Protest being a core part of this build, Mana Exchange should be used very frequently. Make sure to use this when your mana is around 50% and always try to stay above 20% mana. However, there is a secondary use for this build and that is to clear CCs, letting you move out of CC whenever you cast this skill.
