Important NPCs and Merchants

Contract Manager is one of the NPCs you will interact with on a daily basis. These NPCs can be found only in smaller settlements. Their main purpose is giving you daily contracts in a region of your choice. In lower level regions the contracts they provide will give lower rewards which are fit for the region. At level 50 you want to do highest level contracts which can be obtained in Purelight Hill, which gives contracts for Purlight Hill and Shattered Temple regions, Watcher’s Post which gives contracts for Ruins of Thurayne and Fonos Basin and Canina Village which gives contracts for Greyclaw Forest and Akido Valley.

After completing contracts another daily NPC you will interact with is a Contract coin merchant. They are only found in 3 main cities, Kastleton, Vienta Village and Stoneguard castle. Their purpose is allowing you to spend contract coins for various daily and weekly items. Daily, You are mostly interested in blessing pouches, fish bait and mystic keys, while rune hammers and trait extraction stones and enchanted ink will be items you want to grab each week.

Sundries merchant is an NPC that can be found in all small settlements and big cities. Each week you will want to buy Allied resistance forces contracts, which are contracts for open world dungeons and a taedal tower. World tree leafs used by amitois to heal your character and stellarite for increased damage when equipped on a weapon will be your go to items once you spend them. Most of the common ingredients needed for many recipes can be purchased at sundries merchant, while every day you will want to buy all the daily limit ingredients as well.

Storage manager is also found in every big city and small settlement and its purpose is very simple. It stores all the items and materials you do not want to carry in your inventory. The storage inventory can be expanded by using sollant and it doesn’t require lucent like inventory space expansion.

Guild merchant is an NPC that can be found in all 3 main cities and the main requirement to use it is being in a guild that is level 2 or above. It offers daily and weekly items that you will want to spend based on your needs by spending guild coins which are acquired through completing guild contracts and guild donations. Recovery crystals, Polished crystals and trait conversion stones are 3 main items you will spend your guild coins on.

In Throne and Liberty there are 5 crafter NPCs, which are located in 3 big cities. They all have the same purpose, but they also have 1 big difference. In Kastelton all 5 crafters can only craft green items, in Vienta Village blue and in Stoneguard castle Purple items. Meaning that you will most of the time want to use stoneguard castle as a main hub. Weapon, armor and accessories CRAFTER NPCs are the same but also different. They are different in a sense where weapon crafter can craft weapons and weapon materials, armor crafter can craft all 6 armor pieces and armor materials, while accessories crafter can craft all 5 types of accessories and accessories materials. All 3 crafters are the same as everything else that is available for crafting can be crafted at any of the 3.

Senior skills researcher is an NPC where you will craft skill books and materials needed for crafting skill books, which will then be used to upgrade your skills.

Sundries crafter is used for crafting weekly allied resistance forces contracts from materials gained by dissolving weekly contracts, for crafting better fishing rods and stellarite boxes, but most importantly, you will use this NPC to craft precious purification stone, which is pretty much a trinket that removes all the CC and has a 2 minute cooldown.

While on the topic of crafters there are also 2 wandering merchants that can craft blue tier weapons by using special materials obtained in open world dungeons. One wandering merchant uses this path and eventually ends up in vienta village, while the second wandering merchant uses this path and also ends up in vienta village.

For all the PVP players, einar priestes will be your first NPC you will want to interact with everytime you die in PVP and respawn. Dying in PVP removes exp, and also gives you a stacking debuff that can become a huge problem in PVP if you do not clean it at this NPC. You have free daily restorations available, and also 2 options of using restoration coins or sollant to clean your death stack debuff.
