Infiltrator - Longbow + Dagger Large Scale PvP Build
- High AOE Damage
- Easy to Play
- Great Utility
- Squishy
- Requires Good Positioning
Overview
This Longbow and Dagger build is designed large Scale PvP and working as an AOE DPS capable of high burst AOE damage through the use of Flash Arrow and delivering quick CC in every fight with Arrow Vortex. The access to stealth through Camouflage Cloak offers great survivability and allows you to easily reposition in team fights or flank for a well executed Arrow Vortex. With it's straightforward playstyle, it's the perfect build for new players and veterans alike as any guild can value such a useful build.
Attributes
Focus on Dexterity and Perception to maximize your damage potential, aiming to hit breakpoints when possible. However, Strength also provides a much-needed HP boost that goes a long way in large scale PVP where survivability is very important so 30 points into strength are a great choice from a combination of gear and attributes. Wisdom isn't worth investing into though, as it provides only minor damage and mana regeneration.
Skills
Your main burst AOE damage comes from Flash Arrow, Decisive Sniping and Brutal Arrow, and these are the skills you should upgrade early for large scale PVP. Arrow Vortex is your main CC that allows your entire team to push through the enemy zerg and also allows you to land Flash Arrow easier. Keep in mind however that this skill is a Fury Attack and can be deflected by tanks.
Do not forget to also level your utility skills like Camouflage Cloak and Phantom Smokescreen as the stealth is fantastic for flanking while Phantom Smokescreen can deny a crossbow player coming in to use Merciless Barrage.
Wrathful Edge and Assassin's Instincts are your main damage increasing passives as they increase crit rate and crit damage while Devoted Shield and Shadow Walker are fantastic defensive passives. Your movement speed is then increased by getting kills and making use of Assassin's Step.
Rapidfire Stance is a very powerful passive to increase your hit chance but you don't have to upgrade it too early as it only improves attack speed when upgrading.
Equipment
These are the first items you should strive for through the leveling period as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup before you start changing pieces into the Midgame. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples. The same goes for the blue ring as you keep it for a long time.
This is the gear you should transition to once you're leveled to 50 and start grinding gear. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by completing Litographs, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important and should be your main focus.
This is the current endgame gear you should aim for, and while it isn't easy to acquire, it offers great power without the need of acquiring archboss gear pieces. However, items like Tevent's Fangs of Fury or other archboss weapons are superior but difficult to acquire for the majority of players. If you do manage to get the archboss weapons for your build, feel free to use them over the weapons shown here.

Longbow: Allocate 9 points into Sniping for a substantial boost in damage and critical damage. Then, invest 9 points into Support to boost resistance as extra skill damage resistance is very strong in PVP and you also get extra Perception. Last point goes into Check.
Dagger:
Invest 9 points in Disguise to greatly improve your evasion rate, which is also the reason why you should be using daggers as the primary weapon. The remaining 9 points can be added into assassination to greatly increase your damage too. The last point for the Dagger mastery tree is then invested into Poison.
Rotations
- Start up by using Arrow Vortex to CC a group of enemies directly in front and pop them into the air, CC-ing them all. Follow up with Flash Arrow to deal a high burst AOE directly in front, make sure however that you chage the skill as much as possible to maximize damage. Reset your cooldown with Blitz.
- If you can find another stack of enemies, use Flash Arrow again and follow up with Brutal Arrow along with Decisive Sniping to clean up any remaining clumps of enemies.
- This rotation is meant to pin down and kill enemies quickly. Use Ensnaring Arrow to bind your target and increase the damage you do to them before using Strafing and Zephyr's Nock to burst them down. Wait the short cooldown of Zephyr's Nock then use it again.
- You can also use Decisive Sniping before Strafing, however, it is better to use Decisive Sniping in a clump of enemies instead to rake up more kills.
Camouflage Cloak: This ability acts as your escape route. Trigger it when you're being targeted or require a change in position. It can also aid in resetting the fight and cooldowns after scoring kills. There are many ways to use stealth though, so don't hesitate to experiment. It can also be used to push through as you become immune to CC for 3 seconds when using it, allowing you to reposition through the battlefield.
Phantom Smokescreen: Use this skill to protect yourself from enemy damage and especially Merciless Barrage as they cannot hit you through this skill.
Ensnaring Arrow: This is the skill you should use followed up by Strafing and Zephyr's Nock in order to punish enemies that are out of position or otherwise trying to engage on your group.
Healing Touch: Use it to heal yourself between fights and to remain alive whenever your healer/s can't reach you or between regroups!
Useful Information
- Pale Nemesis Hartach is a good alternative for the guardian as it allows you to stealth and guarantee critical hits, essentially working as another Camouflage Cloak.
