- Easy to Play
- Versatile
- Self Healing
- Squishy
- No utility
Overview
This Longbow and Dagger build is designed for solo PvP but it also does very well in small scale PvP. With it's straightforward playstyle, it's the perfect build for new players as it is quite easy to play once you've mastered it's rotations. With its high damage potential and oppressive CCs, this build controls any fight and if played correctly, can win versus all matchups in the game.
Attributes
In order to maximizing your damage potential, invest most points into Dexterity and Perception, aiming to push them first as they offer much needed hit rate and critical hit rate along with flat damage. You should also improve your Strength in order to improve your survivability, 30 is a good breakpoint to reach if it doesn't take too much. Meanwhile, Wisdom can be left for last or be ignored entirely.
Skills
Your main burst ranged damage is provided by Strafing, Zephyr's Nock and Decisive Sniping, these are the first skills you should level alongside Ensnaring Arrow. Healing Touch is your main, and very useful healing ability, allowing you to stay in fights or recover quickly after a fight and should have priority in leveling over Flash Arrow that also heals but not nearly as much, its main use being the high AOE damage.
Do not forget your melee rotation as Cleaving Moonlight and Brutal Incision have high damage, especially when attacking targets debuffed by your Inject Venom. Shadow Strike is your main CC and is perfect for setting up your melee rotation as it binds and silences targets.
Wrathful Edge, Assassin's Instincts are your main damage increasing passives as they increase crit rate and crit damage while Devoted Shield and Shadow Walker are great defensive choices!
Equipment
These are the first items you should strive for through the leveling period as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup before you start changing pieces into the Midgame. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples. The same goes for the blue ring as you keep it for a long time.
This is the gear you should transition to once you're leveled to 50 and start grinding gear. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by completing Litographs, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important and should be your main focus.
This is the current endgame gear you should aim for, and while it isn't easy to acquire, it offers great power without the need of acquiring archboss gear pieces. However, items like Tevent's Fangs of Fury or other archboss weapons are superior but difficult to acquire for the majority of players. If you do manage to get the archboss weapons for your build, feel free to use them over the weapons shown here.

Longbow: Add 9 points in Sniping to improve your damage and critical damage. Spend 9 points in Support to raise your resistance and gain extra Perception, which boosts skill damage resistance and benefits PVP performance. The final point should go into Check for additional support.
Dagger: Allocate 9 points into Disguise to greatly boost your evasion rate, which is a key strength of the dagger. The remaining 9 points should be placed into Assassination to increase your damage output. Finally, the last point in the Dagger mastery tree should be spent on Poison for added utility and effectiveness.
Rotations
- This is your main damage rotation before you transition into melee rotation. Start with the Inject Venom buff then use Ensnaring Arrow to root the target and make use of Steady Aim before using Decisive Sniping to deal high damage while also increasing your critical hit rate.
- Finish the rotation with Strafing (as many times as you can proc it) to apply both Gale & Target debuffs to the enemy before using Zephyr's Nock to deal high damage once again.
- While this rotation isn't as powerful as the Ranged Rotation, you want to follow up with this rotation after you've done the ranged one and you need extra damage on the target. You can still use this rotation on its own as its still very potent!
- Make sure that you have Inject Venom active first. Start by using Shadow Strike to bind and silence the enemy before using Cleaving Moonlight two times before using Brutal Incision to deal high damage. Use Shadow Strike again to teleport back to the original location from where you used the ability!
Camouflage Cloak: This ability acts as your escape route. Trigger it when you're being targeted or require a change in position. It can also aid in resetting the fight and cooldowns after scoring a kill. There are many ways to use stealth though, so don't hesitate to experiment!
Healing Touch: Use this skill to heal yourself throughout a fight and try to keep 3 stacks of it on yourself at all times. Can also be used between respawns in Dominion events or to help friendly players. Keep in mind that letting this expire will also apply a good burst heal on yourself.
Useful Information
- Choose Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides crucial protection with its shield, which can absorb damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only helps mitigate damage but also speeds up your cooldowns, allowing you to use your abilities more often.
