Invocator - Staff + Wand Large Scale PvP Build
- Great Healing
- Good CC
- Versatile
- Vulnerable to CCs
- High Skill Ceiling
- No Damage
Overview
This Staff and Wand build focuses around playing in large scale PVP. With both its single target and AOE healing that can be provided to your teammates. The staff offers plenty of self buffs alongside mobility, being a great choice to pair with the Wand.
Attributes
For this build, your main stat should remain Wisdom however and you should aim to reach high Wisdom to boost your max mana and make use of the Noble Revival to increase your overall healing. Afterwards, you should prioritize Strength for extra max HP and defensive stats that will help you stay alive more. You should also aim to invest in dexterity and in perception for extra buff duration and resistances but both remain secondary stats when compared to Wisdom and Strength.
Skills
When prioritizing skill upgrades, start with Swift Healing and Clay's Salvation as they are your main healing abilities. However, do not forget Blessed Barrier and Invincible Wall as they provide amazing shielding and can be used to proactively before engages to negate damage.
As far as damaging skills go, Touch of Despair is your only damaging skill and you should use this to stack up your Full of Corruption instead of doing actual damage. Cursed Nightmare is a fantastic skill for CC-ing whole enemy groups and should be one of your priorities when upgrading skills!
Equipment
These are the first items you should strive for through the leveling period as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup before you start changing pieces into the Midgame. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples. The same goes for the blue ring as you keep it for a long time.
This is the gear you should transition to once you're leveled to 50 and start grinding gear. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by completing Litographs, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important and should be your main focus.
This is the current endgame gear you should aim for, and while it isn't easy to acquire, it offers great power without the need of acquiring archboss gear pieces. However, items like Tevent's Fangs of Fury or other archboss weapons are superior but difficult to acquire for the majority of players. If you do manage to get the archboss weapons for your build, feel free to use them over the weapons shown here.

Staff: Investing 9 points into Destroy is perfect as it offers extra cooldown speed and skill damage alongside crit. The remaining 6 points should be go to Mana for the additional mana efficiency!
Wand: To enhance the overall damage of your skills, allocate 9 points into the Damage row and the remaining 6 points into Recovery for Skill Heal and crit rate.
Rotations
- While this is one of the simplest combos to execute, your positioning is the most important as you have to be rather close to the enemies to pull this off correctly. You want to look for stacked enemies during an enemy push or while your team is pushing towards the enemy zerg and your shotcaller is looking for an engage. Find an enemy in the group and use Touch of Despair and Cursed Nightmare to apply the Touch of Despair debuff and sleep before using Karmic Haze to spread the Cursed Nightmare to nearby enemies alongside Touch of Despair.
Swift Healing: With this being your only healing ability, you want to try and use this smartly even though you can use the ability twice. Try to always pair it with Blessed Barrier to boost the healing amount.
Inner Peace: With the specializtion, this skill allows you to survive a combo as you become immune to CC. This is skill is a great help whenever you are caught alone by a Greatsword or during enemy engages.
Frost Smokescreen: This skill is a great utility skill as it allows you to move across the battlefield quickly, getting out of sticky situations!
High Focus: Use this as a defensive skill, offering you great evasion rate and helping you withstand damage. You should have this applied to yourself as often as possible!
Useful Information
- Choose Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides good protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only helps mitigate damage but also speeds up your cooldowns, allowing you to use your abilities much more often.
