This build is up to date for the March 14, 2025 patch.
Overview
This Staff and Wand build focuses around playing small scale PVP content like arenas, open world dungeons, dominion/guild events and so on. The Invocator build offers great support through AOE and single target healing skills while also being capable of peeling for your team with
Cursed Nightmare and
Ice Spear.

Dexterity
With the unique stats and attributes system in Throne and Liberty, it can be difficult to determine exactly where to invest your attribute points at each stage of the game. This is because gear pieces provide attributes just like leveling up does, meaning everyone will have a different number of attribute points depending on what gear they are wearing at the time.
Given this variation, it's best to reset your attributes regularly to adjust to the new gear you acquire. Aim to reach the achievement effects, which provide extra benefits at milestones like 30, 50, and 70 points.
For this build, your main stat should remain Wisdom however and you should aim to reach high Wisdom to boost your max mana and make use of the
Noble Revival to increase your overall healing. Afterwards, you should prioritize Strength for extra max HP and defensive stats that will help you stay alive more which is very important as a healer in small scale pvp and in arena. You should also aim to invest in dexterity and in perception for extra buff duration and resistances but both remain secondary stats when compared to Wisdom and Strength.
Skills
When prioritizing skill upgrades, start with
Swift Healing and
Clay's Salvation as they are your main healing abilities. However, when leveling, you should also invest in your damaging skills with
Judgment Lightning and
Serial Fire Bombs being your main damaging skills also helping a great deal with taking down enemy players, helping your team win fights easier.
As far as support skills go,
Blessed Barrier and
Invincible Wall are incredibly strong to prevent damage and you should use these before a fight or before a party member is about to engage or take damage. These two skills are your main way of denying Greatsword players comboing and one-shotting your party members!

Cursed Nightmare is a good skill for CC-ing enemies, use this to counter greatsword players during their combos as you are usually able to stop them while they are charging up skills like
Death Blow.
Icebound Tomb is another good skill to help your team CC enemies and make it easier to deal with them.
As far as passives go, focus on upgrading
Noble Revival,
Forbidden Sanctuary &
Devotion and Emptiness to boost overall raw healing output.

These are the first items you should strive for through the leveling period as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup before you start changing pieces into the Midgame. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples. The same goes for the blue ring as you keep it for a long time.

This is the gear you should transition to once you're leveled to 50 and start grinding gear. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by completing Litographs, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important and should be your main focus.

While runes can be applied to different types of gear, you should make sure that you invest into the gear pieces that you plan on using for a long time. However, if the build you are using uses the same items between Mid Game and End Game, you can invest into adding runes to them as early as you get the items.
This is the current endgame gear you should aim for, and while it isn't easy to acquire, it offers great power without the need of acquiring archboss gear pieces. However, items like
Tevent's Fangs of Fury or other archboss weapons are superior but difficult to acquire for the majority of players. If you do manage to get the archboss weapons for your build, feel free to use them over the weapons shown here.

Staff

You should be aiming to reach and unlock masteries (the corner nodes) as soon as possible as they usually make the largest impact in the build. While minor nodes shouldn't be forgotten, make sure to unlock masteries as fast as possible before spreading out and spending into less important nodes.

Rotations
- This rotation is intended to keep your whole group alive as you kite. Use

Invincible Wall to put shields on your whole group before placing down a
Fountain of Life and calling your party to come together to be healer. Continue by using
Clay's Salvation to heal as many of your party members as possible. Make sure to use
Blessed Barrier as well but prioritize it either on yourself or an ally that is out of position.
- You can also follow up with

Swift Healing on the target affected by
Blessed Barrier.

Swift Healing: With this being your only main single target healing ability, you want to try and use this smartly even though you can use the ability 3 times in a row. Try to always pair it with
Blessed Barrier to boost the healing amount and don't forget that you will also be healed for 50% of the healing done to a friendly target.

Inner Peace: With the specialization, this skill lets you survive combos by making you immune to crowd control (CC) and denying them from making you prone, that for messing up their combos while also providing you with mana between fights. It’s especially useful when you’re caught alone by a Greatsword user or during enemy engagements.

High Focus: Use this skill defensively to boost your evasion rate and help you withstand damage. Keep it active on yourself as much as possible!
Useful Information
- Choose Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides good protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only helps mitigate damage but also speeds up your cooldowns, allowing you to use your abilities much more often.
