Leveling Guide
This is the most efficient way to reach max level 50 in Throne and Liberty in under 6 hours.
Chapter 1
- The leveling starts with the tutorial area. This can’t be skipped and it is pretty straightforward where you just need to follow the quest, kill a few mobs and fight the boss at the end.
- After getting through the tutorial, you will be teleported to the city. Ignore everything around you and follow the main purple story quest.
- When the main story quest leads you to the lighthouse, use the grapples instead of running up the hill. Completing it will reward you with a green weapon selection and you should pick your main weapon.
Chapter 2
- Continue following the main story quest until it leads you to the wolf area. After talking with the NPC, start moving north towards the 2nd part of the quest as you kill wolves. Before going to the next part of the story leading you to Henry’s grave, complete 2 Appendixes in Kastelton.
- When crossing the bridge, go left towards the hill and use grapples to get up faster. Do not run around the hill.
- After finishing that part, fly from the mountain towards the lighthouse. This should put you at level 12 and unlock the next chapter.
Chapter 3
- The story will lead you to the starlight observatory. Accept 4 contracts and complete them, as you do the story quest as well. Carry on following the main story quest until fight with Gnoller. Upgrade all gear and skills before the fight.
- After the fight at the starlight observatory complete both of the appendixes which also means doing the first level of the Taedal tower. Teleport to Kastelton and complete resistance contract coin appendix. This will put you at level 18 and unlock the next chapter. Craft as many green gear pieces and upgrade them if possible.
Chapter 4
- Keep following the story until it takes you to Vienta village. Completing chapter 4 will put you at level 21 and this is where the first bottleneck starts.
- First clear the second floor in Tadeal tower, then unlock the waypoint in moonlight wastelands and complete all the blue quests until you hit level 23. If you are not level 23 after completing all quests in moonlight wastelands, go back to Urstela fields or carmine forest and complete a few quests there.
Chapter 5
- At level 23 you unlock chapter 5 and it is pretty straightforward. After killing the vampire Leonardas you hit level 26 which is a 2nd bottleneck.
- Claim your blue weapon reward and upgrade all your gear and skills as far as possible. Join a guild and complete guardian of the guard appendix, which will unlock 2 more guild appendixes in Vienta Village.
- Next clear floor 3 of Taedal tower, then unlock the waypoint in Abandoned Stonemason Town and start completing blue quests until you hit level 28, which will unlock chapter 6.
Chapter 6
- Completing chapter 6 will put you at level 31 and give you blue helmet selection, which you want to upgrade as much as possible, while also using this time to keep upgrading your skills and other green gear pieces until they are all level 6.
- First clear floors 4 and 5 in tadeal tower then unlock moonlight desert waypoint and start completing all the blue quests in that area, until you reach level 32, which will unlock chapter 7.
- When doing sand tornado quest, fly into a sand tornado until you reach the other side, and when looking for a doll in the sand, it always hides in the hole it did not jump out from.
Chapter 7
- Chapter 7 is mostly done in a sandworm lair, so unlock the waypoint and also complete all the blue quests as you are following the story quest.
- When doing a mysterious mask quest, you don’t need to follow all the orbs, just run straight towards the portal. Here’s an image of all the blocks that are safe
- When looking for Ornate chest, the final box is here right above Queen Belandir spawn area.
- Completing the story quest and all blue quests in sandworm lair, puts you at level 36 and rewards you with blue gloves selection.
- First clear floor 6 in the taedal tower, then move towards Daybreak Shore waypoint, activate it to unlock the blue quests and start clearing them.
- 2 of those quests can be fully completed only during night time. These are the locations of all 4 sailors keepsakes, while 5th is RNG drop from sea crabs.
First Keepsake
Second Keepsake
Third Keepsake
Fourth Keepsake
Chapter 8
- Focus on the main story until it leads you to The Raging Wilds. There, activate the waypoint and start doing all blue side quests as you are also doing the main story quest. If you have been upgrading your gear and skills, you should be able to solo kill both Stone Golem Chief and Temitran Chief, but there will likely be other people around to group up with.
- When you complete all blue quests, continue with the story which will lead you to the fight with the first demon. He has a mechanic where he starts pulling the hearts in jars towards him while casting a lighting bolt. Stand next to the heart so when he hits you with a lightning bolt, he destroys the heart.
- Then the second demon fight is a bit harder. She will clone herself. To figure out which demon is real, put any type of DOT stacks on it so you can see which demon has ticking damage, or damage all 3 clones and see which demon takes the least amount of damage, because the other 2 have very low HP. Tank through the AOE fire explosion by using heals, potions and defensive skills.
- After completing chapter 8, you should be level 43, and puts you in the final bottleneck.
- First clear floors 6 and 7 in the taedal tower, then move to mana wastes waypoint, activate it and start doing all the blue quests.
- When doing Junobote’s experiment this is how 3 statues should be aligned
- This is the order of musical crystals in the 2nd part
- This is the order of stone golems for 3rd part.
- To get the 3rd resistance flag, follow the blue marks on the ground.
- Completing all blue quests in manawastes won’t be enough for level 45, so you will need to run to canina village, activate waypoint, then move to aikido valley and activate waypoint.
- After that talk to Fritz and complete the hardest quest in the game, which is a jumping puzzle. After finishing the puzzle, it will teleport you out in aikido valley, where you will want to collect 5 black manastones, which will put you on level 45 and unlock chapter 9.
Chapter 9
- This is where the most recent changes made major improvements to leveling, as you can reach level 50 with only main story quest from level 45.
- When talking to an orc, the quest item will be in this tower, then pull the lever and use the grapple to reach the hill. Follow the quest further.
- When fighting Zarek the best and fastest way is just DPSing as much as possible while moving around. When Talon comes you can use the bombs on the ground to lure him into them for stun and damage, but you can just brute force both of them.
- To complete the next jumping puzzle just use grapples to reach the high ground and pull the lever. Continue the story until you reach lycan’s hall.
- To complete the first puzzle you need to connect one blue and one yellow half moon to create a full moon. It will show you on which pillar each half moon is placed. Always go for 50% yellow and 50% blue moon, so interacting with 2 pillars that had them completes the first puzzle.
- The second puzzle is different and on a timer. All the moons will be spread around the room and one of them will be shown above your head. You need to interact with the pillar of opposite color that completes the full moon, until you interact with all pillars. All the moons are shown on each pillar; you just need to know which moon is supposed to be next.
- When the story leads you to purelight hill, run towards the shattered temple waypoint, activate it and throw yourself off this bridge without morphing into a bird. This will respawn you straight in purelight hill, saving you a lot of time running there.
- Continue the story into ruins of Thurayne and when you exit out of this nightmare quest, you will be level 50. But you should still complete the final 2 parts of the story for rewards.
