Liberator - Longbow + Staff Large Scale PvP Build
- High AOE Burst DPS
- Long range
- Good mana sustain
- Stationary gameplay
- Long cooldowns
- Very weak 1vs1
Overview
This Bow & Staff build focuses on large scale PVP. It is one of the top choices for Guilds vs Guild PVP, world bosses and archboss fights, performing well as a mostly stationary DPS making use of the high AOE damage offered by Flash Arrow coupled with the utility of Arrow Vortex, allowing you to stop entire enemy pushes with one well placed ability.
Attributes
For this build, prioritize boosting Perception and Dexterity to maximize your damage output. These should be your main focus early on. As you progress and improve your gear, continue investing in these stats to enhance your critical hit rate and improve your hit and range. Strength and Wisdom should be secondary stats. Strength is valuable for increasing your health and overall durability, while Wisdom can help with mana regeneration. Though they aren’t the top priority, they will still contribute to your survivability as you level up.
Skills
Your main AOE DPS will come from the Flash Arrow, dealing high AOE damage directly in front of your character with Arrow Vortex used for setting up the damage. Decisive Sniping is also a strong damaging skill and should also be upgraded as soon as possible. Judgment Lightning and Brutal Arrow also provide good AOE damage without a channel time, being worth upgrading as they both deal high damage while remaining on the move.
Ensnaring Arrow is a great CC for single targets that try to engage on you, allowing the follow-up with Strafing, Zephyr's Nock and Chain Lightning as quick single target burst so you can force enemies off yourself and remain safe.
Equipment
These are the first items you should strive for through the leveling period as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup before you start changing pieces into the Midgame. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples. The same goes for the blue ring as you keep it for a long time.
This is the gear you should transition to once you're leveled to 50 and start grinding gear. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by completing Litographs, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important and should be your main focus.
This is the current endgame gear you should aim for, and while it isn't easy to acquire, it offers great power without the need of acquiring archboss gear pieces. However, items like Tevent's Fangs of Fury or other archboss weapons are superior but difficult to acquire for the majority of players. If you do manage to get the archboss weapons for your build, feel free to use them over the weapons shown here.

Staff: Start by investing 9 points into Destroy to reduce cooldowns and increase damage, key for this build. Then, add points into Attribute to improve burning damage, burn chance, and cooldown reduction. Finally, allocate the remaining 1 point into Mana for a small defensive boost.
Longbow: Place 9 points in Sniping for a significant increase in both damage and critical damage. Put 9 points in Support to raise your resistance and gain extra Perception, which boosts skill damage resistance, particularly helpful in PVP. The last point should go into Check to offer additional hit rate.
Rotations
- This rotation is used to both CC and deal high AOE damage in quick succession while the enemy zerg is caught by your Arrow Vortex. Buff yourself up with High Locus, improving your hit rate and your evasion chance. Continue through with your frontline then use Arrow Vortex to throw enemies into the air before you channel Flash Arrow to deliver high AOE damage to those you caught. Follow up with quick casts of Judgment Lightning and Chain Lightning.
If you manage to push through the enemy zerg with this and they are backing off, make sure to use Decisive Sniping, aiming to hit as many stacked enemies as possible.
- Use this rotation to eliminate single targets caught out of position. Start by using Ensnaring Arrow to bind them in place before following up with Strafing that deals high damage and also applies the Target debuff that increases your Zephyr's Nock damage. Continu with both Judgment Lightning and Chain Lightning to finish off the target.
Blitz: As this ability resets your last used ability, you want to make use of this to reset your most important skills like Arrow Vortex or Flash Arrow.
Frost Smokescreen: This is your only mobility skill, allowing you to escape fights and slow down enemies left behind. Use it with a directional key to teleport in that direction and leave behind a slowing smoke at the starting location.
Useful Information
- Select Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides essential protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only aids in mitigating damage but also increases your cooldown speed in order to let you heal more often.
