Raider - Crossbow + Sword Large Scale PvP Build
- Easy to Play
- Tanky
- Support abilities
- Group Reliant
- Low Mobility
Overview
With this Crossbow and Sword build for large-scale PvP, your role is that of a frontline brawler, providing sustain and respectable damage output. The crossbow enables seamless switching between targets in the frontline, maintaining pressure on the enemy from mid-range.
Attributes
With this build, the goal is to maximize your HP and resistances, which can be achieved by investing 30 points into Dexterity and 30 points into Strength. Allocate the remaining 9 points into Perception. This build prioritizes helping your frontline achieve kills while remaining alive so you can be particularly annoying for the enemies to deal with
Skills
Skill Priority
Since most of the skills we use from the crossbow arsenal are already epic, prioritize upgrading Mortal Mark and Quick Fire first, as they are your only two skills of uncommon rarity. While Multi-Shot is another active crossbow skill you'll eventually want to upgrade, you can address that later, as the perk of upgrading it isn't particularly beneficial for our build.
Counter Barrier stands out as your most crucial defensive ability. Upgrading it first is strongly advised, as it enables you to counter both ranged and magic attacks effectively. Additionally, Chain Hook gains the ability to bind a target once it reaches epic grade, functioning similarly to Ensnaring Arrow, the longbow ability. An upgraded Spectrum of Agony and Provoking Roar will pair well with Quick Fire as the multiple hits of Quick Fire will keep up the Provoke debuff on a target.
Passives Priority
In terms of passives you want to focus on upgrading Eagle Vision & Ambidexterity for extra damage. Skillful Evasion is the first defensive option you should upgrade, with Aegis Shield being your first passive you upgrade to epic. After that, you want to push Spectrum of Agony to epic as well as upgrade both Eagle Vision & Ambidexterity again, this time to epic as well.
The rest of our passives are already upgraded to epic so you should focus on using the books you have to upgrade active skills instead!

Sword:
Allocating 9 points in the Boss row is a clear choice as it enhances your PVE defenses, specifically tailored for fighting bosses, and also grants additional health. The remaining 3 points will be invested in Provoke & Counter to bolster your defense even further.
Crossbow:
Distribute 9 points into Chain Fire to enhance your raw damage output and increase your ability to secure kills. Allocate the remaining 3 points into Regen to further increase Amitoi Heal amount by an additional 6%.
Rotations
- This rotation relies heavily on managing a Chain Hook pull and then following up with Mortal Mark in order to apply weaken and mark the target for damage to be delivered once the debuff ends. You will then further weaken the enemy with Weak Point Shot. You then transition into Merciless Barrage for high sustained damage until the enemy is out of the root provided by Chain Hook. That's when you want to use Wind Snatcher to boost your movement speed and lower theirs, following up with Quick Fire and A Shot at Victory to finish off the target.
Multi-Shot: This is one of your only AOE abilities and can be used to do some damage on top of enemy clumps or to push people away. The damage is quite low but it's still noticeable and can push players off key points like cliffs, etc.
Counter Barrier: Activate this skill when you begin to draw focused attention. Utilize your defense skill to reflect damage when you're under pressure or when an engagement doesn't go as planned.
Provoking Roar: Use this on enemy clumps as much as possible but it can also be used on targets you pull using Chain Hook. Because of the Spectrum of Agony passive, the target damaged by any of your abilities will also take extra damage from Spectrum of Agony as long they remain provoked.
Stalwart Bastion: Use this ability when initiating a push with your team or when being pushed by the enemy. It's usually requested by your shotcaller, but you can also initiate it yourself if your shotcaller doesn't issue the command.
Queen Bellandir's Blade is by far the most powerful sword in the game as it creates a small sandstorm that keeps enemies within it and sets up kills for your team whenever you use Annihilating Slash so make sure you keep this ability only for when you can find a group of enemies that you want to pin down.
Useful Information
- Choose Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it offers crucial protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only helps mitigate damage but also boosts your cooldown speed, allowing you to pull enemies using Chain Hook more frequently while also allowing you to use your abilities more in general.
