Overview
Greatsword and Dagger build for small-scale PvP which is great for taking out important enemies and winning one-on-one fights. It can deal a lot of damage quickly and has short cooldowns, making it easy to switch between targets. It works well in small PvP battles like Dominion events, arena or open world dungeon PVP during night time.

WisdomFor this build, focus on increasing Strength and Dexterity. Strength will improve your damage and give you a better chance of landing heavy attacks, thanks to the 
Vital Force bonus. The health gained from Strength is vital in PVP for staying alive longer. As your gear gets better, aim for 60 points in Strength for more HP and heavy attack benefits. Dexterity should be your next priority for critical hits, with any extra points going into Perception.
Skills
The Greatsword & Dagger build is a great choice for newer players just getting started with PVP as it offers a straightforward playstyle based around CC combos and assassinating enemies quickly, often before they can respond to your attack.
Your main damage skills are 
Death Blow and 
Guillotine Blade along with 
Gaia Crash. However, 
Devastating Smash and 
Cleaving Moonlight shouldn't be forgotten either as they provide extra mobility as well as an important stun. Level them to purple as soon as possible! 
Brutal Incision is also a very good skill to level as you can use it to execute targets below 50% HP.
Precision Dash is one of your important mobility skills alongside 
Ascending Slash and shouldn't be forgotten as they combine perfectly into each other.
For passives, you should focus on upgrading 
Robust Constitution for additional health and health regen. Vital Force matches well with Robust Constitution and considerably increases your damage. 
Assassin's Instincts for extra crit rate. Meanwhile, 
Shadow Walker as a defensive passive that can be triggered at any time by simply using your 
Block Blade (you don't have to actually roll to the side to activate this, just pressing your block is enough). It also activates whenever you use 
Shadow Strike and helps you with sustaining damage during your CC rotation.
Equipment
These are the first items you should strive for through the leveling period as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup before you start changing pieces into the Midgame. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples. The same goes for the blue ring as you keep it for a long time.
This is the gear you should transition to once you're leveled to 50 and start grinding gear. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by completing Litographs, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important and should be your main focus.
This is the current endgame gear you should aim for, and while it isn't easy to acquire, it offers great power without the need of acquiring archboss gear pieces. However, items like 
Tevent's Fangs of Fury or other archboss weapons are superior but difficult to acquire for the majority of players. If you do manage to get the archboss weapons for your build, feel free to use them over the weapons shown here.

Rotations
- This rotation serves as your primary kill sequence. While you can start from within
Camouflage Cloak, the skill is better used for escaping and resetting the fight.
- The rotation is straightforward: begin with Shadow Strike to bind and silence your target. If your bind succeeds, use Ascending Slash to trip (Prone) your target and then use Gaia Crash to deal quick damage while they are on the ground. Continue with
Stunning Blow and Death Blow before finishing them off with Cleaving Moonlight.
- Start this rotation with Precision Dash to boost heavy attack chance and also bind your target. Follow up with Ascending Slash to make them prone and boost your next damaging skill damage before using Guillotine Blade to do heavy damage. Follow up with Stunning Blow to keep the enemy CC'd (You can also use Devastating Smash) and finish them off with Death Blow.
- This is a secondary rotation you can use if your other skills are on cooldown or you are trying to engage on a target far away. Start with Precision Dash in the direction of the target and then cast it again to teleport to them before using Ascending Slash to force Prone on your enemy after they got bound.
- Continue with Guillotine Blade for high damage before stunning again with Devastating Smash. Finish off the target using Death Blow and Brutal Incision.
Camouflage Cloak: This is your get-out-of-jail-free card. Use it when you are getting focused or have to reposition. It can also help reset a fight and cooldowns after taking down a target. There are numerous other ways to use stealth, so feel free to be inventive!
Block Blade: This is the key ability that distinguishes between skilled Greatsword and Dagger users and less skilled ones. You can employ this ability to increase your damage and evasion, helping a lot with your survival. This skill also increases your damage if you are using the 
Lequirus's Wicked Thorns.
DaVinci's Courage: Use this between fights to regain health and boost your health regen and attack speed.
Useful Information
- Select Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides essential protection with its shield, which absorbs damage equal to 50% of your mana. While the shield is active, you also gain a 40% Cooldown Speed boost. Although the shield is valuable, ensure to maintain it for as long as possible to maximize the duration of the increased cooldown speed. Remember, the guardian will be lost if the shield is depleted, so be mindful of that!
