Voidlance - Spear + Wand Small Scale PvP Build
- Good Single Target DPS
- Good Healing
- Good Utility
- Off-meta
- Low Mobility
- Gear Dependant
Overview
This Voidlance build mixes the healing power of the Wand with the single target DPS potential of the spear in a deadly combination. Focused on small scale PVP like Dominion events, Night time PVP or Arena, the build excels at staying alive and offering support to allies thanks to skills like Fountain of Life and Swift Healing while also providing good shielding with Invincible Wall. While the build is considered off-meta and doesn't perform quite as well as other more specialized builds, it can still offer a fresh experience for those looking to include the Spear in their arsenal of weapons
Attributes
You should focus on improving your dexterity and strength first. Strength helps you stay alive by boosting max HP and heavy attack chance which also translated to your healing. Dexterity lets you deal enough damage to finish fights. Fortitude isn’t as important as strength, but it’s still useful because it gives you more endurance, helping you last longer in PVP.
Skills
To optimize your gameplay, start by upgrading DPS skills first, as you’ll heavily depend on spear abilities for damage output. Vicious Fury pairs perfectly with Javelin Surge, making them the obvious first choices. After that, upgrade Cyclonic Fury, and then Abyssal Cleave, which is invaluable for its extended crowd control (CC) duration, especially in PvP. Don’t overlook Rising Slash either, as it increases your damage.
Next, focus on your healing skills. Upgrading Fountain of Life, Swift Healing, and Invincible Wall is vital, as they provide consistent AOE healing and team support.
Cursed Nightmare is critical for peeling enemies and setting up kills. Use it effectively to disrupt combos in the arena, helping protect your team or yourself from dangerous rotations like preventing Greatsword players from one-shotting you or your teammates.
Finally, pay attention to passive skills. Prioritize Noble Revival, Saint's Oath, and Selfless Soul to enhance your raw healing capabilities. Afterward, invest in Malice Surge to gain a chance for heavy attack boosts (and increased heavy healing) whenever you take damage.
Equipment
These are the first items you should strive for through the leveling period as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup before you start changing pieces into the Midgame. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples. The same goes for the blue ring as you keep it for a long time.
This is the gear you should transition to once you're leveled to 50 and start grinding gear. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by completing Litographs, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important and should be your main focus.
This is the current endgame gear you should aim for, and while it isn't easy to acquire, it offers great power without the need of acquiring archboss gear pieces. However, items like Tevent's Fangs of Fury or other archboss weapons are superior but difficult to acquire for the majority of players. If you do manage to get the archboss weapons for your build, feel free to use them over the weapons shown here.

Spear: Allocating points into Face Off and Destroy is the optimal approach for Spear mastery. These upgrades enhance CC chance, Ignite damage, skill damage resistance, and provide a skill damage boost, allowing you to simultaneously increase your damage output and healing potential. The final point should be placed into Charge to gain a slight boost to base defense.
Wand: Begin by investing the first 9 points into Recovery to improve heavy attack chances. The next 9 points should be allocated to Weaken for an additional increase in skill power. Finally, use the last point in Damage to enhance base damage, which also translates into improved healing effectiveness.
Rotations
- Begin with Abyssal Cleave to stun the target and boost your follow-up critical damage. Use Cyclonic Fury in close range to apply Ignite stacks then use Culling Arc to do extra damage before spending the Ignite stacks on the target with Rising Slash.
- Finish the rotation with Vicious Fury to build up Ember stacks so you can use Javelin Surge to finish off the target player.
Fountain of Life: Call your group mates together when you use this skill and use it to deliver high AOE tick healing as they stand in it. You can also use this to heal your tanks by dropping it down under their feet and letting them sit in it while blocking to minimize damage taken.
Swift Healing: This is your single target heal, use it on friendly players that are caught out of position or otherwise need immediate healing. You can also use this on yourself but using it on another player will still heal you for 50% of the healing done.
Unyielding Sentinel: This is fantastic for your own sustain, granting a large HP shield that allows you to tank more damage, pairing well with Invincible Wall while also offering heavy attack chance.
