Ordering within each tier is based on the weapon combinations played at the highest level in end-game content beyond the maximum level. It's crucial to note that these positions may change suddenly with balance patches. Therefore, it's essential, above all, to choose what you enjoy playing.
Ordering within each tier is based on the weapon combinations played at the highest level in end-game content with best in slow gear. It's crucial to note that these positions may change suddenly with balance patches. Therefore, it's essential, above all, to choose what you enjoy playing.

The information provided is accurate as of March 2024 and should remain relevant until the next major update that delivers major changes.
The weapons on the left side indicate the weapon that is out in your main hand, while the top side is the off-hand weapon. For example, Longbow + Dagger would not have the same build and play style as Dagger + Longbow. One is holding a Longbow and using range to attack, while the other is holding a Dagger and staying in melee range. Many more weapon combinations are like this. Just keep in mind that the left side are the weapons you would want to hold out in your hands for 95% of the fights, otherwise this tier list won’t make sense. Builds for every weapon can be found on the Throne and Liberty Builds page.

Crossbow
*Crossbow Dagger - This weapon combination has incredible burst potential and the highest single target DPS in the game in short bursts, letting you move between mobs in the open world with ease and deliver sustained DPS during dungeon encounters.
*Crossbow Greatsword - While the two weapons individually offer high damage, the combination doesn't do as well as others, if used as an off-hand, the crossbow can still deliver high damage alongside the Greatsword but it cannot be compared to the burst potential offered by other weapons.
*Crossbow Longbow - This weapon combination offers high damage potential and the increased range of Longbow comes in handy but because of the range difference between the two weapons, it can be annoying to keep repositioning for your crossbow skills to reach your target.
*Crossbow Staff - This weapon combination offers high burst damage and the Inner Peace of the staff can help with the mana hungry Crossbow. The staff also offers much needed AOE damage. However, akin to the Crossbow Greatsword combination, while both weapons have high damage potential on their own, they don't do much to compliment eachother and the range difference between staff and crossbow can also prove difficult to manage.
*Crossbow Sword - While this combination offers the crossbow much needed protection, it falls short in both delivering damage and staying alive long enough to be considered for the tank role.
*Crossbow Wand - This combination counters itself as the Wand relies on damage over time while the crossbow relies on quick bursts of damage. It can be difficult to keep on top of the cooldowns which cuts deeply into your DPS.
Dagger
*Dagger Crossbow - While the two weapons individually offer high damage, the combination doesn't do as well as others, if used as an off-hand, the crossbow can still deliver high damage alongside the Greatsword but it cannot be compared to the burst potential offered by other weapons.
*Dagger Greatsword - This is one of the best weapon combinations if you are looking for high damage in short bursts. The mobility is incredible on this and it allows you to topscore in PVE events if played correctly.
*Dagger Longbow - The dagger adds much needed mobility to the Longbow and the combo performs amazingly together as the dagger damage skills fill the gaps you find in the Longbow rotation and allows for quick repositioning.
*Dagger Staff - Another amazing combination for the dagger as the staff offers high sustained damage and the dagger compliments it through the access to Inject Venom and skills meant to finish off targets ( Brutal Incision ).
*Dagger Sword - Sadly the combination of Dagger and Sword falls short of achieving anything substantial in PVE as both weapons have rather low DPS potential on their own and the dagger doesn't do enough to help with the tank oriented side of the Sword.
*Dagger Wand - This combination does great in open world PVE as it allows for high AOE damage and is fantastic when the goal is to kill a large amount of low HP mobs in a short time or when grinding lithographs!
Greatsword
*Greatsword Crossbow - While the two weapons individually offer high damage, the combination doesn't do as well as others, if used as an off-hand, the crossbow can still deliver high damage alongside the Greatsword but it cannot be compared to the burst potential offered by other weapons.
*Greatsword Dagger - This is one of the best weapon combinations if you are looking for high damage in short bursts. The mobility is incredible on this and it allows you to topscore in PVE events if played correctly.
*Greatsword Longbow - This combination doesn't manage to achieve a whole lot in PVE even though both weapons have high damage potential, they are awful at complimenting eachother and you'd be forced to play in close range with the greatsword which would expose you during skills like Decisive Sniping.
*Greatsword Staff - This combination has similar issues as Greatsword Longbow and while Inner Peace can help with keeping up with the high mana consumption, the combination lacks in sustained damage.
*Greatsword Sword - This is one of the best weapon combinations if you are trying to play the tank role for your group in dungeons as it provides high resistances and health. In the same time, it can be used successfully in the open world PVE grinding, offering plenty of options for AOE damage.
*Greatsword Wand - Sadly the greatsword fails to provide anything of value to a healing type weapon like the wand. Meanwhile, if you intend to play the damage side of the wand, you will find yourself struggling in applying damage.
Longbow
*Longbow Crossbow - This weapon combination offers high damage potential and the increased range of Longbow comes in handy but because of the range difference between the two weapons, it can be annoying to keep repositioning for your crossbow skills to reach your target.
*Longbow Dagger - The dagger adds much needed mobility to the Longbow and the combo performs amazingly together as the dagger damage skills fill the gaps you find in the Longbow rotation and allows for quick repositioning.
*Longbow Greatsword - This combination doesn't manage to achieve a whole lot in PVE even though both weapons have high damage potential, they are awful at complimenting eachother and you'd be forced to play in close range with the greatsword which would expose you during skills like Decisive Sniping.
*Longbow Staff - Longbow Staff remains one of the highest DPS combos in the game as it matches perfectly in both range and abilities. The use of Inner Peace coupled with Nature's Blessing provides almost unlimited mana which allows you to unleash incredible amounts of damage.
*Longbow Sword - While the sword succeeds in offering the Longbow much needed defense, it's lack of damage lowers overall DPS considerably and renders this combination weak when put up against others.
*Longbow Wand - This combination remains the uncontested king of healing builds as it provides incredible support for all your teammates and incredible healing along with mana regeneration abilities such as Nature's Blessing.
Staff
*Staff Crossbow - This weapon combination offers high burst damage and the Inner Peace of the staff can help with the mana hungry Crossbow. The staff also offers much needed AOE damage. However, akin to the Crossbow Greatsword combination, while both weapons have high damage potential on their own, they don't do much to compliment eachother and the range difference between staff and crossbow can also prove difficult to manage.
*Staff Dagger - Another amazing combination for the dagger as the staff offers high sustained damage and the dagger compliments it through the access to Inject Venom and skills meant to finish off targets ( Brutal Incision ).
*Staff Greatsword - This combination has similar issues as Greatsword Longbow and while Inner Peace can help with keeping up with the high mana consumption, the combination lacks in sustained damage.
*Staff Longbow - Longbow Staff remains one of the highest DPS combos in the game as it matches perfectly in both range and abilities. The use of Inner Peace coupled with Nature's Blessing provides almost unlimited mana which allows you to unleash incredible amounts of damage.
*Staff Sword - The defensive ability of the sword remains useful even when coupled with a staff, however, the lack of damage doesn't do enough to make the combination competitive from a DPS point of view when compared to other possible combinations.
*Staff Wand - The combination between the damage over time capabilities of the wand coupled with the high burst damage the staff is capable of creates a great mix for high, constant damage output. This combination is also great for AOE grinding as Infernal Meteor can be coupled with many of the wand AOE abilities.
Sword
*Sword Crossbow - While this combination offers the crossbow much needed protection, it falls short in both delivering damage and staying alive long enough to be considered for the tank role.
*Sword Dagger - Sadly the combination of Dagger and Sword falls short of achieving anything substantial in PVE as both weapons have rather low DPS potential on their own and the dagger doesn't do enough to help with the tank oriented side of the Sword.
*Sword Greatsword - This is one of the best weapon combinations if you are trying to play the tank role for your group in dungeons as it provides high resistances and health. *Sword Longbow - While the sword succeeds in offering the Longbow much needed defense, it's lack of damage lowers overall DPS considerably and renders this combination weak when put up against others.
*Sword Staff - The defensive ability of the sword remains useful even when coupled with a staff, however, the lack of damage doesn't do enough to make the combination competitive from a DPS point of view when compared to other possible combinations.
*Sword Wand - The combination between the defensive capabilities of the sword and the healing of the wand create one of the best tanking classes in the game. It creates a tank that can heal itself, often referred to as a "Paladin" build in other games and it can prove very useful in certain dungeons where the healing required is minimal.
Wand
*Wand Crossbow - This combination counters itself as the Wand relies on damage over time while the crossbow relies on quick bursts of damage. It can be difficult to keep on top of the cooldowns which cuts deeply into your DPS.
*Wand Dagger - This combination does great in open world PVE as it allows for high AOE damage and is fantastic when the goal is to kill a large amount of low HP mobs in a short time or when grinding lithographs!

Crossbow
Crossbow
*Crossbow Dagger - This weapon combination has incredible burst potential and the highest single target DPS in the game in short bursts, letting you move between players in the open world with ease as you make quick kills and move on as a medium range assassin. It is meant to play on the sidelines of zerg fights and help pick off low HP targets.
For our complete list of Crossbow builds, see the Crossbow Builds page.
*Crossbow Greatsword - While the two weapons individually offer high damage, the combination doesn't perform as well as others. If used as an off-hand, the crossbow can still deliver high damage alongside the Greatsword. With the correct build it can deliver high damage but relies a lot on getting a stun on your target and trying that will get you killed.
*Crossbow / Dagger - Is the absolute bread and butter when it comes to high single target damage burst and a well rounded sustained damage during long boss fights. It pairs well with passives and mobility the Dagger provides. Skill specialization made it even stronger and it’s one of the most popular weapon combinations in the game.
*Crossbow Longbow - This weapon combination offers high damage potential and the increased range of Longbow comes in handy, this allows you to deliver damage from a relative safe distance while the crossbow comes in handy to help burst any enemies that might overextend.
*Crossbow / Greatsword - Does provide high damage, mobility, hit and defensive stats, but it simply cannot compare to the high damage burst other weapon combinations provide. Since dagger offers more valuable passives than Greatsword as an off-hand weapon when it comes to pure damage.
*Crossbow Staff - This weapon combination is similar to the Crossbow Longbow but it lacks sustained damage and relies mostly on medium range burst with the crossbow and the extra damage from the staff abilities. Infernal Meteor can also be used during pushes but you lack defensive abilities that would let you get out alive.
*Crossbow / Longbow - Is in the same boat as Greatsword. It doesn’t offer as high damage as previous 2 off-hands, but it holds really well against single target opponents. The playstyle and passives counteract each other, where Crossbow requires mobility and mid range, Longbow prefers stationary long range playstyle. Crossbow on its own is capable of doing high numbers, in combination with few crit passives from Longbow.
*Crossbow Sword - While this combination offers the crossbow some protection and allows you to play in the frontline, the lackluster damage makes it weaker when compared to other options.
*Crossbow / Staff - Is very similar to Longbow off-hand. Both weapons individually offer a high damage, but they don’t really do anything to compliment one another. The difference in range where the Crossbow is mid range, mobility weapon and Staff being long range casting, could become difficult to manage if you are a beginner. But this combination offers a sheer amount of damage and AOE capabilities.
*Crossbow Wand - For healers, this choice isn't entirely bad and could still function adequately as a frontline healer. However, it falls short in sustaining healing output during prolonged engagements, while its damage contribution remains insignificant.
*Crossbow / Sword - While this combination offers the crossbow much needed protection, it falls short in both delivering damage and staying alive long enough to be considered for the tank role.
*Crossbow / Wand - This combination counters itself as the Wand relies on damage over time while the Crossbow relies on quick bursts of damage. It can be difficult to keep on top of the cooldowns which cut deeply into your DPS. And the healing capabilities of Wand do not make it a great healer.

Dagger
Dagger
*Dagger Crossbow - This weapon combination has incredible burst potential and the highest single target DPS in the game in short bursts, letting you move between players in the open world with ease as you make quick kills and move on as a medium range assassin. It is meant to play on the sidelines of zerg fights and help pick off low HP targets.
For our complete list of Dagger builds, see the Dagger Builds page.
*Dagger Greatsword - This is one of the best weapon combinations if you are looking for high damage in short bursts. The mobility is incredible on this and it allows you to topscore in PVE events if played correctly.
*Dagger / Crossbow - Is the absolute bread and butter when it comes to high single target damage burst and a well rounded sustained damage during long boss fights. It pairs well with passives and mobility the Dagger provides. Skill specialization made it even stronger and it’s one of the most popular weapon combinations in the game.
*Dagger Longbow - The dagger adds much needed mobility to the Longbow and the combo performs amazingly together as the dagger damage skills fill the gaps you find in the Longbow rotation and allows for quick repositioning.
*Dagger / Greatsword - Is the 2nd best weapon combination where you can have a Dagger out and not use it as an off-hand. It is the best melee oriented DPS build, with high bursts, mobility and survivability.
*Dagger Staff - Another excellent combination for the dagger is with the staff, which offers high sustained damage. The dagger complements it with access to Inject Venom and skills meant to finish off targets, such as Brutal Incision. Additionally, Camouflage Cloak provides stealth, aiding in setting up Infernal Meteor and escaping from difficult situations. This build remains the highest damaging AOE bombing build.
*Dagger / Longbow - Should not be used with the intention of having Dagger out as main weapon and forcing yourself into melee with ranged weapon. Dagger is amazing as an off-hand weapon and is very good due to passives and mobility, but not in main hand.
*Dagger Sword - The combination between sword and dagger provides a decent level of defense, allowing you to push into the enemy frontline and delivering damage before retreating through use of your various movement abilities and Camouflage Cloak.
*Dagger / Staff - Should not be used with the intention of having Dagger out as main weapon and forcing yourself into melee with ranged weapon. Dagger is amazing as an off-hand weapon and is very good due to passives and mobility, but not in main hand.
*Dagger Wand - This combination excels in open-world PVE, offering high AOE damage and effective poking against enemy zergs from a distance. It proves to be annoying to deal with, gradually applying constant dot damage to enemies over time.
*Dagger / Sword - Sadly the combination of Dagger and Sword falls short of achieving anything substantial in PvE as both weapons have rather low DPS potential on their own and the dagger doesn't do enough to help with the tank oriented side of the Sword.
*Dagger / Wand - Should not be used with the intention of having Dagger out as main weapon and forcing yourself into melee with ranged weapon. Dagger is amazing as an off-hand weapon and is very good due to passives and mobility, but not in main hand.

Greatsword
Greatsword
*Greatsword Crossbow - While the two weapons individually offer high damage, the combination doesn't do as well as others, if used as an off-hand, the crossbow can still deliver high damage alongside the Greatsword but it cannot be compared to the burst potential offered by other weapons.
For our complete list of Greatsword builds, see the Greatsword Builds page.
*Greatsword Dagger - This combination remains one of the assassin types with the highest burst damage, coupled with access to stealth, it does very well at picking kills on the sidelines in large scale fights.
*Greatsword / Crossbow - Does provide high damage, mobility, hit and defensive stats, but it simply cannot compare to the high damage burst other weapon combinations provide. Since dagger offers more valuable passives than Greatsword as an off-hand weapon when it comes to pure damage.
*Greatsword Longbow - Even with the extra range abilities provided by the Longbow, Greatsword on it's own fails to achieve high enough damage to be a threat.
*Greatsword / Dagger - The best melee oriented weapon combination, with a high burst damage, high mobility and attack speed. It doesn’t really matter which weapon is out in your main hand as it does almost the same job.
*Greatsword Staff - While the greatsword makes use of the extra damage provided by staff, the combination falls short in defensive options and you would have a very difficult time staying alive in lengthy fights.
*Greatsword / Longbow - This combination doesn't manage to achieve a whole lot in PvE even though both weapons have high damage potential, they are awful at complimenting each other and you'd be forced to play in close range with the Greatsword.
*Greatsword Sword - This is one of the best weapon combinations if you are trying to play a bruiser setup in large scale PVP, it delivers incredible AOE damage for a melee class and it can even rival other ranged focused combinations.
*Greatsword / Staff - This combination has similar issues as Greatsword Longbow where the combination lacks in sustained damage.
*Greatsword Wand - The combination of the melee greatsword and the healing abilities can prove useful in niche situations as a frontline healer but it cannot sustain itself in extended fights because of mana issues.
*Greatsword / Sword - Is the ultimate tank weapon combination. It offers instant queue into dungeons, allows you to be invited for any type of PvE content and it's a very much needed, core part of any group activity. It goes without even mentioning everything this weapon combination does to make you an unkillable fortress. Simply put, no tanks, no dungeons for you.
*Greatsword / Wand - Sadly the Greatsword fails to provide anything of value to a healing type weapon like the wand. Meanwhile, if you intend to play the damage side of the wand, you will find yourself struggling in applying damage.

Longbow
Longbow
*Longbow Crossbow - This weapon combination offers high damage potential and the increased range of Longbow comes in handy, this allows you to deliver damage from a relative safe distance while the crossbow comes in handy to help burst any enemies that might overextend.
For our complete list of Longbow builds, see the Longbow Builds page.
*Longbow Dagger - The dagger adds much needed mobility to the Longbow and the combo performs amazingly together as the dagger damage skills fill the gaps you find in the Longbow rotation and allows for quick repositioning.
*Longbow / Crossbow - Works in the same counter intuitive way as Crossbow + Longbow. Due to the nature of both weapon’s passives and specific play styles it’s not as easy to pull off consistently and maximize damage output.
*Longbow Greatsword - Even with the extra range abilities provided by the Longbow, Greatsword on it's own fails to achieve high enough damage to be a threat.
*Longbow / Dagger - Falls behind in damage against Crossbow off-hand, but dagger provides a very much needed mobility and passives. With a good build, specific play style and BiS gear it can achieve close to S tier single target damage output, but due to lacks in AOE capabilities and a slow group farming.
*Longbow Staff - Longbow Staff remains one of the highest DPS combos in the game as it matches perfectly in both range and abilities. The use of Inner Peace coupled with Nature's Blessing provides almost unlimited mana which allows you to unleash incredible amounts of damage from the safety of being inside your own team zerg while abilities like Frost Smokescreen can provide nice repositioning.
*Longbow / Greatsword - Simply does not work as Greatsword cannot provide anything needed to justify running a melee off-hand weapon over Dagger. Forcing you to go into melee without complementing it with mobility skills isn’t great use of the long range Longbow provides.
*Longbow Sword - While the sword succeeds in providing the Longbow much-needed defense, its lack of damage significantly lowers overall DPS and renders this combination weak compared to others. It may serve as a decent option for new players aiming to support the zerg with AOE buffs and protection from a safe distance, but it remains ineffective in dealing damage.
*Longbow / Staff - Is the ultimate fully long range weapon combination that offers very high damage output, AOE capabilities and single target burst. It remains almost on par with any damage Crossbow can output, and with almost unlimited mana, relatively short cooldowns you can spam every damaging skill until the boss is dead. Longbow Staff with BiS gear and extreme end game, can reach up to 35m in range.
*Longbow Wand - This combination retains its position as the unrivaled king of healing builds, offering unparalleled support for all teammates with exceptional healing capabilities and mana regeneration abilities like Nature's Blessing. It provides abundant AOE healing and serves as the backbone of every zerg composition.
*Longbow / Sword - Does not work in the same way as Greatsword doesn’t as an off-hand weapon. It doesn’t have any capabilities of tanking with a long range weapon in hand and going melee completely defeats the purpose of having a long range weapon in the first place.
*Longbow / Wand - With new skill specialization has been turned into an ultimate healing build. It is actually absurd how much burst healing and healing overtime it can dish out to multiple targets, it also offers additional healing, support and utility skills if properly specced into. Making it a very much needed healer for any type of PvE content.

Staff
Staff
*Staff Crossbow - This weapon combination is similar to the Crossbow Longbow but it lacks sustained damage and relies mostly on medium range burst with the crossbow and the extra damage from the staff abilities. Infernal Meteor can also be used during pushes but you lack defensive abilities that would let you get out alive.
For our complete list of Staff builds, see the Staff Builds page.
*Staff Dagger - Another excellent combination for the dagger is with the staff, which offers high sustained damage.
*Staff / Crossbow - Is very similar to Crossbow + Staff. Both weapons individually offer a high damage, but they don’t really do anything to compliment one another. The difference in range where the Crossbow is mid range, mobility weapon and Staff being a long range casting weapon, could become difficult to manage if you are a beginner.
*Staff Greatsword - While the greatsword makes use of the extra damage provided by staff, the combination falls short in defensive options and you would have a very difficult time staying alive in lengthy fights.
*Staff / Dagger - Is probably the most popular weapon combination in the game. It is almost on par with damage compared to Crossbow, it has bigger range, more AOE capabilities, almost unlimited mana and needed mobility, which paired with Dagger passives is absolutely devastating to any target. Simple rotations and easy to understand build makes it one of the best DPS weapon combinations for any type of PvE content.
*Staff Longbow - Longbow Staff remains one of the highest DPS combos in the game as it matches perfectly in both range and abilities. The use of Inner Peace coupled with Nature's Blessing provides almost unlimited mana which allows you to unleash incredible amounts of damage from the safety of being inside your own team zerg while abilities like Frost Smokescreen can provide nice repositioning.
*Staff / Greatsword - Simply does not work as Greatsword cannot provide anything needed to justify running a melee off-hand weapon over Dagger. Forcing you to go into melee without complementing it with mobility skills isn’t great use of the long range Staff provides.
*Staff Sword - The defensive ability of the sword remains useful even when coupled with a staff. This combination is decent for new players, although it may not output the same level of damage. However, it offers more defensive options, allowing new players to learn while having additional room for mistakes.
*Staff / Longbow - Is the same as Longbow + Staff. It’s the ultimate fully long range weapon combination that offers very high damage output, AOE capabilities and single target burst. It remains almost on par with any damage Crossbow can output, and with almost unlimited mana, relatively short cooldowns you can spam every damaging skill until the boss is dead. With BiS gear in extreme end game, can reach up to 35m in range.
*Staff Wand - The combination of the wand's damage-over-time capabilities and the staff's high burst damage potential creates a great mix for consistent high damage output. This combination is also excellent for AOE grinding, as Infernal Meteor can be combined with many of the wand's AOE abilities, such as active and active. This not only provides damage and control for your zerg but also offers support through heals.
*Staff / Sword - Does not work in the same way as Greatsword doesn’t as an off-hand weapon. It doesn’t have any capabilities of tanking with a long range weapon in hand and going melee completely defeats the purpose of having a long range weapon in the first place.
*Staff / Wand - Can be run as a main and secondary healer. The build can spec into both full healer and a DPS build with some healing. It has great capabilities for group content and AOE farming as both weapons offer high AOE damage. It is the classic mage class where both weapons use magic and elemental skills, so it can fulfill your desires of being a DPS mage or Healer mage.

Sword
Sword
*Sword Crossbow - While this combination offers the crossbow much needed protection, it falls short in both delivering damage and staying alive long enough to be considered for the tank role.
For our complete list of Sword builds, see the Sword & Shield Builds page.
*Sword Dagger - The combination between sword and dagger provides a decent level of defense, allowing you to push into the enemy frontline and delivering damage before retreating through use of your various movement abilities and Camouflage Cloak.
*Sword / Crossbow - While this combination offers the crossbow much needed protection, it falls short in both delivering damage and staying alive long enough to be considered for the tank role.
*Sword Greatsword - This is one of the best weapon combinations if you are trying to play a bruiser setup in large scale PVP, it delivers incredible AOE damage for a melee class and it can even rival other ranged focused combinations.
*Sword / Dagger - Does work very nicely to the point where you can actually tank with it, but also deal quite a decent damage due to dagger passives and damaging skills.
*Sword Longbow - While the sword succeeds in providing the Longbow much-needed defense, its lack of damage significantly lowers overall DPS and renders this combination weak compared to others. It may serve as a decent option for new players aiming to support the zerg with AOE buffs and protection from a safe distance, but it remains ineffective in dealing damage.
*Sword / Greatsword - Is the ultimate tank weapon combination. It offers instant queue into dungeons, allows you to be invited for any type of PvE content and it's a very much needed, core part of any group activity. It goes without even mentioning everything this weapon combination does to make you an unkillable fortress. Simply put, no tanks, no dungeons for you.
*Sword Staff - The defensive ability of the sword remains useful even when coupled with a staff. This combination is decent for new players, although it may not output the same level of damage. However, it offers more defensive options, allowing new players to learn while having additional room for mistakes.
*Sword / Longbow - While the sword succeeds in offering the Longbow much needed defense, it's lack of damage lowers overall DPS considerably and renders this combination weak when put up against others.
*Sword Wand - The combination of the sword's defensive capabilities and the wand's healing creates one of the best frontline fighters. This setup allows you to absorb a lot of enemy zerg damage while providing heals to your frontline allies and keeping yourself alive.
*Sword / Staff - The defensive ability of the sword remains useful even when coupled with a staff, however, the lack of damage doesn't do enough to make the combination competitive from a DPS point of view when compared to other possible combinations.
*Sword / Wand - Is what many players are calling the Paladin build. It’s probably the best tanking weapon combination, as you are a tank, that can heal itself, but also heal other players and provide support. It has been popularized recently and with skill specializations, BiS gear and high level skills, the tank can solo any end boss in any dungeon. Paladin is both tank and healer and can queue for both slots, as any other tank or healer.

Wand
Wand
*Wand - For healers, this choice isn't entirely bad and could still function adequately as a frontline healer. However, it falls short in sustaining healing output during prolonged engagements, while its damage contribution remains insignificant.
For our complete list of Wand builds, see the Wand & Tome Builds page.
*Wand Dagger - This combination excels in open-world PVE, offering high AOE damage and effective poking against enemy zergs from a distance. It proves to be annoying to deal with, gradually applying constant dot damage to enemies over time.
*Wand / Crossbow - Combination counters itself as the Wand relies on damage over time while the crossbow relies on quick bursts of damage. It can be difficult to keep on top of the cooldowns which cut deeply into your DPS. You can’t go full healer build and going full DPS build isn’t sufficient and there are better options out there.
*Wand Greatsword - The combination of the melee greatsword and the healing abilities can prove useful in niche situations as a frontline healer but it cannot sustain itself in extended fights because of mana issues.
*Wand / Dagger - This combination does great in open world PvE as it allows for high AOE damage and is fantastic when the goal is to kill a large amount of low HP mobs in a short time or when grinding lithographs
*Wand Longbow - This combination retains its position as the unrivaled king of healing builds, offering unparalleled support for all teammates with exceptional healing capabilities and mana regeneration abilities like Nature's Blessing. It provides abundant AOE healing and serves as the backbone of every zerg composition.
*Wand / Greatsword - Combination is not good as sadly the Greatsword fails to provide anything of value to a healing type weapon like the Wand. If you intend to play the damage side of the Wand, you will find yourself struggling in applying damage. Plus being forced to move from melee into range doesn’t work well and isn’t efficient.
*Wand Staff - The combination of the wand's damage-over-time capabilities and the staff's high burst damage potential creates a great mix for consistent high damage output. This combination is also excellent for AOE grinding, as Infernal Meteor can be combined with many of the wand's AOE abilities, such as active and active. This not only provides damage and control for your zerg but also offers support through heals.
*Wand / Longbow - Is the main healing combination and should not be specced into too much damage. New Longbow healing skills and specializations allow this combination to excel in healing as well as provide a decent damage output. You cannot do dungeons without healers.
*Wand Sword - The combination of the sword's defensive capabilities and the wand's healing creates one of the best frontline fighters. This setup allows you to absorb a lot of enemy zerg damage while providing heals to your frontline allies and keeping yourself alive.
*Wand / Staff - Can be run as a main and secondary healer. The build can spec into both full healer and a DPS build with some healing. It has great capabilities for group content and AOE farming as both weapons offer high AOE damage. It is the classic mage class where both weapons use magic and elemental skills, so it can fulfill your desires of being a DPS mage or Healer mage.
*Wand / Sword - Is what many players are calling the Paladin build.

PvP Tier List
For our complete list of large scale PvP builds, see the Builds page.

This tier list is for every PvP content with maxed out BiS gear and skills. The TIER LIST design works differently compared to the PvE tier list. In PvP it is different when it comes to which weapon you are holding in your main hand, as you can most definitely hold a dagger, while using skills from your ranged off hand weapons. The only thing you lose is the long range damage from basic attacks.

Crossbow
*Crossbow / Dagger - Is extremely strong in any form of small scale PvP, while it excels in picking off low HP targets during big ZERG fights. Dagger allows it to close the distance fast, get the kill, and run away with incredible movement speed, while stealth allows for getting in on the kill, or running to safety. Dagger also brings the very much needed evasion.
*Crossbow Longbow - This weapon combination offers high damage potential and the increased range of Longbow comes in handy, this allows you to deliver damage from a relative safe distance while the crossbow comes in handy to help burst any enemies that might overextend.
*Crossbow / Greatsword - Can be played the same way as the dagger, where it provides more damage and protection, but at the cost of mobility and speed. Greatsword is very reliant on connecting with the stun to set up for the kill and doesn’t have a long range dash. In skilled hands it can be amazing in small scale PvP, but as it isn’t as great compared to dagger in Large scale PvP.
*Crossbow / Longbow, Staff, Sword, Wand - All 3 long range weapons wouldn’t offer as much in terms of killing potential and damage, as the crossbow relies on mid range and being quick on its feet. All 3 long range weapons in the off-hand offer quite a decent AOE capabilities for large scale PvP, but due to lack of important CC and passives, it would get run over in small scale PvP, while Sword just simply doesn’t make you tanky enough to run in the frontline and damage is quite lackluster.
*Crossbow Sword - While this combination offers the crossbow some protection and allows you to play in the frontline, the lackluster damage makes it weaker when compared to other options.
*Crossbow Wand - For healers, this choice isn't entirely bad and could still function adequately as a frontline healer. However, it falls short in sustaining healing output during prolonged engagements, while its damage contribution remains insignificant.

Dagger
*Dagger / Crossbow - Is extremely strong in any form of small scale PvP, while it excels in picking off low HP targets during big ZERG fights. Dagger allows it to close the distance fast, get the kill, and run away with incredible movement speed, while stealth allows for getting in on the kill, or running to safety. Dagger also brings the very much needed evasion.
*Dagger Longbow - The dagger adds much needed mobility to the Longbow and the combo performs amazingly together as the dagger damage skills fill the gaps you find in the Longbow rotation and allows for quick repositioning.
*Dagger / Greatsword - Is the ultimate full melee combination that relies on one thing. Dash on the target, chain CC with a Greatsword, unleash the full burst and every single target will be 100-0 in almost an instant. It completely destroys every single combination in small scale PvP, but can potentially struggle in large scale PvP due to reliance on hitting all CC and unleashing burst before you get CC’d or killed by 10 other players nearby. It’s a one trick pony combination.
*Dagger / Longbow, Staff, Wand - Can most definitely be played the same as if the dagger would be the off-hand weapon. You would be losing basic attack range with dagger in your hands, but you can still excel in long range efforts, and all the weapons become extremely potent at dishing out high damage from range, engaging melee on low HP targets, and having very much needed evasion, stealth and mobility. They are very strong in large scale PvP, but could struggle in some cases of small scale PvP if fought against melee assassins or crossbow players.
*Dagger Sword - The combination between sword and dagger provides a decent level of defense, allowing you to push into the enemy frontline and delivering damage before retreating through use of your various movement abilities and Camouflage Cloak.
*Dagger / Sword - Is one of the 3 incredibly strong combinations for frontline tanking and causing havoc in the enemy backline. SnS is incredibly tanky and with the addition of dagger it also gets evasion, mobility and damage. It is literally a walking fortress that can solo the enemy backline of ranged squishies and get away with it. It excels in small-scale PvP, while it can literally tank a full guild for several long seconds.
*Dagger Wand - This combination excels in open-world PVE, offering high AOE damage and effective poking against enemy zergs from a distance. It proves to be annoying to deal with, gradually applying constant dot damage to enemies over time.

Greatsword
*Greatsword / Crossbow - Can be played the same way as the dagger, where it provides more damage and protection, but at the cost of mobility and speed. Greatsword is very reliant on connecting with the stun to set up for the kill and doesn’t have a long range dash. In skilled hands it can be amazing in small scale PvP, but as it isn’t as great compared to dagger in Large scale PvP.
*Greatsword Longbow - Even with the extra range abilities provided by the Longbow, Greatsword on it's own fails to achieve high enough damage to be a threat.
*Greatsword / Dagger - Is the ultimate full melee combination that relies on one thing.
*Greatsword Staff - While the greatsword makes use of the extra damage provided by staff, the combination falls short in defensive options and you would have a very difficult time staying alive in lengthy fights.
*Greatsword / Longbow, Staff, Wand - Simply doesn’t offer anything of value in any form of PvP that complements the range capabilities of 3 weapons. It also isn’t going to be of much help in small-scale PvP versus melee attackers as a greatsword not paired with a dagger cannot deal any significant damage. It also doesn’t offer the very much needed mobility and escape tools for squishy long range combinations.
*Greatsword Sword - This is one of the best weapon combinations if you are trying to play a bruiser setup in large scale PVP, it delivers incredible AOE damage for a melee class and it can even rival other ranged focused combinations.
*Greatsword / Sword - Is the ultimate full frontline, unkillable and unmovable unit that is equipped with killing of squishies in the backline. It cannot as effortlessly engage the enemy backline, but it can soak up enough damage and force enemy DPS to target you, while your DPS cleans up the backline. It is also unkillable in small scale PvP where it can actually do a lot of damage with the greatsword burst. It’s a very much needed combination in every form of PvP.
*Greatsword Wand - The combination of the melee greatsword and the healing abilities can prove useful in niche situations as a frontline healer but it cannot sustain itself in extended fights because of mana issues.

Longbow
*Longbow / Crossbow, Greatsword, Sword - Simply do not do anything for long range capabilities. Crossbow requires mid range and a lot of mobility, Greatsword doesn’t allow you to get close enough to unleash the burst and Sword doesn’t offer nearly enough protection to be the frontline, even if you played Longbow as a healing/support weapon.
*Longbow Greatsword - Even with the extra range abilities provided by the Longbow, Greatsword on it's own fails to achieve high enough damage to be a threat.
*Longbow / Dagger, Staff - Are 2 very different combinations and builds. Dagger allows you to be a long range assassin that can go melee to finish the kill while keeping the range. It provides the needed evasion and mobility, while boosting damage with increased critical hit. It excels in small scale PvP, but can fall short to melee attackers and crossbows, and it can provide quite a decent AOE damage for Large scale PvP. On the other hand, staff makes it the ultimate glass cannon with almost infinite range and AOE capabilities. It is incredible in large scale PvP, but kinda falls quite short in small scale PvP where you literally have no defensive capabilities, so you literally have to throw everything at a target and hope it’s enough, or you are dead.
*Longbow / Wand - With new skill specialization has been turned into an ultimate healing build. It is actually absurd how much burst healing and healing overtime it can dish out to multiple targets, it also offers additional healing, support and utility skills if properly specced into. Making it a very much needed healer for any type of PvP content.

Staff
*Staff / Crossbow - Doesn’t really complement each other. Staff must utilize long range, AOE damage and burst, while crossbow is a mid range weapon that requires mobility. This combination can be strong in small-scale PvP as a crossbow can burst any target down, but it also is weak to any melee assassins with equal amount of burst. Staff does well in large scale PvP, where crossbow can’t really help.
*Staff Greatsword - While the greatsword makes use of the extra damage provided by staff, the combination falls short in defensive options and you would have a very difficult time staying alive in lengthy fights.
*Staff / Dagger - Is the main combination you will see on the kill leaderboards. And it’s very simple. High burst potential, massive AOE damage, long range, paired with everything dagger offers makes it a very strong pick for any kind of PvP content. It could have problems dealing with melee assassins and crossbow players,
*Staff Longbow - Longbow Staff remains one of the highest DPS combos in the game as it matches perfectly in both range and abilities. The use of Inner Peace coupled with Nature's Blessing provides almost unlimited mana which allows you to unleash incredible amounts of damage from the safety of being inside your own team zerg while abilities like Frost Smokescreen can provide nice repositioning.
*Staff / Longbow - Is the ultimate glass cannon combination. Full range, high burst, high AOE damage that excels in large scale, but falls short in small scale PvP due to 0 mobility, 0 protection and the only hope is bursting the enemy down before you get burst. It is a high risk, high reward combination that requires knowledge of terrain and usage of the almost infinite range.
*Staff Sword - The defensive ability of the sword remains useful even when coupled with a staff. This combination is decent for new players, although it may not output the same level of damage. However, it offers more defensive options, allowing new players to learn while having additional room for mistakes.
*Staff / Greatsword, Sword - Do not provide almost anything that compliments the high burst and long range of staff. Greatsword doesn’t offer enough mobility and survivability, while sword doesn’t offer enough defense and protection to be the front line. It can still do damage in large scale due to massive AOE, but in small scale PvP you wouldn’t be utilizing the range enough to have full use of greatsword burst and stuns.
*Staff / Wand - In both DPS build and healing support build provide excellent value for any PvP content. Either high AOE capabilities combined with Wands AOE CC, can decimate any group of players, while healing build just makes it invaluable to any group. In small scale you have enough survivability tools with defensive CC and heals, while you can counter it with burst damage.

Sword
*Sword / Crossbow, Longbow, Staff - Should be avoided and not played at all in any PvP content. None of the weapons make it tanky enough to be frontline, while none of the 3 weapons can deal enough damage on their own, without being complimented with what SnS offers.
*Sword Greatsword - This is one of the best weapon combinations if you are trying to play a bruiser setup in large scale PVP, it delivers incredible AOE damage for a melee class and it can even rival other ranged focused combinations.
*Sword / Dagger, Greatsword, Wand - Are the 3 ultimate frontline tank options. With a greatsword, you are literally unkillable unmovable fortress that can deal a lot of damage when catching a squishy DPS out of position, with the high burst potential. Dagger offers mobility, damage and very much needed evasion, which can tank significant amounts of damage at the frontline but also wreak havoc in the enemy backline, as a tanky melee assassin. And the bread and butter is the wand combination, which makes it a paladin. Literally unkillable, where it can be targeted by 10+ players and survive.
*Sword Staff - The defensive ability of the sword remains useful even when coupled with a staff. This combination is decent for new players, although it may not output the same level of damage. However, it offers more defensive options, allowing new players to learn while having additional room for mistakes.
*Sword Wand - The combination of the sword's defensive capabilities and the wand's healing creates one of the best frontline fighters. This setup allows you to absorb a lot of enemy zerg damage while providing heals to your frontline allies and keeping yourself alive.

Wand
*Wand / Crossbow - Doesn’t synergize too well, but crossbow on its own can deal more than enough burst damage, backed up by AOE CC and Damage wand can bring, while also providing the healing. It lacks in the mobility and defense department and in small scale PvP crossbow alone will not be enough to burst an enemy.
*Wand Greatsword - The combination of the melee greatsword and the healing abilities can prove useful in niche situations as a frontline healer but it cannot sustain itself in extended fights because of mana issues.
*Wand / Dagger - Is the combination that offers one the best engagers in large scale PvP. Wand has amazing AOE CC that lets you combine with high AOE burst damage, paired with a lot of crit from dagger, makes enemy groups explode. Dagger offers mobility, evasion and damage, so it performs really well in small scale PvP. On top of self healing and stealth, it does excel in almost all PvP content.
*Wand / Greatsword - Simply doesn’t offer anything of value in any form of PvP that complements the range capabilities. It also isn’t going to be of much help in small-scale PvP versus melee attackers as a Greatsword not paired with a dagger cannot deal any significant damage. It also doesn’t offer the very much needed mobility and escape tools for squishy long range combination.
*Wand / Longbow, Staff, Sword - Just speaks for itself. All 3 combinations can be played as support/healing builds, while paladin can literally tank 15 players attacking it at the same time. If played as damage it can also provide the high range, high burst and survivability to not get burst in small scale PvP. Healing will always be a main build needed in every group PvP content.
*Wand Sword - The combination of the sword's defensive capabilities and the wand's healing creates one of the best frontline fighters. This setup allows you to absorb a lot of enemy zerg damage while providing heals to your frontline allies and keeping yourself alive.

Latest revision as of 10:11, 30 August 2024

Throne and Liberty Class Tier Lists for all Weapons: Crossbow, Dagger, Greatsword, Longbow, Staff, Sword and Wand.

Ordering within each tier is based on the weapon combinations played at the highest level in end-game content with best in slow gear. It's crucial to note that these positions may change suddenly with balance patches. Therefore, it's essential, above all, to choose what you enjoy playing.

Tier Lists are up to date for the August 07, 2024 patch.

Crossbow

For our complete list of Crossbow builds, see the Crossbow Builds page.

 • Crossbow / Dagger - Is the absolute bread and butter when it comes to high single target damage burst and a well rounded sustained damage during long boss fights. It pairs well with passives and mobility the Dagger provides. Skill specialization made it even stronger and it’s one of the most popular weapon combinations in the game.
 • Crossbow / Greatsword - Does provide high damage, mobility, hit and defensive stats, but it simply cannot compare to the high damage burst other weapon combinations provide. Since dagger offers more valuable passives than Greatsword as an off-hand weapon when it comes to pure damage.
 • Crossbow / Longbow - Is in the same boat as Greatsword.
 • Crossbow / Staff - Is very similar to Longbow off-hand.
 • Crossbow / Sword - While this combination offers the crossbow much needed protection, it falls short in both delivering damage and staying alive long enough to be considered for the tank role.
 • Crossbow / Wand - This combination counters itself as the Wand relies on damage over time while the Crossbow relies on quick bursts of damage. It can be difficult to keep on top of the cooldowns which cut deeply into your DPS. And the healing capabilities of Wand do not make it a great healer.

Dagger

For our complete list of Dagger builds, see the Dagger Builds page.

 • Dagger / Crossbow - Is the absolute bread and butter when it comes to high single target damage burst and a well rounded sustained damage during long boss fights. It pairs well with passives and mobility the Dagger provides. Skill specialization made it even stronger and it’s one of the most popular weapon combinations in the game.
 • Dagger / Greatsword - Is the 2nd best weapon combination where you can have a Dagger out and not use it as an off-hand. It is the best melee oriented DPS build, with high bursts, mobility and survivability.
 • Dagger / Longbow - Should not be used with the intention of having Dagger out as main weapon and forcing yourself into melee with ranged weapon. Dagger is amazing as an off-hand weapon and is very good due to passives and mobility, but not in main hand.
 • Dagger / Staff - Should not be used with the intention of having Dagger out as main weapon and forcing yourself into melee with ranged weapon. Dagger is amazing as an off-hand weapon and is very good due to passives and mobility, but not in main hand.
 • Dagger / Sword - Sadly the combination of Dagger and Sword falls short of achieving anything substantial in PvE as both weapons have rather low DPS potential on their own and the dagger doesn't do enough to help with the tank oriented side of the Sword.
 • Dagger / Wand - Should not be used with the intention of having Dagger out as main weapon and forcing yourself into melee with ranged weapon. Dagger is amazing as an off-hand weapon and is very good due to passives and mobility, but not in main hand.

Greatsword

For our complete list of Greatsword builds, see the Greatsword Builds page.

 • Greatsword / Crossbow - Does provide high damage, mobility, hit and defensive stats, but it simply cannot compare to the high damage burst other weapon combinations provide. Since dagger offers more valuable passives than Greatsword as an off-hand weapon when it comes to pure damage.
 • Greatsword / Dagger - The best melee oriented weapon combination, with a high burst damage, high mobility and attack speed. It doesn’t really matter which weapon is out in your main hand as it does almost the same job.
 • Greatsword / Longbow - This combination doesn't manage to achieve a whole lot in PvE even though both weapons have high damage potential, they are awful at complimenting each other and you'd be forced to play in close range with the Greatsword.
 • Greatsword / Staff - This combination has similar issues as Greatsword Longbow where the combination lacks in sustained damage.
 • Greatsword / Sword - Is the ultimate tank weapon combination. It offers instant queue into dungeons, allows you to be invited for any type of PvE content and it's a very much needed, core part of any group activity. It goes without even mentioning everything this weapon combination does to make you an unkillable fortress. Simply put, no tanks, no dungeons for you.
 • Greatsword / Wand - Sadly the Greatsword fails to provide anything of value to a healing type weapon like the wand. Meanwhile, if you intend to play the damage side of the wand, you will find yourself struggling in applying damage.

Longbow

For our complete list of Longbow builds, see the Longbow Builds page.

 • Longbow / Crossbow - Works in the same counter intuitive way as Crossbow + Longbow. Due to the nature of both weapon’s passives and specific play styles it’s not as easy to pull off consistently and maximize damage output.
 • Longbow / Dagger - Falls behind in damage against Crossbow off-hand, but dagger provides a very much needed mobility and passives. With a good build, specific play style and BiS gear it can achieve close to S tier single target damage output, but due to lacks in AOE capabilities and a slow group farming.
 • Longbow / Greatsword - Simply does not work as Greatsword cannot provide anything needed to justify running a melee off-hand weapon over Dagger. Forcing you to go into melee without complementing it with mobility skills isn’t great use of the long range Longbow provides.
 • Longbow / Staff - Is the ultimate fully long range weapon combination that offers very high damage output, AOE capabilities and single target burst. It remains almost on par with any damage Crossbow can output, and with almost unlimited mana, relatively short cooldowns you can spam every damaging skill until the boss is dead. Longbow Staff with BiS gear and extreme end game, can reach up to 35m in range.
 • Longbow / Sword - Does not work in the same way as Greatsword doesn’t as an off-hand weapon. It doesn’t have any capabilities of tanking with a long range weapon in hand and going melee completely defeats the purpose of having a long range weapon in the first place.
 • Longbow / Wand - With new skill specialization has been turned into an ultimate healing build. It is actually absurd how much burst healing and healing overtime it can dish out to multiple targets, it also offers additional healing, support and utility skills if properly specced into. Making it a very much needed healer for any type of PvE content.

Staff

For our complete list of Staff builds, see the Staff Builds page.

 • Staff / Crossbow - Is very similar to Crossbow + Staff. Both weapons individually offer a high damage, but they don’t really do anything to compliment one another. The difference in range where the Crossbow is mid range, mobility weapon and Staff being a long range casting weapon, could become difficult to manage if you are a beginner.
 • Staff / Dagger - Is probably the most popular weapon combination in the game.
 • Staff / Greatsword - Simply does not work as Greatsword cannot provide anything needed to justify running a melee off-hand weapon over Dagger. Forcing you to go into melee without complementing it with mobility skills isn’t great use of the long range Staff provides.
 • Staff / Longbow - Is the same as Longbow + Staff.
 • Staff / Sword - Does not work in the same way as Greatsword doesn’t as an off-hand weapon. It doesn’t have any capabilities of tanking with a long range weapon in hand and going melee completely defeats the purpose of having a long range weapon in the first place.
 • Staff / Wand - Can be run as a main and secondary healer. The build can spec into both full healer and a DPS build with some healing. It has great capabilities for group content and AOE farming as both weapons offer high AOE damage. It is the classic mage class where both weapons use magic and elemental skills, so it can fulfill your desires of being a DPS mage or Healer mage.

Sword

For our complete list of Sword builds, see the Sword & Shield Builds page.

 • Sword / Crossbow - While this combination offers the crossbow much needed protection, it falls short in both delivering damage and staying alive long enough to be considered for the tank role.
 • Sword / Dagger - Does work very nicely to the point where you can actually tank with it, but also deal quite a decent damage due to dagger passives and damaging skills.
 • Sword / Greatsword - Is the ultimate tank weapon combination. It offers instant queue into dungeons, allows you to be invited for any type of PvE content and it's a very much needed, core part of any group activity. It goes without even mentioning everything this weapon combination does to make you an unkillable fortress. Simply put, no tanks, no dungeons for you.
 • Sword / Longbow - While the sword succeeds in offering the Longbow much needed defense, it's lack of damage lowers overall DPS considerably and renders this combination weak when put up against others.
 • Sword / Staff - The defensive ability of the sword remains useful even when coupled with a staff, however, the lack of damage doesn't do enough to make the combination competitive from a DPS point of view when compared to other possible combinations.
 • Sword / Wand - Is what many players are calling the Paladin build.

Wand

For our complete list of Wand builds, see the Wand & Tome Builds page.

 • Wand / Crossbow - Combination counters itself as the Wand relies on damage over time while the crossbow relies on quick bursts of damage. It can be difficult to keep on top of the cooldowns which cut deeply into your DPS. You can’t go full healer build and going full DPS build isn’t sufficient and there are better options out there.
 • Wand / Dagger - This combination does great in open world PvE as it allows for high AOE damage and is fantastic when the goal is to kill a large amount of low HP mobs in a short time or when grinding lithographs
 • Wand / Greatsword - Combination is not good as sadly the Greatsword fails to provide anything of value to a healing type weapon like the Wand. If you intend to play the damage side of the Wand, you will find yourself struggling in applying damage. Plus being forced to move from melee into range doesn’t work well and isn’t efficient.
 • Wand / Longbow - Is the main healing combination and should not be specced into too much damage. New Longbow healing skills and specializations allow this combination to excel in healing as well as provide a decent damage output. You cannot do dungeons without healers.
 • Wand / Staff - Can be run as a main and secondary healer. The build can spec into both full healer and a DPS build with some healing. It has great capabilities for group content and AOE farming as both weapons offer high AOE damage. It is the classic mage class where both weapons use magic and elemental skills, so it can fulfill your desires of being a DPS mage or Healer mage.
 • Wand / Sword - Is what many players are calling the Paladin build.

PvP Tier List

For our complete list of large scale PvP builds, see the PvP Builds page.

Crossbow

For our complete list of Crossbow builds, see the Crossbow Builds page.

 • Crossbow / Dagger - Is extremely strong in any form of small scale PvP, while it excels in picking off low HP targets during big ZERG fights. Dagger allows it to close the distance fast, get the kill, and run away with incredible movement speed, while stealth allows for getting in on the kill, or running to safety. Dagger also brings the very much needed evasion.
 • Crossbow / Greatsword - Can be played the same way as the dagger, where it provides more damage and protection, but at the cost of mobility and speed. Greatsword is very reliant on connecting with the stun to set up for the kill and doesn’t have a long range dash. In skilled hands it can be amazing in small scale PvP, but as it isn’t as great compared to dagger in Large scale PvP.
 • Crossbow / Longbow, Staff, Sword, Wand - All 3 long range weapons wouldn’t offer as much in terms of killing potential and damage, as the crossbow relies on mid range and being quick on its feet.

Dagger

For our complete list of Dagger builds, see the Dagger Builds page.

 • Dagger / Crossbow - Is extremely strong in any form of small scale PvP, while it excels in picking off low HP targets during big ZERG fights. Dagger allows it to close the distance fast, get the kill, and run away with incredible movement speed, while stealth allows for getting in on the kill, or running to safety. Dagger also brings the very much needed evasion.
 • Dagger / Greatsword - Is the ultimate full melee combination that relies on one thing.
 • Dagger / Longbow, Staff, Wand - Can most definitely be played the same as if the dagger would be the off-hand weapon.
 • Dagger / Sword - Is one of the 3 incredibly strong combinations for frontline tanking and causing havoc in the enemy backline. SnS is incredibly tanky and with the addition of dagger it also gets evasion, mobility and damage. It is literally a walking fortress that can solo the enemy backline of ranged squishies and get away with it. It excels in small-scale PvP, while it can literally tank a full guild for several long seconds.

Greatsword

For our complete list of Greatsword builds, see the Greatsword Builds page.

 • Greatsword / Crossbow - Can be played the same way as the dagger, where it provides more damage and protection, but at the cost of mobility and speed. Greatsword is very reliant on connecting with the stun to set up for the kill and doesn’t have a long range dash. In skilled hands it can be amazing in small scale PvP, but as it isn’t as great compared to dagger in Large scale PvP.
 • Greatsword / Dagger - Is the ultimate full melee combination that relies on one thing.
 • Greatsword / Longbow, Staff, Wand - Simply doesn’t offer anything of value in any form of PvP that complements the range capabilities of 3 weapons. It also isn’t going to be of much help in small-scale PvP versus melee attackers as a greatsword not paired with a dagger cannot deal any significant damage. It also doesn’t offer the very much needed mobility and escape tools for squishy long range combinations.
 • Greatsword / Sword - Is the ultimate full frontline, unkillable and unmovable unit that is equipped with killing of squishies in the backline.

Longbow

For our complete list of Longbow builds, see the Longbow Builds page.

 • Longbow / Crossbow, Greatsword, Sword - Simply do not do anything for long range capabilities. Crossbow requires mid range and a lot of mobility, Greatsword doesn’t allow you to get close enough to unleash the burst and Sword doesn’t offer nearly enough protection to be the frontline, even if you played Longbow as a healing/support weapon.
 • Longbow / Dagger, Staff - Are 2 very different combinations and builds.
 • Longbow / Wand - With new skill specialization has been turned into an ultimate healing build. It is actually absurd how much burst healing and healing overtime it can dish out to multiple targets, it also offers additional healing, support and utility skills if properly specced into. Making it a very much needed healer for any type of PvP content.

Staff

For our complete list of Staff builds, see the Staff Builds page.

 • Staff / Crossbow - Doesn’t really complement each other.
 • Staff / Dagger - Is the main combination you will see on the kill leaderboards. And it’s very simple. High burst potential, massive AOE damage, long range, paired with everything dagger offers makes it a very strong pick for any kind of PvP content. It could have problems dealing with melee assassins and crossbow players,
 • Staff / Longbow - Is the ultimate glass cannon combination.
 • Staff / Greatsword, Sword - Do not provide almost anything that compliments the high burst and long range of staff.
 • Staff / Wand - In both DPS build and healing support build provide excellent value for any PvP content. Either high AOE capabilities combined with Wands AOE CC, can decimate any group of players, while healing build just makes it invaluable to any group. In small scale you have enough survivability tools with defensive CC and heals, while you can counter it with burst damage.

Sword

For our complete list of Sword builds, see the Sword & Shield Builds page.

 • Sword / Crossbow, Longbow, Staff - Should be avoided and not played at all in any PvP content. None of the weapons make it tanky enough to be frontline, while none of the 3 weapons can deal enough damage on their own, without being complimented with what SnS offers.
 • Sword / Dagger, Greatsword, Wand - Are the 3 ultimate frontline tank options.

Wand

For our complete list of Wand builds, see the Wand & Tome Builds page.

 • Wand / Crossbow - Doesn’t synergize too well, but crossbow on its own can deal more than enough burst damage, backed up by AOE CC and Damage wand can bring, while also providing the healing. It lacks in the mobility and defense department and in small scale PvP crossbow alone will not be enough to burst an enemy.
 • Wand / Dagger - Is the combination that offers one the best engagers in large scale PvP.
 • Wand / Greatsword - Simply doesn’t offer anything of value in any form of PvP that complements the range capabilities. It also isn’t going to be of much help in small-scale PvP versus melee attackers as a Greatsword not paired with a dagger cannot deal any significant damage. It also doesn’t offer the very much needed mobility and escape tools for squishy long range combination.
 • Wand / Longbow, Staff, Sword - Just speaks for itself. All 3 combinations can be played as support/healing builds, while paladin can literally tank 15 players attacking it at the same time. If played as damage it can also provide the high range, high burst and survivability to not get burst in small scale PvP. Healing will always be a main build needed in every group PvP content.
