==Overview==
This build is designed for PvP, the build excels at assassinating key targets or in 1vs1 scenarios because of it's incredible burst damage potential and short cooldowns allowing you to move between targets easily. It can be played well in small scale PVP as well but it isn't very good in Large Scale PVP like Siege or Riftstone fights.
Greatsword and Dagger build for small-scale PvP which is great for taking out important enemies and winning one-on-one fights. It can deal a lot of damage quickly and has short cooldowns, making it easy to switch between targets. It works well in small PvP battles like Dominion events, arena or open world dungeon PVP during night time.

* Main stat Dexterity until you reach 30, then you push Perception to 30 and rest into strength for some extra HP. Wisdom isn't worth investing into and going past 30 points in dexterity and perception isn't worth over the HP gains from Strength.

In this build, focus on investing points into Strength and Dexterity, aiming to improve both to maximize your damage potential and increase heavy attack chance and skill damage thanks to {{Skill|Vital Force|passive}}. The health increase from high strength stat is particularly important in PVP as it offers great survivability. However, as you progress and your gear improves over time, you will want to aim for 70 points into strength to make use of the extra HP and heavy attack chance. Dexterity should be your secondary focus to improve your critical hit while the rest of your points should go into perception for extra hit.

Meanwhile, {{Skill|Shadow Walker|passive}} as a defensive passive that can be triggered at any time by simply using your {{Skill|Block Blade|active}} (you don't have to actually roll to the side to activate this, just pressing your block is enough). It also activates whenever you use {{Skill|Shadow Strike|active}} and helps you with sustaining damage during your CC rotation.

Because of your combo, you have to start upgrading all skills that are part of your damage dealing combos as a priority. Meanwhile, skills like {{Skill|DaVinci's Courage|active}} and {{Skill|Camouflage Cloak|active}} can be left to be upgraded later as the skills can be neglected to some degree in order to increase your main damage combos first.

Because the build doesn't use that many low level passives and we make use of the higher level ones, you don't need that many books for the passives so you have some wiggle room. '''Dagger:''' Assassination is the only choice for Dagger as it gives you a lot of extra damage and the 4 remaining points can go into Poison for some weaken chance and a bit of extra damage.
'''Greatsword:''' Invest 9 points into Face Off to improve your overall damage and some added heavy attack chance, the remaining 6 points should be allocated into Incapacitate for some extra damage and stun duration.

'''Dagger:''' Selecting Assassination for your Dagger is crucial as it provides a notable damage boost. Allocate the remaining 6 points into Disguise for extra cooldown speed and defense stats.

{{Rotation|Main Burst Rotation|Shadow Strike, Ascending Slash, Gaia Crash, Stunning Blow, Death Blow, Cleaving Moonlight, Cleaving Moonlight}}
* This rotation is your main kill rotation, you can open up from inside {{Skill|Camouflage Cloak|active}} but I recommend you use it for getting out and resetting the fight instead. The rotation itself is simple, with {{Skill|Inject Venom|active}} and {{Skill|DaVinci's Courage|active}} acting as your pre-buffs then going straight in with {{Skill|Shadow Strike|active}} and then instantly follow up with {{Skill|Stunning Blow|active}} so you can do release your damage on the target.
* This rotation serves as your primary kill sequence. While you can start from within {{Skill|Camouflage Cloak|active}}, the skill is better used for escaping and resetting the fight.

{{Rotation|Quick Burst|Inject Venom, Shadow Strike, Stunning Blow, Guillotine Blade, Predatory Strike, Valiant Brawl}}
* The rotation is straightforward: begin with {{Skill|Shadow Strike|active}} to bind and silence your target. If your bind succeeds, use {{Skill|Ascending Slash|active}} to trip (Prone) your target and then use {{Skill|Gaia Crash|active}} to deal quick damage while they are on the ground. Continue with {{Skill|Stunning Blow|active}} and {{Skill|Death Blow|active}} before finishing them off with {{Skill|Cleaving Moonlight|active}}.
* This rotation is what you go for if you need to deliver high damage quickly or your main skills are on cooldown. This is a shorter easier combo to pull off but it still delivers high damage due to {{Skill|Guillotine Blade|active}}. Because of {{Skill|Stunning Blow|active}} cast time, you need to make sure that your target is stunned with {{Skill|Stunning Blow|active}}.

{{Skill|Camouflage Cloak|Active}}: This is your get-out-of-jail-free card. Use it when you are getting focused or have to reposition. Can also be used to reset a fight and cooldowns after bursting a target. There are many other use cases for stealth so be creative!
{{Rotation|Secondary Burst CC Rotation|Precision Dash, Precision Dash, Ascending Slash, Guillotine Blade, Devastating Smash, Death Blow, Brutal Incision}}
* This is a secondary rotation you can use if your other skills are on cooldown or you are trying to engage on a target far away. Start with {{Skill|Precision Dash|active}} in the direction of the target and then cast it again to teleport to them before using {{Skill|Ascending Slash|active}} to force Prone on your enemy after they got bound.

{{Skill|Ambush Stance|Defense}}: This is the main ability that makes the difference between a good Greatsword x Dagger user and a bad one. You can use this ability to pop yourself into stealth to avoid damage. In the same time, you should look to use the ability for the damage increase you get with the first skill used out of stealth.
* Continue with {{Skill|Guillotine Blade|active}} for high damage before stunning again with {{Skill|Devastating Smash|active}}. Finish off the target using {{Skill|Death Blow|active}} and {{Skill|Brutal Incision|active}}.

{{Skill|Camouflage Cloak|Active}}: This is your get-out-of-jail-free card. Use it when you are getting focused or have to reposition. It can also help reset a fight and cooldowns after taking down a target. There are numerous other ways to use stealth, so feel free to be inventive!

{{Skill|Block Blade|Defense}}: This is the key ability that distinguishes between skilled Greatsword and Dagger users and less skilled ones. You can employ this ability to increase your damage and evasion, helping a lot with your survival. This skill also increases your damage if you are using the {{Weapon|Lequirus's Thorny Edge}}.

{{Skill|DaVinci's Courage|Active}}: Use this between fights to regain health and boost your health regen and attack speed.

* Use Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian, it gives you much needed protection with it's shield that takes damage equal to 50% of your mana. While the shield is up, you also gain 40% Cooldown Speed. Even though the shield is useful, you want to make sure that you keep it up as long as possible in order to maximize the time you have extra cooldown speed. The guardian will also be lost if the shield is removed, so keep that in mind!
* Select Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides essential protection with its shield, which absorbs damage equal to 50% of your mana. While the shield is active, you also gain a 40% Cooldown Speed boost. Although the shield is valuable, ensure to maintain it for as long as possible to maximize the duration of the increased cooldown speed. Remember, the guardian will be lost if the shield is depleted, so be mindful of that!
* For gear you want to get the '''Reaper Set''' as its currently Best in Slot armor set for DPS but it also gives you a lot of dexterity and perception. '''Tevent's Despair Blade''' is the greatsword you want as it creates an AOE explosion on targets you stun, adding a lot of damage every time you use {{Skill|Stunning Blow|active}}. '''Morokai's Corrupt Sword''' and '''Magnaduke's Berserk Blade''' are also decent choices but your goal should remain '''Tevent's Despair Blade'''. '''Lequirus's Thorny Edge''' is relatively easy to get and gives you extra damage after using {{Skill|Shadow Strike|active}}, with '''Kowazan's Twilight Blade''' being a decent option for the extra damage during night. '''Rex Chimaerus's Fang''' would be a good choice as well as it gives you 8 dexterity which is quite a lot of extra damage.
