Invocator - Wand + Staff PvE Build
- Amazing AOE Damage
- Easy to play
- Low mobility
- Low Single Target DPS
Overview
This Wand & Tome and Staff PVE build focuses on AOE grinding large amounts of mobs for rare drops, contracts or lithograph grinding. It can also excel in open world dungeons grinding high level mobs with a group for drops or contracts.
Attributes
Your primary focus with this build should be Dexterity for increased damage, getting that to 30 should be your priority before moving on to perception and getting that also up to 30 for even more damage, rest of your points should go into wisdom for a bit of extra mana regeneration and maximum mana. Coupled with the mana passives and Inner Peace, it will all help you move between packs of mobs with ease without running out.
Skills
Skill Priority
When prioritizing skill upgrades, start by improving Swift Healing as it's your primary healing ability. Upgrading it to rare allows you to cast the ability twice, which is incredibly helpful. Next, focus on upgrading Touch of Despair to enhance its curse-stacking capability. Then, consider upgrading Curse Explosion for the HP shield, followed by Chain Lightning for additional damage and cooldown reduction if your character is in a wet state.
Passives Priority
You should prioritize Devotion and Emptiness as it increases the amount of healing you provide through all your healing abilities and it couples well with Noble Revival. Meanwhile, Wraith's Beckon extends the duration of your curses, providing extra healing thanks to Vampiric Contract, allowing the use of your curses to heal the frontline of your group without your active healing attention. Assassin's Instincts, is a good offensive passive that grants you extra critical hit while Shadow Walker is our only defensive option.

Wand:
Allocating 9 points into Recovery is the best strategy as it amplifies your healing capacity while also boosting mana regeneration. The remaining 3 points can be distributed to Weaken, primarily to extend the duration of damage you do with your curses.
Dagger: Investing 9 points into Disguise is ideal as it provides passive defensives that will help you stay alive even when under pressure, being able to shrug off chip damage easier while the rest of 3 points can go Poison for a bit of extra damage and weaken chance.
Rotations
- With this rotation you want to find a target that is close enough and you can keep following. You want to start by popping up your Inject Venom so all the following spells you use will spread your poison to everyone that gets hit. Once that's active, you cast Touch of Despair to get a stack of curses on your main target, then follow up by debuffing them with Time for Punishment that will decrease their resistances. Follow up with Karmic Haze in order to spread all curses and poison to other targets before casting Corrupted Magic Circle on top of your main target and the group of players around them in order to spread your curses further. Finally use Curse Explosion to deliver high damage to all targets previously infected by the mix of curses and poison.
Cursed Nightmare: This is the ability you use in order to disable incoming enemy engagers or targets that are trying to run away from you. Keep in mind that it takes 3 seconds for the spell to take effect.
Clay's Salvation: This is your AoE healing ability. Try to use it whenever your group mates are close together so the AoE heal can reach all of them.
Fountain of Life: Use this during pushes, placing it on the frontline as they engage into a fight or placing it within your zerg while you are fighting over a position will provide much needed healing.
Swift Healing: This is your only single target healing ability and you should use it in order to save overextending party members that took too much damage or on yourself.
Shadow Strike: You can use this ability either to reposition or to lock down a target that pushed into your zerg, binding and silencing them for your team to kill.
Camouflage Cloak: Camouflage Cloak offers you stealth and a way to disengage whenever you are being focused, taking the heat off yourself.
