Greatsword + Longbow Small Scale PvP Build
- High Burst Damage
- High Single Target DPS
- Tanky
- High Skill Ceiling
- Low Utility
Overview
This versatile Bow and Greatsword PvP build emphasizes quickly bursting down targets with initial close-quarters damage from the Greatsword, while the Bow aids in dealing with ranged opponents attempting to evade or finish off targets at a distance. Ensnaring Arrow proves invaluable for immobilizing enemies, enabling you to close the gap and sustain DPS.
Attributes
Prioritize allocating points into Dexterity and Perception as they offer the most substantial increase in damage output. This is generally the route you wanna take with any DPS focused build. Aim to reach level 30 in each stat to fully maximize your damage potential, as this is the core strength of the build. Allocate the remaining points into Strength to bolster your health pool and capitalize on the additional damage provided by the Vital Force.
Skills
Skill Priority
In terms of leveling priority, focus on upgrading Valiant Brawl and Stunning Blow to rare quality as they play a significant role in your initial engagement rotation alongside Willbreaker. Since Willbreaker starts as an epic skill, you don't need to prioritize upgrading it. However, upgrading Death Blow to epic provides a damage boost.
While your staff abilities aren't crucial to upgrade, it's still beneficial to enhance Inferno Wave and Frost Smokescreen. Upgrading Inferno Wave provides a notable damage increase which is most needed when you focus on raw damage output. Meanwhile Frost Smokescreen gains additional utility with rare quality, doubling its usage. However, upgrading these shouldn't be your highest priority.
When it comes to epic upgrades, prioritize Inferno Wave, especially if you encounter epic books that can be utilized while continuing to upgrade other abilities to rare quality.
Passives Priority
Upgrading passives isn't too costly, allowing you to prioritize active skills instead. However, it's essential not to neglect them. Focus on upgrading Robust Constitution and Vital Force as they compliment eachother, adding extra damage and health. Cold Warrior offers increased critical hit along with Heavy Attack Chance after using Stunning Blow and that for shouldn't be ignored as it boosts your heavy attack chance a lot when used alongside Precision Dash in your rotation. Mana Amp provides extra health when improved and that pairs perfectly with Vital Force which makes the choice obvious. The rest of your passives are high level and that for are already upgraded to epic.

Staff:
To maximize your damage output, invest 9 points into Destroy to significantly increase skill damage and magical critical hit through the Weapon Masteries. The rest of 3 points can go into Mana for a bit of mana regen and melee defense as 10% Burning Damage isn't worth the points when the only fire ability we have is Inferno Wave.
Greatsword: Allocate 9 points into Incapacitate to increase stun duration and enhance your stun chance. Once you've maxed out Incapacitate, allocate the remaining points into Face Off to further boost your damage output.
Rotations
- In this rotation, your objective is to initiate with High Locus to gain movement speed and easily reach your target with Precision Dash. Once you've closed the distance, follow up with Stunning Blow to immobilize them, then debuff with Willbreaker before delivering high damage using Death Blow and Valiant Brawl. To maintain pressure, use Ice Spear to slow their movement speed. If they manage to escape your melee range, finish them off with Chain Lightning and Judgment Lightning after using Inferno WaveInferno Wave.
- In certain situations or events, you might find yourself low on HP or incapable of pushing after an enemy as their team mates would kill you. You can keep your range and use this rotation to put pressure and force an engage from them while remaining switched to the Staff so you deal constant range damage. While it doesn't compare to a proper ranged DPS, your rotation still has kill potential for low HP targets.
Frost Smokescreen: Is your only movement ability basides Precision Dash and is your main ability to kite away from bad situations, try to use this defensively! An offensive way of using this could be if it is used after you've done your initial melee burst in order to slow your enemy and switch to your ranged rotation.
High Locus: Use this ability to consistently reduce the cooldowns of your other abilities before starting a rotation. It will also help you catch on to targets and allows you to move away when needing to retreat.
Ice Spear: While this ability is often used as you charge your target, it can still be used to put distance between yourself and your enemies while you wait for your cooldowns to refresh.
Guillotine Blade: This ability can only be used when coupled with Stunning Blow because of it's cast time and while it offers high damage, using it on its own will likely get you killed.
Icebound Tomb: This ability is highly effective for resetting engagements or immobilizing a target to aid in your escape. Its prolonged duration freeze, combined with the lack of any in-game item capable of removing this debuff, makes it incredibly potent in 1v1 encounters and small group PvP. It's particularly effective for neutralizing enemy healers, giving you ample time to focus on other targets if you find yourself in a group PVP scenario.
Useful Information
- Select Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides essential protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only aids in mitigating damage but also increases your cooldown speed in order to let you heal more often.
