Ravager - Greatsword + Dagger Large Scale PvP Build
- Great Burst Damage
- Versatility
- Utility
- High Skill Floor
- Squishy
Overview
Using Greatsword and Dagger in Large scale PvP is perfect for players that love a challenge and constantly weaving in and out of combat. While it isn't an easy build to pull off due to it's squishy nature, it has incredible kill potential that can benefit any large group in PvP over Riftstones or bosses. The use of Phantom Smokescreen also provides great utility and can stop a great amount of damage even though it doesn't stop Infernal Meteor.
Attributes
Focus on allocating points primarily into Dexterity as your main stat until reaching level 30. After that, prioritize investing in Perception up to level 30 as well. Any remaining points can be allocated into Strength, which not only boost your damage output but also synergizes with the Vital Force passive skill. However, remember that Perception and Dexterity should remain your main focus, as they offer the most substantial damage increase for your build.
Skills
Skill Priority
Even though this build makes use of mostly epic level abilities, you should still prioritize the abilities you use the most in your single target rotation. Precision Dash, Stunning Blow, & Death Blow are your main single target abilities from the Greatsword while the combination of Shadow Strike and Brutal Incision followed up by Frenzied Sword Dance does quick work of your enemies.
Passives Priority
Because this build mainly depends on higher-level passives and doesn't need as many lower-level ones, you won't require as many books for them, providing some flexibility. However, it's still important to prioritize Vital Force and Robust Constitution passives. These two passives complement each other well and synergize effectively, boosting the effectiveness of your build. Shadow Walker should take priority once you start upgrading your rare abilities to Epic as it provides great evasion and damage reduction. Meanwhile, Assassin's Instincts is a fantastic offensive passive and should be proritized early.

Greatsword: Allocate 9 points into Face Off to enhance your overall damage output and gain additional heavy attack chance. Then, invest the remaining 3 points into Incapacitate to further boost your damage.
Dagger: Selecting Assassination for your Dagger is perfect as it provides a great damage boost in line with build's main focus. Allocate the remaining 3 points into Poison for a chance to weaken foes and add extra damage.
Rotations
- This is your primary AoE Rotation you should do once you've spotted a group of enemies together. Your goal is to fixate onto one target using Precision Dash and following up with Stunning Blow to keep them in place before using Willbreaker to debuff enemies nearby. Gaia Crash is then used to deliver AoE damage alongside Devastating Tornado while you remain on top of the enemies. You should use Phantom Smokescreen afterwards to deny a response from the enemies and stay alive as the skill blocks all projectiles. Keep in mind however that Infernal Meteor doesn't get blocked by this.
- This rotation is perfect for swiftly dealing high damage to single targets and putting pressure on players that are trying to engage on your party. Start with Precision Dash to close the distance before using Stunning Blow to stun them and allow yourself to cast Guillotine Blade. Quickly follow up with Death Blow for extra damage and finish them off using Brutal Incision
- The alternative rotation starts with Shadow Strike for moving close to the enemy but also rooting them in place before you use Stunning Blow to stun them and follow up with Willbreaker for a debuff while Death Blow with a follow-up Frenzied Sword Dance. If the enemy is still alive, use Brutal Incision to finish the job.
Phantom Smokescreen: While Phantom Smokescreen has it's place at the end of your AoE damage rotation, it can still be used independently as well. It can be a valuable tool when used on top of already wounded team mates and stop possible executions from high damage projectile based skills like Strafing or Decisive Sniping
Useful Information
- Choose Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian, as it offers protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This shield not only mitigates damage but also grants a 40% Cooldown Speed boost while active. However, it's crucial to manage the shield effectively to maximize the duration of the increased cooldown speed. Be mindful that the guardian will be lost if the shield is depleted, so use it judiciously.
