Heavenquaker Spear & Infernal Twinblades PvP Build
- Easy to Play
- Great Single Target Combo
- Good AOE
- Low Range
- High Skill Ceiling
- Squishy
Overview
This Where Winds Meet build focuses on pairing the high AOE damage of the
Heavenquaker Spear with the single target combo potential of the
Infernal Twinblades, making it easy to combo players from 100% HP to (ideally) 0% HP so you can win fights just the back off
Infernal Twinblades while also having the
Flamelash CC immunity to rely on as needed to win duels and make trades you normally can't win without the CC immunity.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Morale Chant is a fantastic choice for boosting DPS as every hit has a high chance to increase damage (guaranteed once upgraded). Using
Trapped Beast is very strong in all PVP content as it essentially adds a 30% HP shield on top of your current HP, making it so you cannot die as quickly during combos, making it difficult for players to combo you down. Wrap up the Inner Ways with
Seasonal Edge to boost your stats whenever you use the Dual-Weapon Skill, further increasing Critical Rate and overall damage you do.
Echoes of Oblivion is prefect for the build as it adds extra damage to your light attack combos.
Mystic Skills
Serene Breeze remains the single most important PvP Mystic Skill, as it instantly breaks you out of CC chains and can completely turn a fight around.
Cloud Steps is excellent for sudden engages, letting you close the gap quickly in ways that are hard for opponents to dodge. For damage and pressure,
Dragon's Breath works well both as a combo finisher and as a defensive tool when enemies rush toward you.
Leaping Toad and
Talon Strike both offer reliable knockdowns for crowd control, though
Talon Strike is harder to land and deals less damage overall.
Meridian Touch is great for ranged chip damage and for baiting reactions from opponents. And while the vitality cost is steep,
Golden Body is still a powerful defensive option thanks to the Fortitude (CC immunity) it provides.
Rotations
- Begin with
Addled Mind to catch a player before using the Light Attack combo before using
Calamity's Greed, repeat this until you are out of
Addled Mind and hopefully have enough Karmic Flame buff to use
Flamelash into Light Attacks spam or do essentially anything you'd like as CC immunity helps.
- You ideally want to catch an enemy off-guard either with
Cloud Steps or any other way before using
Sweep All first to debuff them before using
Sober Sorrow to deal damage. Close the rotation up with
Dragon's Breath as a defensive option to apply burning on the enemy while also blocking them from attacking further.
