Overview

Using Stormbreaker SpearStormbreaker Spear with Panacea FanPanacea Fan creates one of the tankiest builds in Where Winds Meet. It gives you a huge amount of Fortitude, which means you’re basically CC-immune through your whole combo. The downside is that the attacks are slow and easy to see coming, so it’s harder to use against fast weapons like the Infernal TwinbladesInfernal Twinblades or Nameless SwordNameless Sword.

The playstyle is slow, but the damage is still strong enough to catch players who aren’t paying attention. You can stay defensive, wait for the right moment, and still hit hard while being a nightmare to kill. Almost all of your survival comes from the Panacea FanPanacea Fan, which gives steady healing. In group PvP, ResurrectionResurrection is especially strong, letting you bring teammates back and swing the whole fight in your team’s favor.

While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Rainwhisper + Moonflare set combo and make sure to keep the buff active by weaving in Heavy and Light attacks as needed. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.

Adaptive SteelAdaptive Steel is a great pick if you want stronger Charged Skills, which fits perfectly with how often you use Fury SpearFury Spear and its built-in Fortitude. For extra safety, Trapped BeastTrapped Beast gives you a strong shield whenever your HP gets low, helping you survive sudden burst damage and stay in the fight longer.

Even though Rock SolidRock Solid is usually better in PvE, it still works well here by giving you extra toughness on the Stormbreaker SpearStormbreaker Spear, reducing incoming damage without hurting your own damage too much. And of course, Morale ChantMorale Chant remains one of the strongest Inner Ways overall. It boosts both your damage and healing, and the stacks are very easy to keep up during longer fights.

Meridian Touch

To pressure enemies from afar, Meridian TouchMeridian Touch is a strong Inner Way even in PVP. It makes players react early, and it also lets you Execute low‑HP players without having to chase them down the entire arena. If you need help catching someone who’s running, Cloud StepsCloud Steps gives you a quick jump, though it can still be blocked if they predict it.

For staying alive during dangerous moments, Golden BodyGolden Body is one of your best options. It costs a lot of vitality, but the protection and Fortitude it gives make it extremely useful for surviving burst damage or avoiding long CC chains. If you want a trickier playstyle, you can replace it with Ghostly StepsGhostly Steps, which hides you during dashes and can help you ambush opponents.

When it comes to pure CC and winning trades, Leaping ToadLeaping Toad and Talon StrikeTalon Strike are top choices. Both skills knock enemies down and kill their Qi. Talon StrikeTalon Strike doesn’t hit very hard and is harder to land, but since it goes through block, it’s excellent for dealing with players who guard too much. This can also be swapped for Yaksha RushYaksha Rush instead.

Your most important tool in PvP remains Serene BreezeSerene Breeze. It instantly breaks CC, letting you escape, reset the fight, or counterattack if you time it well. Dragon's BreathDragon's Breath adds quick follow‑up damage in the end of combos and can also help defensively when someone rushes you.
