Panacea Fan & Stormbreaker Spear PvP Build
- High Fortitude (CC Immunity)
- Good Healing
- Easy to Play
- Boring to play
- Slow
- One-trick Pony
Overview
Using
Stormbreaker Spear with
Panacea Fan creates one of the tankiest builds in Where Winds Meet. It gives you a huge amount of Fortitude, which means you’re basically CC-immune through your whole combo. The downside is that the attacks are slow and easy to see coming, so it’s harder to use against fast weapons like the
Infernal Twinblades or
Nameless Sword.
The playstyle is slow, but the damage is still strong enough to catch players who aren’t paying attention. You can stay defensive, wait for the right moment, and still hit hard while being a nightmare to kill. Almost all of your survival comes from the
Panacea Fan, which gives steady healing. In group PvP,
Resurrection is especially strong, letting you bring teammates back and swing the whole fight in your team’s favor.
Martial Arts
Gear
Stats Priority
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Rainwhisper + Moonflare set combo and make sure to keep the buff active by weaving in Heavy and Light attacks as needed. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Adaptive Steel is a great pick if you want stronger Charged Skills, which fits perfectly with how often you use
Fury Spear and its built-in Fortitude. For extra safety,
Trapped Beast gives you a strong shield whenever your HP gets low, helping you survive sudden burst damage and stay in the fight longer.
Even though
Rock Solid is usually better in PvE, it still works well here by giving you extra toughness on the
Stormbreaker Spear, reducing incoming damage without hurting your own damage too much. And of course,
Morale Chant remains one of the strongest Inner Ways overall. It boosts both your damage and healing, and the stacks are very easy to keep up during longer fights.
Mystic Skills
To pressure enemies from afar,
Meridian Touch is a strong Inner Way even in PVP. It makes players react early, and it also lets you Execute low‑HP players without having to chase them down the entire arena. If you need help catching someone who’s running,
Cloud Steps gives you a quick jump, though it can still be blocked if they predict it.
For staying alive during dangerous moments,
Golden Body is one of your best options. It costs a lot of vitality, but the protection and Fortitude it gives make it extremely useful for surviving burst damage or avoiding long CC chains. If you want a trickier playstyle, you can replace it with
Ghostly Steps, which hides you during dashes and can help you ambush opponents.
When it comes to pure CC and winning trades,
Leaping Toad and
Talon Strike are top choices. Both skills knock enemies down and kill their Qi.
Talon Strike doesn’t hit very hard and is harder to land, but since it goes through block, it’s excellent for dealing with players who guard too much. This can also be swapped for
Yaksha Rush instead.
Your most important tool in PvP remains
Serene Breeze. It instantly breaks CC, letting you escape, reset the fight, or counterattack if you time it well.
Dragon's Breath adds quick follow‑up damage in the end of combos and can also help defensively when someone rushes you.
Rotations
- Begin with
Storm Roar to deal some damage and also increase the damage you do to the enemy while decreasing the damage you receive. Follow-up with a quick
Thunder Shock into a
Talon Strike in order to catch the enemy off guard and deal damage or even knock them down onto the ground.
- Continue with a charged
Fury Spear then straight into
Thunder Shock for some extra damage. You generally want to back off after that to heal or play defensive as cooldowns are returning.
Whenever you aren’t under much pressure,
Light Dust After Morning Rain and
Emerald Dewtouch keep topping up your health, giving you steady recovery during slower moments. While you wait for openings and play more defensively,
Cloudburst Healing is your main sustain tool, letting you heal consistently as long as you stay in its radius.
