Heavenquaker Spear & Panacea Fan PvP Build
- Great Damage
- Good AOE Damage
- Easy to Play
- Good Heals
- Low Mobility
- Easy to Counter
Overview
Using the
Heavenquaker Spear with the
Panacea Fan makes a strong build for PvP. The spear gives you good AOE damage in close range, and the fan adds steady healing so you can stay alive longer. The fan helps your whole team survive, and
Cloudburst Healing gives strong AOE healing that can help you reset a fight when things start going bad. This setup works well for solo play because you deal good damage while also being very hard to kill. With the
Panacea Fan, the build becomes even tankier. You heal yourself often during fights and you can use
Resurrection to bring teammates back, becoming an important player in a group as you can ress others.
Martial Arts
Gear
Stats Priority
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Morale Chant is still one of the best Inner Ways you can use. It gives steady damage and healing at the same time, and it is very easy to keep stacked while fighting with this build. It fits perfectly with how often you stay in combat using the
Heavenquaker Spear.
Trapped Beast is another strong pick. It gives you a big shield when your HP gets low, which helps you survive burst damage and gives you a moment to heal or move to safety. This effect works especially well in longer fights where you might take a combo.
To make the
Heavenquaker Spear even stronger, adding
Wolfchaser's Art is great. It makes it much easier to build up the
Heavenquaker Spear specific buff when using
Sober Sorrow, letting you keep your damage high more often.
Mystic Skills
Serene Breeze is still your most important PvP skill. It breaks CC right away and lets you reset the fight, or turn things around if you time it well. For extra defense,
Golden Body also works great. It costs a lot of vitality, but the protection and Fortitude make it very safe to use in certain group fights, especially in group fights where you can get locked down easily like 30vs30 guild pvp. If you want something trickier, you can switch to
Ghostly Steps which turns you invisible during dashes and helps you move around enemies.
For long range pressure,
Meridian Touch is very useful. It does Qi damage and lets you Execute players without chasing them all over the arena. If you need to chase anyway,
Cloud Steps gives you a fast jump. It can be blocked if the enemy is ready, but you can fake it and dodge right after to stay safe.
When you need CC,
Leaping Toad and
Talon Strike are both strong picks. They knock enemies down and break Qi.
Talon Strike is harder to land and does less damage, but it goes through block which makes it very good against players who block too much. You can also replace it with
Yaksha Rush for a knock up that leads into
Free Morph.
Dragon's Breath works well for fast extra damage at the end of combos and also helps you defend yourself when someone rushes straight at you.
Rotations
- With the
Heavenquaker Spear having limited engage potential, you have to play defensive with this build. Use
Cloudburst Healing to play defensive while getting healed then catch the enemy into a
Talon Strike before following up with
Sober Sorrow alongside
Sweep All.
Cloudburst Healing: Use this when several teammates need healing. Place it on the ground and try to stay inside the AOE, or use it to help your team reset the fight.
Light Dust After Morning Rain: Use this to give a healing buff to yourself and any teammate who is low on HP. When it changes into
Resurrection, you can also use it to revive allies.
