Infernal Twinblades & Nameless Sword PvE Build
- Great Damage
- High Mobility
- Easy to Play
- Squishy
- High Skill Ceiling
Overview
This build uses three swords in the form of
Infernal Twinblades for its high mobility and combo potential (while remaining quite easy to play still) and the
Nameless Sword to add even more mobility with
Daunting Strike while giving the option to deal damage from medium range using
Shadow Step and of course the triple wave
Vagrant Sword. This build is incredibly strong for all kinds of PVE content, from solo play through Where Winds Meet to boss fights of any size and any other challenges you want to do.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Morale Chant is a top-tier Inner Way and a must-have for this build (like most others), as its stacks are extremely easy to maintain thanks to the high attack speed of both weapons.
Echoes of Oblivion adds valuable extra damage by applying a defense-piercing debuff, which can be triggered consistently through
Infernal Twinblades Light Attacks, adding even more damage to the build.
Don’t overlook
Sword Morph, as
Vagrant Sword releases additional waves when fully charged while the
Daunting Strike shield is active (or right after using
Shadow Step once upgraded). This dramatically increases your damage output and can top the DPS charts with ease.
Vagrant Sword is further strengthened by
Battle Anthem, making it hit even harder.
Mystic Skills
One of the good CC skills that also destroys enemy Qi bars is the
Talon Strike, which knocks down a target while also doing good damage even if it doesn't do just as much damage as
Soaring Spin.
Ghost Bind is an incredibly powerful AoE CC support skill, helping you set up groups of mobs for yourself or your allies as needed.
Dragon's Breath deals damage over time while also opening the option for stamina regeneration by continuing DPS with
Drunken Poet to spend vitality instead of endurance, making the
Dragon's Breath debuff explode for extra damage with every hit from
Drunken Poet.
Leaping Toad is another very strong skill for PVE as it puts up a poison, does good damage and once upgraded... the poison also spreads to other enemies, creating multiple explosions for good AOE damage. You generally want to have this stacked up alongside
Dragon's Breath.
Rotations
- Just like the other rotation, you want to start with
Dragon's Breath to apply burns to the target. Continue with
Addled Mind, then follow up with
Calamity's Greed to keep the combo going. After that, use
Addled Mind again and switch back to
Calamity's Greed. Finish the sequence with
Flamelash into Light Attacks while they’re buffed, then swap to the
Heavenquaker Spear.
- Debuff the boss with both
Dragon's Breath and
Leaping Toad, stacking up on the boss to deal damage while you do the rest of the rotation. Use
Daunting Strike until you gain a shield, then fully charge
Vagrant Sword to release additional energy waves. Re-apply
Dragon's Breath and make sure it keeps ticking before either swapping to the Twinblades Rotation or into
Drunken Poet.
