Infernal Twinblades & Nameless Sword PvP Build
- Great Damage
- High Mobility
- Easy to Play
- Squishy
- Can struggle vs Good Players
- High Skill Ceiling
Overview
In this build you want to combine the
Infernal Twinblades with the
Nameless Sword to maximize the mobility of both weapons, being able to catch up to enemies and stay on top of them as they struggle to block you off.
Daunting Strike is perfect for catching enemies before transitioning either into defense with the
Shadow Step backwards or continuing the attack using
Addled Mind. This is the perfect new player build that is easy to pick up and can perform well even as a beginner in Where Winds Meet.
Martial Arts
Inner Way
Morale Chant is a top tier Inner Ways and a must have in this build too as it is very easy to stack up and maintain them thanks to the high attack speed of both weapons.
Echoes of Oblivion adds extra damage as it applies a defense piercing debuff that can be exposed by
Infernal Twinblades Light Attacks.
Don't forget
Sword Morph thought as the
Vagrant Sword releases additional waves when you charge it up while having the shield from
Daunting Strike active. This does a lot of damage and can delete one's HP bar if they are caught out of position and take the full hits.
Vagrant Sword is further boosted with
Battle Anthem.
Mystic Skills
Leaping Toad &
Talon Strike are good for CC as they can be used to knock people down but
Talon Strike is tough to land and doesn't do very much damage.
Serene Breeze is the most important skill in all PVP scenarios as it breaks you out of CC chains and opens up the enemy for a comeback in a fight.
Cloud Steps is very strong for catching enemies off guard and closing in easier as it can be difficult to dodge out of.
Dragon's Breath is good for doing quick damage in combos or used as a defensive skill against enemies rushing you.
Meridian Touch is good for extra damage from range and to fake out attacks.
Golden Body is a good choice for defense eventhough the vitality cost is quite high, it is very powerful as it also grants Fortitude (CC immunity).
Rotations
- While this rotation usually requires
Golden Body to have CC immunity while you do it, you can sometimes catch enemies without it too. Begin with
Addled Mind to catch a player before transitioning into
Calamity's Greed to build up your Karmic Flame buff and use
Flamelash into Light Attacks spam.
- This rotation is very opponent dependant as a good player will block/parry you out but you want to start with
Daunting Strike to catch an enemy off guard. If they end up blocking/parrying you, you jump back using
Shadow Step. You can then swap to the
Infernal Twinblades and go back in using
Addled Mind.
