Nameless Spear & Inkwell Fan PvP Build
- Good Damage
- Good Combos
- Great Range
- Can be countered easily
- Takes time to learn
- Setup Dependant
Overview
The
Nameless Spear is strong because
Qiankun's Lock completely stuns the enemy, forcing them to use
Serene Breeze or take full damage. The
Inkwell Fan helps the build by giving you air juggles, which are great for winning fights.
With
Jadewind Shield, you can control how close players get to you. If you keep good distance, enemies struggle to catch you, and you can switch to the
Nameless Spear to land
Qiankun's Lock and win the trade. For extra CC,
Peak's Springless Silence knocks enemies up and sets up easy combos. It also works smoothly with
Yaksha Rush or
Wolflike Frenzy for more air juggling.
The
Inkwell Fan also has
Forsaken Fame, another strong CC move that lifts targets and lets you continue your combo easily.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Veil of the Willow + Beyond the Chill set combo and make sure to keep the buff active by weaving in Heavy and Light attacks as needed. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
To deal more damage to enemies in the air,
Star Reacher is a great pick. It boosts Airborne Damage and becomes even better once upgraded. For higher overall DPS,
Adaptive Steel is also strong because it lets your skills ignore armor, which fits perfectly with the
Nameless Spear attacks.
Mountain's Might is another key choice since it lowers enemy endurance faster, making follow-up combos easier after landing
Qiankun's Lock. And as always,
Morale Chant is one of the best Inner Ways in the game. Every hit you land increases your damage, letting you build steady DPS during each fight.
Mystic Skills
For survivability in difficult fights,
Golden Body is one of the strongest tools available. Even though it costs a large amount of vitality, the protection it gives and the Fortitude effect make it extremely useful when you need CC immunity to stay alive. When you want to pressure enemies from a safe distance,
Meridian Touch is an effective choice. It can force players to react early or allow you to Execute weakened targets without having to get close.
Dragon's Breath offers quick damage during combos and is also helpful when used defensively, especially if an enemy rushes you. To catch opponents,
Cloud Steps gives you a sudden burst of movement. It helps you catch players who are trying to escape, though it can still be blocked by someone who expects it.
For crowd control,
Leaping Toad and
Talon Strike are dependable picks because they can knock enemies down and deal Qi damage.
Talon Strike is harder to land and deals less damage, but its ability to pass through block makes it especially strong against defensive players. Your most important Mystic Skill in PVP remains
Serene Breeze. It breaks you out of CC chains and gives you a chance to recover or turn the fight around.
Rotations
- Begin the fight by catching an enemy off-guard and catch them using
Qiankun's Lock. Once locked, you want to use
Dragon's Breath to put a debuff onto the enemy so they take burning damage in case you want to back off right after.
- Press the advantage with
Peak's Springless Silence then use
Moon Shatter Spring again to juggle the enemy in the air and deal damage. This is your main damage rotation you can do over and over to chip away enemy HP.
Peak's Springless Silence can then be reused to teleport to your clone so you can use Light Attacks from range or do whatever.
- As simple as this rotation is, it can do good damage and catch enemies off-guard. Use
Qiankun's Lock to freeze them and then use
Legion Crusher to deal a bit of damage before channeling a full
Storm Dance. This can lock enemies into it and deal incredibly high damage if the enemy can't dodge out of it.
