Nameless Sword & Inkwell Fan PvP Build
- Good Mobility
- Good CC
- Fun to Play
- Good Range
- Takes time to learn
- Lots of room for mistakes
Overview
The
Nameless Sword adds strong mobility to the setup. It lets you pressure opponents with sudden openings from
Daunting Strike and escape or reposition with
Shadow Step, giving you both offense and safety in close fights.
The
Inkwell Fan then builds on this by offering ranged harassment, smooth movement, and the air-juggle damage. It also provides access to
Jadewind Shield, which helps you block incoming attacks and slow down aggressive weapons such as the
Strategic Sword or
Infernal Twinblades.
Together, these two weapons create a flexible combo-focused playstyle that works well for players who want something different in PvP and enjoy chaining hits while staying mobile.
Martial Arts
Gear
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
A good defense Inner Way slot is filled by
Trapped Beast. When your health becomes low, it provides a protective shield that can prevent enemy combos from finishing you off, giving you a chance to reset the PVP fight.
To strengthen your ranged pressure and mid-distance control,
Sword Morph is an important pick. It adds extra hits to
Vagrant Sword, allowing you to deal high damage without needing to stay right next to enemy players.
For sustaining high damage through longer fights,
Morale Chant becomes the core choice. Each successful hit increases your overall power, making it one of the most effective Inner Ways for steady DPS gain.
You can finish the setup with
Seasonal Edge, which provides a damage boost when swapping weapons and helps maintain consistent pressure throughout your rotations.
Mystic Skills
For survivability,
Golden Body remains one of the strongest defensive choices. It costs a lot of vitality, but the protection and Fortitude it provides make it very effective during difficult fights and a way to win decesively if you have the vitality to spend.
To pressure enemies from a distance,
Meridian Touch is useful. It can bait reactions or be used to Execute weakened targets without needing to get close.
Cloud Steps gives you a way to close distance quickly and catch opponents who try to retreat, though it can still be blocked if the enemy expects it.
For steady combo damage,
Dragon's Breath is helpful. It adds fast hits during your follow-ups and can also serve as a defensive response when you are rushed or pushed into a corner.
When it comes to crowd control,
Leaping Toad and
Talon Strike are reliable options because both can knock enemies down.
Talon Strike deals low damage and is harder to land, but its ability to go through block makes it valuable against defensive players.
Your most important Inner Way in PVP is
Serene Breeze. It breaks you out of CC chains, allowing you to reset the fight or even turn the fight around entirely.
Rotations
- This rotation depends on if you can get a good hit with
Daunting Strike into a quick
Shadow Step then straight into
Talon Strike. Follow up with
Peak's Springless Silence straight into a Heavy Attack combo (
Moon Shatter Spring).
- Then, you can use
Peak's Springless Silence again to teleport back to your clone. Use
Jadewind Shield to protect yourself while waiting on cooldowns or another opportunity.
