Strategic Sword & Infernal Twinblades PvP Build
- Great Damage
- Good Mobility
- Easy to Play
- High Skill Ceiling
- Awkward to use at times
- Squishy
Overview
Match the
Infernal Twinblades with the
Strategic Sword, pairing mobility with great high damage combos of the
Strategic Sword and allowing players of all skill levels to play a powerful build that can perform well in all PVP scenarios, from small group pvp, to 1vs1 arena or guild battles. This assassin style build is the true glasscannon type of build where you forsake all defense in order to maximize offense, taking down enemies before they can kill you.
Martial Arts
Inner Way
Morale Chant is a top tier Inner Ways and a must have in this build too as it is very easy to stack up and maintain them thanks to the high attack speed of both weapons.
Sword Horizon adds an entire new level to the
Strategic Sword, building up more bleed stacks while also doing more damage, making this a must have for the build.
For a defensive Inner Way, use the
Evening Snow to get some HP back whenever your HP is lowered enough to trigger the effect.
Seasonal Edge is good for when you are swapping between the weapons, adding an extra buff every time you use
Dual-Weapon Skill.
Mystic Skills
Cloud Steps is very strong for catching enemies off guard and closing the distance quickly, especially since it can be hard for newer players to dodge.
Leaping Toad can replace blocking by letting you reset the fight and knock the enemy down, while
Talon Strike is great for knocking enemies down when you manage to surprise them.
Dragon's Breath is another top-tier option, doing good damage and letting you animation-cancel it almost instantly while still applying fire damage over time.
Meridian Touch is useful for extra ranged damage, faking attacks, and even canceling certain skills like
Cloud Steps.
Golden Body is a strong defensive choice, and even though it costs a lot of Vitality, it’s worth it because it gives you Fortitude (CC immunity).
Serene Breeze is the most important skill in any PVP fight since it breaks you out of CC chains and gives you a chance to turn the fight around.
Rotations
- Begin with
Addled Mind to catch a player before transitioning into
Calamity's Greed to continue the combo before using
Addled Mind again, switching back to
Calamity's Greed. Finally, use the
Soaring Spin for some extra damage.
- While this isn't a complex rotation whatsoever, once you caught an enemy by deflecting an attack or otherwise, use
Inner Track Slash straight into
Inner Balance Strike III for an extended combo. You can then follow-up either straight into the Single Target Rotation or use a skill like
Soaring Spin.
