Strategic Sword & Panacea Fan PvP Build
- Great Damage
- Easy to Play
- Good Heals
- Low-ish damage
- Low Mobility
Overview
Using the
Strategic Sword with the
Panacea Fan creates one of the safest and strongest self-healing PvP builds in Where Winds Meet. The
Strategic Sword already has enough damage and mobility to start combos and pressure enemies, making it a great option for anyone who wants to play an off-healer in group PvP or guild battles.
When you pair it with the
Panacea Fan, the build becomes much more forgiving and harder to kill. You gain steady healing during fights and the ability to use
Resurrection, letting you bring teammates back into the fight. Its healing skills help your whole team survive longer, and
Cloudburst Healing adds strong AoE healing that can reset the flow of a fight when things get rough.
Martial Arts
Gear
Stats Priority
While the Gear part of the build is still under development and more information will come soon, you should use the Hawkwing + Eaglerise set combo. This part of the build is still under construction as far as specific stats go.
Inner Way
Trapped Beast gives you a strong shield when your HP gets low, helping you survive burst damage and giving you time to heal or reposition. It works very well in this build because it lets you stay alive even after eating a big combo.
To boost the strength of the
Strategic Sword,
Sword Horizon is obvious. It increases your overall damage by extending your combos, letting you keep pressure on enemies for longer.
Restoring Blossom is also useful since it adds more healing, helping both you and your teammates stay alive during fights.
Of course,
Morale Chant is still one of the top Inner Ways in the entire game. It gives you steady damage and solid healing at the same time, and it’s very easy to keep stacked while fighting with this build.
Mystic Skills
For CC and winning trades,
Leaping Toad and
Talon Strike are strong. Both knock enemies down and break their Qi.
Talon Strike hits lighter and is harder to land, but it goes through block which makes it very good against players who spam block too much. You can swap in for
Yaksha Rush if you want the knock up and easy follow-up into
Free Morph.
To pressure enemies from range,
Meridian Touch works very well. It forces players to react and also lets you Execute low HP targets without chasing them across the arena. If you do need to chase,
Cloud Steps gives a fast jump forward. It can be blocked if they predict it, but you can fake it and dodge after if needed.
Your most important PvP skill is
Serene Breeze. It breaks CC instantly which lets you escape, reset, or turn a losing fight into a winning one with good timing.
Dragon's Breath is also helpful for adding fast extra damage at the end of combos or as a defensive so players can't jump you from the front as easily.
Golden Body is one of your best defensive skills. It costs a lot of vitality, but the protection and Fortitude it gives makes it great for surviving in group fights where CC chains are hard to dodge. Another option is the
Ghostly Steps if you want an option to go invisible during dashes and helps you flank better.
Rotations
- You can either catch someone with a
Second Track Slash (keep in mind that you can do a second jump by pressing it again after initial landing).
- Follow-up with
Inner Track Slash full combo straight into
Inner Balance Strike III. You can either continue with another
Inner Balance Strike III to get out again and possibly catch the enemy again or you can use
Dragon's Breath to apply a DoT burn damage.
Cloudburst Healing: Best used when multiple allies need healing at the same time. Drop it on the ground and try to fight inside the AOE or use it to help allies reset the fight.
Light Dust After Morning Rain: Apply this to grant a healing buff to yourself and any teammate who is low on health. When it shifts into
Resurrection, you can also use it to revive people too.
